Ache

     Yep. . .

That's what happened to me. Imagine that it's in the lower stomach, and it comes suddenly. You're about 500 meters away from home, but can't run as it will only make it worse. You have to endure it as it's growing. When you arrive home, you hurry into the shower, to use heated water to calm down the ache in your stomach. You're breathing fast and hard while you're dizzy and can't see clearly.

When you realize it doesn't work, just a few minutes after getting in, you get out and take a painkiller instead. However, it doesn't work as fast as you wish and have to wait for over 15 agonizing minutes. You tell your parents, who try to calm you as stress from the pain only makes it worse. You lay on the floor, but then go into the bathroom, where it's cool and dark - exactly what you need.

However, the pain is agonizing and you lay on the floor in the darkness, covered in nothing else but a towel. Your father brings you a container with hot water, which helps from time to time, as the tension in your stomach comes and goes, along with the pain. You use a dusty cloth, which is cool from water, and rinse it with ice cold water, only to hold it against your forehead. It feels good, but the pain reminds itself from time to time. You change position, only to change back after a short period of time.

Then, finally, you realize the pain returns more slowly and rarely, which makes you understand the painkiller has begun to work at last. After another 5 or 10 minutes, you wake up from a short nap, freezing and the sweat gone. You feel nothing around the stomach anymore. However, you move carefully, just to be certain of your suspicions. You realize you were right, and start to clean up the bathroom after the horrible half an hour of constant pain.

But most of all, you thank your mom mentally, for motherly helpfulness and knowledge of whatever you experienced. Neither of you knew why it happened, and yet, your mother knew exactly what to do to make it stop. She calmed your stress with just a few words, which speeded up the disapperance of the pain, and you're happy that you have such a kind, loving and wonderful mother.

Mother, thank you. This picture may be of Park Na Rae from SPICA, but with some typographic technique, it looks a lot like the beautiful you.
