"Welcome to Ennui-" I stopped speaking when I saw a familar face with a woman.

"Table for 2 please!" The woman happily exclaimed. I glanced into the main floor and nodded at the other waiter who cleared a table.

"Right this way." I said, grabbed two menus and led the two to their table. The man tucked the woman into the table and I set the menus down.

"Today's special is the Spicy Basil Noodles. Also, all of the drinks and desserts are now half off." I told the two with a smile.

"No need for that. We'll have the crispy phyllo shrimp for our appetizer. What do you want to eat oppa?"

"I'll have the steak citrus salad."

"And?" The woman forced.

"She'll have the harissa chicken."

"Excellent choices. What would you like to drink?" I asked as I took the menus back.

"I'll have a green apple martini." The woman ordered.

"I'll have a-"

"Shirley temple." The man and I said at the same time. The woman glared at me.

"My guy friends always order that here too. I'll be right back with your drinks." I bowed and left. I went to the back and gave the order, then leaned down on the counter as I waited for the drinks to be made.

"What's wrong?" My co-worker asked.

"One of my customer's is a little uptight to her date, it's kind of rude." My co-worker stared at me then looked out to the tables.

"He's here?!" She exclaimed.

"Yeah." I sighed.

"You're okay?"

"Perfect. I'm getting tired though."

"You've been here since breakfast, of course you're tired, you workaholic."

"It's fun working here. The customers are usually great." I laughed.

"You're off soon though, so before you leave, I'll make sure I'll make your favourite drink." She winked and placed the two drinks on a tray.

"Thanks Joo." I smiled and walked off with the drinks.

"Here you are. The appetizer will be finished soon." I placed the drinks in front of the respective person and turned to leave. With a small sigh, I walked off to the kitchen.

"Geez, what's her problem?" The woman scoffed.

"Nothing is wrong with her, she's giving us good service."

"Sure doesn't seem like it. And how did she know what drink to get for you? Do you know her?"

"Of course not. She said that her guy friends order that drink."

"Whatever. She better be fast with the food. I'm so hungry."

"You have to be patient, I'm sure the chef's working his hardest. Besides, it was your choice to come here." Soon, you were back with their appetizer.

"Enjoy your appetizer." You smiled.

"Thank you." The man told you. With a nod, you left and went straight to the employee lounge to find another waiter in there.

"You're about to eat too?" You asked him.

"Yeah man, I'm starving. I didn't get a chance to eat lunch."

"You should have told me, I could have brought you back some food."

"Oh, you went out?"

"Yeah, Joo and I went to Lotteria."

"Did you have kimchi burgers?"

"You know it." You winked.

"Damn, I should have asked you guys. It was so hefty in here that I couldn't have a break." He sighed.

"It's okay, I'm sure our chef should be whipping up our favourite food."

"Bambi, your table's finished their appetizer." Joo called.

"Coming. I'll catch you later Snake. I'll join you to eat right after I serve my table."

"I'll wait for you. We get off at the same time anyway." You nodded and ran off.

"DId you enjoy the shrimp?" You asked the two.

"It was alright." The woman answered.

"It was excellent." The man smiled.

"That's fantastic. I'll be right back with your main courses. Would you like a refill on your drinks?" You asked as you placed the dish on the tray.

"No thank you, I'll settle for water."

"Yes please." The woman gave me her glass. You quickly left, put the dish in the bin and placed the main entries on on tray while you waited for Joo to make the drink again. You quickly went back to the table and gave them their food.

"Enjoy your meal and have a good night." You bowed and left. You slumped in the chair of the lounge in front of your other co-worker.

"Chef's right about done." He told you.

"Awesome." Soon, the chef came in with two dishes.

"A fire-grilled salmon for our lovely Bambi and a portobello mushroom chicken for our Snake. Enjoy the food you two, you deserve it."

"Thank you chef." You both smiled. He left and we got straight to eating. Half way through, Joo came in with a coke for Snake and a shirley temple for you.

"Eat up you lovebirds." She winked.

"Go drown Joo." You cursed.

"Just kidding." She laughed. "I'll catch up with you two tomorrow."

"Working late?" Snake asked her.

"Yeah, sadly." She waved and left. Snake and you quickly finished your food and hung up your aprons. You were about to grab your jacket when Snake did it for you.

"I'll carry it for you, let's go grab some ice cream." He smiled.

"I'm up for it." You laughed as you slung your bag across your chest.

"Have a good night everyone!" You and Snake told the working crew as the two of you left. As you walked to the entrance, you saw the couple you were serving.

"Have a good night." A co-worker at the poduim greeted.

"Yeah." The woman said.

"You too." The man replied. After they exited, you did as well.

"We are never coming back here. The service is so ." The woman growled.

"The service was amazing and the food was exceptional." The man protested.

"Never again, okay?" She said with a slightly raised voice. The man sighed.

"Can you buy a bottle of soju? I'll wait in the car."

"Fine." The girl kissed him on the cheek and ran off to the red sports car.

"Poor dude, having to put up with such a ." Snake said. You laughed quietly and slapped his arm.

"Baekhyun, that's so mean."

"What? It's true." He laughed. The man turned to you and stared.

"Oh , it's Jaehwan." Baekhyun quietly said, making the two of you stop your laughter. 

"Hey Jaehwan, what's up?" Baekhyun nervously asked. 

"Nothing much. I didn't know you worked with Jay worked together." He replied with a smile. 

"How have you been?" You asked. 

"Great. Yourself?"

"I could be better." You answered truthfully. Feeling the atmosphere, Jaehwan started having thoughts. 

*Are they dating? I didn't think he would have actually gone for her.*

"You should get going, before your date chews your head off." You lightly laughed. 

"I'll see you around." With a small wave, he was off. 

"Jaehwan's so into es. First you-"

"Yah, this happens to be the baddest and nicest you know." You and Baekhyun broke out into a loud laughter causing Jaehwan to look back. 

*Take care of her Baekhyun, or I'll kill you.* At that moment, you turned your head to meet eyes with Jaehwan. 

*I hope you're living well. I hope you don't miss me as much as I do, otherwise, we'd both go insane.* You gave him a smile and walked off with Baekhyun.
