So last weekend was kcon! (One of two excuses as to why I havent updated my story - the other being school. I swear I'm going to update!)

My friend and I made these shirts inspired by Sehun and Chanyeol.

Anyway, we ended up having to wait three hours to finally get in. Since I got VIP1 tickets, I got one guaranteed artist engagement and a chance at a red carpet access and a chance at audience session pass. I ended up getting a Dynamic Duo hi-touch ((THEY GIVE THE BEST HUGS AND ARE SO SWEET)), a red carpet access, but NO audience session. My friend ended up getting Exo! But since she came there to meet G Dragon and he ended up not having a fan meet, she gave it to me!

The rest of the day dragged on since there wasn't much to do. We mainly walked around trying to get free stuff, watching the talent competitions, watching the dance lessons, and watching the #mykpop panel. We wanted to check out the SM Town tent but the line was LOOOOOOONG and everything was $30+ so no thanks. Literally the only picture I took day 1 was

Day 2 was far more exciting. The entrance line was really fast and the first thing we did was scout the place for lines. A line gathered for Henry's panel which was more than five hours away but the guards quickly shooed everyone away because of a "fire hazard". One of my friends stayed there in case a line formed again while my other friend I went back to the Exo fan club booth for more free stuff.

On the way there, we walked close to the venue doors (which was covered up so you can't see inside) because of the shade and I suddenly imagined Baekhyun's voice. I made a joke that I was going crazy for my bias and quickly forgot about it. On our way back to our other friend, we saw her running toward us.

Turns out... another line DID form while we were away. More like a crowd. Because Exo could be heard rehearsing inside! They couldn't really hear them singing but they could hear Wolf's beat vibrating if you pressed your ears close enough to the glass doors. Which then brought me back to the Baekhyun thing- DID I JUST HEAR BAEKHYUN SING??? HE WAS LITERALLY A FEW FEET AWAY SINGING AND I WAS THE ONLY ONE IN THE WHOLE CONVENTION TO HEAR OMFG.

After that brief excitement, we took a break since we figured no lines were forming. But then I had this feeling and went to where the fanmeet entrance was to see a line. Besides the Teen Top line was...an Exo line. It wasn't for another four hours!!! I wasn't in the front but I was definitely not last nor in the middle because more and more girls came and the line grew longer.

I was depressed at first because I only got audience pass but it turns out NO ONE would get to meet Exo anyway. Teen Top was delayed so the fan signing wouldnt happen - they would just have to distribute pre-signed cards to those who won it and hi-touches were never offered.

While I waited in line, my friends and I took turns so I went out and saw Amber from f(x)'s sister and BtoB Peniel' sister so I asked for a picture

I went back to the line and some fans were doing their best to keep everyone organized. We had to be in single file and was told not to run otherwise no one would be allowed to see the boys. Even though I was closer to the front, I still ended up far away since the supposed fan-sign winners got their own barricade in the front.

In person for this special occasion, they were really caked with make up and everyone was the same height. They introduced themselves in English and were asked a few questions by the host. Mostly everyone spoke in engrish except for Lay who asked "can i speak chinese" and spoke that. They even sang a little like Chanyeol did a high note (omfg), Kyungsoo sang Catching Feelins, Baekhyun sang Superstar, and Kris rapped Nothin' On You while Chanyeol beat boxed. Chanyeol always said small English phrases in response to Kris who talked/translated a lot. They basically had their own mini conversations. Chen and Tao looked like they didn't want to be there but I think it's because they couldn't really hear the translations from the other side. The whole time I couldn't see Luhan because of someone's head but he and Kris reall stood out as the most extra better looking (does that make sense?) in person. I think the ones with the best pronounciation was Lay, Kyungsoo, Tao, and of course Kris. If you want to know more I suggest watching fancams because I myself forgot most of it except for the impressions they left on me. ((STEAKK!!))

 

Lay kept bowing and had to be lead down the stairs because the boys had already left.

After that I went to Henry's panel but it was PACKED. It was basically concert-sized so I left right after I sold my friend's red carpet access to someone. Cue endless walking, stalling, and eating until the red carpet time. I walked my friend outside and sHOCKER - a line formed for the concert already! We're VIP1 pit so it's first come first serve and the line was already football field long (or about) so I felt doomed and like absolute crap. Meanwhile my other friend ran into Henry while she finished in the portapotties lol.

Then while she waited, I went to the red carpet line which was ALSO long but when I walked to the end, the staff told us that this was not the official line and so I went to the official line and ended up being at the front! My other friend's friend from Tumblr joined us and she cut us in exchange for her letting us cut her friends who were in the front of the line for the concert. She was a photographer so she always somehow made it the front and she promised us that (yaaay!!)

On to the red carpet... they totally stalled. I was freaking out because they were letting people in to the venue and I still hadn't seen anyone I cared about. Some people even left to go line up for the concert so I ended up being in the front for the red carpet (but sadly there was yet another separete barricade at the front for all the press).

 

The boys went out for less than one minute ((as always Lay stayed behind I even got a picture of that)) and after finding a conveniantly located and empty ledge to take pictures of Henry from, we ran to the concert! Like literally ran down the ramp under ground to the pit, bumping into people. The guards wouldn't let me in because I wasn't present for the NEW wrist bands they handed out in line but I snuck pass those idiots. We ended up on the left of the catwalk, six or so people from the front. I found my new photogrpaher friend so I went with her. Somehow we ended up TWO people away from the front and more towards the end of the catwalk where they actually performed. When Exo performed 365, they went ALL OUT with their fan service. I received a lot of service from Kris, Lay, Tao, Sehun, Chanyeol and Chen. Sadly whenever Baekhyun would come it would be a fleeting moment. Luhan hardly came over sobs.

And then there's Baekhyun aka my ultimate bias who was far too hyper or I was just too nervous/shaky or a little bit of both that my pictures turned out like

But one time Xiumin came over that was gr8 too

But yeah that's it.

Now I'm suffering post concert depression and at one point even considered stopping being a fan of exo and kpop in general bUT THIS POST HAS HELPED A LOT.
