A birthday for other comes with a long time of preparation, while others choose to celebrate their life's anniversary just like ordinary days. They choose not to party nor  to celebrate with a bang. 

It may be everyone's dream to celebrate their birthdates even with just a simple get-together dinner. Some people are lucky to be with their family on that day while some are only hoping to be with them due to their job. Some also no matter how much they wanted their family to be them but it can't no longer happen because some members already went to heaven. 

For me, celebrating or not I'm glad to have my family always with me though I know time will come we'll be separating ways soon yet I choose to cherish every second I get to show my love and thankfulness to them. I had my last birthday party while I was stil in grade school. I also didn't have my debut celebration which dissapointed me a lot but I can't force my parents since I fully understand our situation. Today I turned 22, I know it isn't too late yet to give myself a chance to have a big celebration party. It doesn't matter at what age, more important is you're healthy and you treasure your life well. ;-)

Re-reading this post right now after 3 years, well I can say that in just a year after this post I started to celebrated my birthday with a bang again. In 2013, my friend and I went to Rainforest Park. In 2014, I went to a Bohol Tour w/the same friend I celebrated my bday in 2013, and on this year I flew miles away to celebrate it with a chicken and beer picnic in Hangang Bridge, Seoul, South Korea! :)

You know nothing in impossible, just learn to take chances and strive. Learn to be more patient not to rush time. Most importantly, dont forget to talk with Him.
