Background: Lee Sunyoung was born in Busan, South Korea, to a family of four. She took ballet at the age of four, but had to quit when they moved to Seoul at age 7. She got piano lessons from her aunt, who was a music teacher at a local school. She continued with this until she discovered that she was a pretty decent singer. She was allowed to take lessons and got to learn a lot of things. When she entered a talent show in ninth grade, she was spotted by a scout of Woollim Entertainment, who asked her to audition. She did so and was accepted. She never had any big dream of becoming an idol, but it was an exciting challenge for her and she was never one to back away from a challenge. Her parents divorced when she was 12, so she is currently living with her mother and older sister.

Personality : Daehyun is a soft-spoken, quiet guy; slow to snap but quick to react. If he’s not aimlessly wandering around, he’s probably just silently sticking to your side wherever you go. With this demeanor, he’s a person that does not speak unless spoken to, and always follows orders with no complaints. When Daehyun speaks, he has a habit of sounding quite rude, witty, and straightforward, but his expressions and actions usually give away his real emotions.
