Live Like You

Personality: Ai is a shy and quiet girl. Now, throw away the Mary-Sues, she's like a mute who's worry never fades away. Everyday, her eyebrows are always furrowed in nervousness. She's not scared, no, she's never afraid. No one understands why she's always worried. Some people even began to think her face is just stuck like that. But no, Ai is just always stressed, always worried, always tired, she never gets a break except for the sleep she needs. She appears as a mute, she never talks, whimpers, groans, nothing. People wonder what's up with her, and this causes her to be a strange and unusual person. Ai wishes she could speak, to explain what's going on with her, but she doesn't. She can't. Her voice is not gone, but she just simply finds it best to not let a word escape, because she's afraid she might reveal something she shouldn't. She always works hard, and pushes herself to her limit. She always cries silently every night because she wishes she could fit in. Ai may not be afraid of anything, but that doesn't mean she's brave either. When people call her useless, she breaks down crying right in front of them. She's a very weak and fragile girl. She's scarred from the visions of the future she sees, and it terrifies her like no other. That's the only thing that could cause her to faint; which she does almost once every week, or 2-4 times a month. 

Ai basically needs help, but she can't ask for one. She has no courage, or pride to do so. Yes, she's very awkward and weird, but there are times where her actions can surprise others too. For example: One day a person was about to be stabbed in the roof of a building, she would appear disguised behind the murderer's back and stab him. However, once the victim sighs of relief, she would immediately help them up, bandage whatever wound they have, then run away without a word. People says she's a myth, a person who never appears to a human's eye, unless someone's life is in danger. That example does not mean she's a hero. No, it means she was deeply worried of what the future would turn into if the case was brought up into the world, so she gets rid of it; but that doesn't mean she's a killer/obliterater either. She's like a caretaker no one asked for. She doesn't really have anything to do with life anyway. It's just she's always worried and hopes for things to get better. Since she can't find anything else to do with her life, she just helps to the last bit of her strength. An angel she may appear to you, but she's simply a so-called "mute" girl who never looks back, but forward, to the future, and whatever's in front of her.

She's that caring that people can't hate her for who she is, because she saved many lives right in front of their eyes.

- She always gets headaches, and if she ever is alone with literally no one around, she would whimper and actually make noise.

- She would barely change her worried expression. It could be shock, or it could be sadness, but the worried expression would always come back.

- She never utters a word, or releases a sound from her voice. If she were to be beaten, or injured, then yes, she would scream and whimper, but never say a word.

- Meeting someone who understands her, but that never happened. She hopes she could have a friend soon enough.

- When she doesn't have a headache, or a migraine, and everything is fine. It allows her to have some time for herself.

- When she saves a life, regarding her weakness, she can still cause something big to happen, so seeing she saved many innocent lives calms her heart a little, but never fully.

- When she doesn't get visions.

- Water, because she's been with living near the sea all her life.

Dislikes:

- Bugs, insects, mites, and any other creepy-crawlers out there that want to disturb her.

- Visions that are harmful and must be informed to people, yet she can't inform them directly because she doesn't have the heart to.

- Migraines and headaches that cause her to faint many times.

- Death, or a tragedy she could have helped, but failed to succeed in saving.

- Being alone, which she went through all her life until she entered the academy, and she still is, but some people pay attention to her a bit, and consider her sometimes, but even they find her useless because she never speaks.

- Taking walks in the afternoon, when the sun is setting.

-Taking painkillers to help with the migraines, but unfortunately, most of the time it doesn't help.

- Sketching out the visions she saw subconsciously.

- Fiddling with her fingers when she's nervous or when she's hiding something that she wishes she could reveal, but she can't.

- Sleeping like the dead at night, and always wakes up really early in the morning even if she sleeps really late at night.

- The future, whether it'll turn out good, or bad. She hopes for the initial.

- Tight places with no escape routes, where she gets suffocated.

- She appears mute, but is not one.

- She has musophobia, and arachnophobia. Not very strong, but if it's close, she will freak and scream like a little girl.

- She never had a true friend, or love in her life. Mainly because she had such a hard time in expressing her feelings, she just couldn't get anything right. Many pitied her, which she hates, because she pities them for their future.

Background: Ai was born in Qingdao, China, which is near the sea. However, she moved to Gunsan, Korea when she was quite young, perhaps around the ages 7-8. Gunsan, is also beside the sea, so she grew to love the sea. She found the sound of waves crashing and splashing against each other calming and peaceful. She especially loved sitting on the sand watching the waves when she gets headaches from visions she can't understand. They began coming to her randomly and in her dreams when she was 13, and at first they were short and blurry, but then they became clearer and longer. Now, during her childhood days, she actually spoke, laughed, joked, tell everyone her secrets, everything an innocent little kid would do. In fact, she was planning on telling her parents about her powers, but she got a vision where she if she told her parents, they would think she's a freak, and kicked her out of their household. By this, Ai got really scared, so she ended up keeping it to herself. The visions she got always came true, unless she did something to stop them. So since she didn't tell her family, she continued living with them. She didn't trust her life with them anymore, and grew quieter among the years as she thought about telling her friends too, but her visions told her that she would be bullied, left alone, and everybody would hate her.

The sad part was that one night, when they were having dinner, their parents were discussing about an incident that had happened at a different school where a student had lost control over his power, and accidentally almost killed his teacher with the shadows. They said that they were quite glad not to have a child with a power, or else their family reputation would be ruined. She was only 15 at the time. After that night, she never spoke again. She was afraid that she might spill something, and grew to keep all her things valuable. When she turned 18, she moved out and entered University of Korea, because she was great in all subjects, and it was a private school. She's still studying for another to complete her undergraduation (her lessons are only about psychology, philosophy, and sociology), but now she does other things in life. When she gets a vision about someone's life being in danger, she would save them by risking her own. Ai would help kids from getting severely injured, or hurt, whenever she was there. The only things she couldn't do was get involved with cases the police handles. She figures she should tell them, so at the age of 19, that's exactly what she did; she told the police through mail. Not directly, and straightforwardly, but she said that there would be some people robbing and bombing the bank, and if the police doesn't inspect the bank now, a couple lives will be taken, and a ransom might be held against a rich family empire. The police were shocked, and the media immediately learned about this "mysterious person". That's basically how she saves the lives the police wouldn't save. After she informs them through a secret mail, they would follow up, or if they ignore it, then she would go and save the victims herself. Weakly, but she manages.

When Ai turned 21, her family found out by her younger brother snooping through her stuff when her family decided to visit her. They thought she was a hero when they realized she was this "mysterious person" and spread it to the citizens. That was when people kept asking for readings and everything, they wouldn't stop bothering her. Her visions were actually something she couldn't control well, so with all the chaos, she fainted so many times from all the headaches, her health worsened. She blocked everyone from her life, except her family. That was when she received a letter from Phantom Academy about helping her fit in with everyone else there who had powers like her. It also included that she could continue her courses there, and learn how to control her visions at the same time. This gave Ai relief, and immediately joined while resigning from her university. Before she left, however, she learned her little brother had precognition too.

Personality: Suho is like a caring mother to his best friends, and he's really playful and positive. He always smiles and laughs at criticisms, insults, jokes, everything. He's a really positive and sweet person. He takes things in easily, and is very easy-going. He doesn't like it when people are violent or rude to each other, and he hates it when people especially kill each other. He wishes people who have no heart actually had one. He disapproves of bullying, and would practically befriend everyone. He's very hardworking, and gets along with even a cold person. He's very trustful, and keeps secrets well. He isn't loud, or talkative like his best friends, but he does talk a lot, laugh a lot, and whatever. He respects people's privacy, and has his manners. Suho likes making people happy by treating them for lunch, or buying them something they like. He likes helping people out, and always gives good advices to those who need it. He makes every girl's heart swoon from his angelic smile, and resembles a grandpa, which is why his nicknames are "Grandpa Suho" and "Umma Suho". When Suho's mad, and when he thinks fighting is necessary as a punishment, he's really scary, and is like a devil possessed him or something. He controls his powers well, and is known as the Prince of the Seas. Suho is also very observant. He immediately notices it when something's moving, or when someone isn't feeling right. Suho is also a very patient person, and isn't one to get mad easily. It'll take hurting his friends to get his demon side out.

How Do You Meet?: Ai was rushing to her next course, and when she finally reached class, she sat down in her seat and waited for class to begin. When it did, the teacher announced that they will have a project where they'd have to work with a partner. Ai was assigned with Suho, and that's how they met. Suho did all the talking and planning, because Ai wouldn't utter a word. So they had to interview people with different personalities. He was the one who talked while she recorded everything. She only researched and did her part while Suho did his. Suho realized she had no friends, so he decided to befriend her. She would smile sometimes, but he wants to hear her laugh and talk.
How Do You Treat Each Other?: Suho is always protective over her, and so very nice to her. He never gets jealous or ennvies someone, so other boys hitting on her isn't a problem to him. Ai never speaks to him, like she normally treats everyone. Only nods or shakes her head, and using hand motions (not sign language, just like pointing or body language I guess). Ai would always smile at him, and he would always smile at her. He never asked her to talk to him, he said that he'll wait until she thought he deserved it, or wanted to speak. He would always help her out, and she would always bow her head as a thank you. If she doesn't understand something, a blink would send the message. It was weird how Suho only speaks while she always listens. Ai seems so mysterious to everyone, but to be honest, no one asked about her family, or history, or anything, except Suho. So Suho found out by Ai writing it down in short terms. Ai immediately got awed when she learned his power was water. Her love for water just made her attracted to him even more. But Ai never got jealous of anyone. She doesn't envy people either. So girls hitting on Suho is not a problem. Suho and Ai always thought they would be friends, and stay as friends, even though they earned feelings for each other. Both of them were shy to confess, so they just stayed as really close best friends.

Comments: I know, Zhang Xinyuan is a Chinese model, but she looks ulzzang to me, and it fits her personality. Ne Rou is a Chinese ulzzang, but I think Xinyuan fits Ai's personality better. And Jonghyun, Ai younger brother, is not an idol. xD He's also an OC I made up, okay? xD
Suggestions: Well, I think a big case in Korea should pop up where Phantom Academy chooses 24 students to identify and solve the case. It sounds like a good idea to me!
Scene Requests: 

- Ai's mother and brother visit her in Phantom Academy one day, and that's the day Suho and the other students hear her talk for the first time. Ai  knows what happened to her father, because the day before, he had gotten into a car accident and died. Her mother seemed cold to her, blaming her that it was her, and Jonghyun's fault for his death. She pushed Jonghyun to Ai's side, and slapped Ai. She was going to slap Jonghyun next, but Ai held her wrist with a glare. She spoke then and there, saying that she was a pathetic example of a mother. She claimed that no mother would call their children a freak and kick them out of their home. She started calling her "Na Young-ssi" but not mother, and said she wasn't her or Jonghyun's mother anymore. Ai stated that she was glad Jonghyun was joing Phantom Academy, because that way he wouldn't have to live with a woman who hates her children that did nothing wrong. She reasoned that her phone had been thrown out the window the day before, early in the morning, and so she could only email Na Young of the soon-to-be accident that happened later in the afternoon. She said Jonghyun's still young, and that it's not his fault for not getting the vision since he can't control his visions. After that, Ai slungs her shoulder around Jonghyun, and then told her mother to leave, and that Na Young was the freak herself. After that, she never spoke to Na Young again. That's the same day Jonghyun hugs Ai tightly, and she tells him everything will be alright. Suho pats her back in assurance as well, and introduces himself and the rest of EXO to Jonghyun, where everyone gets shocked how the syblings have opposite personalities.
