Okay, so yesterday, I thought I was having a miscarriage. I began bleeding and cramping and I swore I was going to lose my baby, but the ultrasound proved otherwise. Other than the ultrasound...I'm pretty disappointed in the Trinity Hospital here in Minot. I pretty much waited for over 5 hours, to get no results as to why I bled so much and why I was, and still am cramping. Whatever. I really don't want to have my baby here, I've heard horror stories from other moms about the maternity unit here. My sister-in-law was threatened that if she didn't push the baby out before the nurse was to go on lunch, they would make her have a C-section and make sure she wouldn't have any more kids...I'm sorry, but if anyone threatened me like that, I'd hit them and tell them to get out. I've done it nurses before. Well...maybe not hit them, but told them to get the *bleep* out.

So today is my first prenatal appointment and I'm excited. Hopefully I will get an answer as to why I was bleeding so heavily and cramping. I'm just glad my baby's okay for the time-being.

I will get around to writing my stories in a few weeks. I want to be out of the first trimester and done with the morning sickness, fatigue...and all the other ails that comes with a new pregnancy.

Update: Well my doctor figured out what was the issue with my sudden bleeding and cramping. Turns out I had a harmless hematoma (blood blister) underneath the placenta and burst with the sudden movement of getting up. My obgyn will continue to monitor me and give me an ultrasound next time I go in which is Sept. 16th.
