Personality : Due to appearance, people think she's icy and incoherent, which at first is true, she can be blunt but also quiet. Even if she is the quie, sarcastic girl, she always loves a good laugh. She rarely shows her warm side cause she hates getting close to someone that she's going to end up loosing. Jiyeon isn't the social type and prefers to have a very small group of friends. If you break her defensive wall, she's actually pretty outgoing and funny. But, if you don't, she will remain lifeless and only attentive with her dancing. If you leave a good impression, she'll maybe try to be friends with you but don't count on it.
Onstage, she shows a fierce yet cute side to her, something she can never do in real life. In school, she's the silent brainiac most people ignore. Background :Jiyeon was born in the US but quickly left at the age of 8. Jiyeon grew up with a broken family, her mother left Jiyeon when she was a teenager. While growing up, Jiyeon was a bright and bubbly child, carefree and unaware of problems. Also, as Jiyeon was growing up, Jaehwa, her mother was a dance coach. Jiyeon always had a burning passion for dancing because of her mother and because it made her feel unique. Jiyeon and Jaehwa always danced together, ballet, jazz what ever it was, they danced together. Soon, Jiyeon attended classes most of which being freestyle and ballet. Wherever she went, she danced. On the street, in her room or in the hallways at school , she was always dancing.
When Jiyeon came home from dance class at the age of 13, her father had informed her that her mother decided to leave them. Her world stopped. Literally. She stopped attending her dances and just sat around blankly staring at nothing. Soon, that firery passion she felt for dance was put out and everything good was yanked from her. Jiyeon's cousin Hyoyeon, yes the SNSD member, was there for her even if Jiyeon ignored her hospitality, Hyoyeon was always there. Thankfully, Hyoyeon was the one to start up the passion that Jiyeon had for dancing, Hyoyeon managed to trick Jiyeon into going to a TS ENT. Audition. Jiyeon was quite angry but there was no turning back. Even if Jiyeon's singing or rapping wasn't all that great, her dancing was mind blowing. Finally, the one who suffered the most, had her big break. That is until Sunhwa of Secret always picked on Jiyeon during Jiyeon's trainee days always bringing her down emotionally. Jiyeon couldn't take it and Hyoyeon bing the life saver landed Jiyeon a spot in SM.

How you interact : Jiyeon minds her own business but Sunhwa always bugs her saying that her dancing or singing isn't correct. Sunhwa has always something mean to say and Jiyeon does her best to ignore her. They ignore eachother but talk behind eachother's back when they aren't with eachother.
Why are you rival : Sunhwa saw Zelo and Jiyeon talking instead of practicing and that's when Sunhwa determined she did not like Jiyeon.
