I looked at the man staring at me with fear in his eyes as he crawled backwards. It made me excited. I slowly walked towards him, my heels clacking against the concrete. 

"P-Please... spare my life! I have done nothing wrong!" The man begged.

"What makes you think I would spare you? Done nothing wrong? You've killed the lives of many innocent people." I slyly said as he bumped into the wall.

"As if you don't do that!" I kicked his face.

"Just shut up and tell me where you've kept him captive."

"I will never tell a monster like you." I smirked and easily picked him up by the throat with one hand.

"Last chance." Suddenly, I heard a gun go off and I dropped the man. I turned my head to where the shot came from.

"Step away from that man right now." A deep man's voice said. He stepped into the light with the gun pointing at me.

"That stung a little. How rude of you to shoot a woman." I snickered as the wound healed on my upper arm.

"What's this? You can heal?!"

"Of course I can, stupid human." I smirked and turned to him.

"Don't come any closer! I'll shoot!"

"How cute. It won't kill me." He sighed and lowered his gun.

"Good boy." I stretched my arm to the frightened man, squeezed his neck tight enough to kill him and threw him behind me. The man in front of me winced when the body landed in a far corner of the room. I hopped onto the stone table behind me and sat down with my left leg crossed over the other.

"So... I hear that you're more of a night creature, is that right?"

"Precisely. As somewhat painful as it is in the sun, I won't die from it. I'm one of the top 10. I'm strong enough to survive days and days in the sun. It pretty much doesn't affect me."

"Interesting. You're not a being of this planet, are you?" 

"How insulting, you think of me as an alien. I'm from this planet. Just... not this part." I answered and swung my legs. After a pause, he spoke up again.

"Why haven't you attempted to kill me yet?"

"Why? Is that what you would like? To die?" I stretched my right arm out, grabbed him by the throat and brought him over. I let go of him and he stood right in front of me.

"Of course I don't want to die. From what I've heard, you kill anyone you see." He coughed.

"Who the hell has the nerve to say that?! This is why I hate so many of you damn humans. I do not kill everyone."

"And who do you not kill?"

"Those not involved, or children even if they are involved."

"Quite generous... That still doesn't explain why you haven't killed me yet. I am involved-" I pulled him onto the table amd pinned him down.

"You really want me to kill you, don't you?" I quietly asked.

"No."

"Then stop suggesting it, otherwise I won't hesitate to kill you." I got off the table and picked up the dead body.

"Here." I called out.

"What?" The man sitting on the table asked with an alarmed expression. I threw the body up and my hybrid wolf leaped up and engulfed it. It went to a corner to eat in peace.

"Is that a w-wolf?!" The man asked, pointing at the wolf.

"Of course it is. What did you think?"

"It's appearance... It's not like any other wolves."

"A white wolf with red eyes... Isn't he a beauty?" I asked and the fur of the wolf when he finished eating. He turned around and faced the man. I hugged him and whispered to not attack.

"He can't.... transform into a human, can he?"

"Not here, no. Lucky for me, I'm usually here anyway so it's harder to fall for him." I turned to the wolf who nuzzled his head against mine.

"How cute, are you two mates?" I stood up and dusted my dress off.

"He wishes." The wolf snarled at me. "Technically, I am. Sheesh, so possesive."

"He's going to kill me, isn't he?"

"No, no. I don't want you dead. You can be very useful to me." I smirked and cupped his face. The wolf growled.

*Calm down, you can eat him when I'm finished with him.* I mentally told the wolf.

"I know you're involved with the Dragons. I want you to collect all of the information they have about... The Night."

"Th-The Night?! That's impossible! Not even the general's right hand gets his hands on it!"

"That's because the right hand isn't involved. He has no say because the general is sacrificing him to us to see the result. Of course, we'll just kill him."

"Then how do you expect me to gather that information?!"

"I trust you." I smiled before kissing him. Moments after I pulled away and backed off.

"What-"

"I trust you, whatever your name is. If you refuse to work with me, well, my little wolf here will just come for you. Remember, I have eyes all over the city, so don't do anything stupid and say that you're working with me. Good luck~ I'll be back soon." I grinned. I punched the wall hard to open up a black portal.

"HEY WAIT! I DIDN'T GET YOUR NAME!"

"Sage." I smiled before going in with the wolf. Within seconds, we were in The Night. I rotated my neck, allowing it to crack several times as the wolf changed into his human form. I looked around for any other clans and fell onto the floor. I lay on my back and closed my eyes.

 

"I love how forward you are, but was that necessary with a human?" The wolf asked. I opened my eyes and he climbed on top of me. I snickered and held his face with my hands.

"Sorry. That was my only way of convincing him."

"And what makes you think he'll listen to you?" I pulled him down to kiss him.

"Didn't you listen to me for that one small favour when we first met?" I smiled. He rolled his eyes.

"Do you always kiss people?"

"Only when I'm desperate."

"And exactly how many times is that?"

"That one time today... and whenever I need you." He smiled and kissed me again.

"Damn, I'm lucky that you're mine." He whispered.
