This Exo crap pisses me off...

I'm a fan of many groups but this exo stuff is ridiculous. I hate how everyone has this image of exo fans as "Mean" or "bratty" or "crazy".

HELLO all fandoms have their extremists. I love exo and I'm not some kind of mean girl that thinks my group is better than all of those out there

and acting like "i'm holy-er than thou".

 

In fact, it feels like everyone is taking a turn at trashing this fandom. I am a normal fan!

I watch their variety shows, oogle at new pictures, and write fanfiction. I in no way have caused harm or done anything wrong because

I stan exo. However, I feel like if i admit to someone that I am an exo fan, people get this idea of me being this horrible disgraceful

rude monster.

 

Well excuse me!, but last time i checked all groups have their bad apples but no one generalizes them because of those

bad people! No one looks at an inspirit or a beauty or A+ or whoever you stan and immediately get this horrifying image that most exo fans do.

We have normal people too. We stan them normally too. So quit jabbing at all of us like we are all some sort of convicts. It is hurtful as a regular

fan too y'know? But everyone is so quick to generalize and ostracize that no one takes a step back and thinks "well some of these people are

innocent standbyers and shouldn't be victimized just because of a group they like."

 

This is all so irritating...

It's sad coz the sane ones are pretty quiet and the rotten apples are so loud. The fandom has sasaengs that are at par with DBSK's Privates which is the worst of their kind and EXO has only debuted last year. Then the fandom also have a huge number of immature kids, too sensitive enough to overreact on a troll's comment or believe a rumor. If it's not announced via EXO's official site or fb page, then it is not confirmed. They also get themselves into fanwars that the rest of the fandom had to deal with. Let's not forget the obsessive, delusional fangirls who think they own oppa. They are not sasaengs, but if given the chance to go to Seoul, they might turn into one. A large number of the fandom are like this, making it easy for antis to use it against the fandom. That's why the fandom is blamed for things that aren't really true. The scapegoats. And being a large, diverse group ... it really is hard to paint a good image what with the majority of the fandom annoying the public. Sigh. It's unfair for people to generalize but the fandom isn't really doing anything to change it. Fans are not responsible for what the others do... but it is already causing harm. I read that article where EXO talked about their sasaengs. Poor D.O.
