  ★What´s INSIDE.

           » Personality: Hanbi is a quiet person when you meet her for the first time. She has a calming aura to her that makes people want to know her, but when they start to talk to her, they realize that she is a girl of a few words which makes them slightly uncomfortable. Generally when she talks, Hanbi likes to get straight to the point rather than go about in circles. Most people call her blunt for this, but not in a rude way.  Hanbi tries very hard to make her words as polite as possible especially around more sensitive people which makes her talk in a formal way even to babies which makes people think she's a little weird. 

Hanbi is a good person to go to for advice because she tries to give a fair and unbiased opinion. She generally keeps a level head even when things are going wrong and because of this some people think she is the leader of the group which she hates because Hanbi honestly thinks she isn't made out to be leader, merely an assistant when things get out of hand by helping out. Even though she willing to help others, she hates when others help her with her problems because she doesn't want to get troubled by the problems that she can handle herself.

Hanbi is usually going with the flow and usually seen in the background comforting other members when they get depressed or when they trying to seek attention. When on camera, she tends to look a little lost or have a blank look on her face, but that doesn't stop her from clapping along when she needs to.  She can be a bit awkward when it comes to variety shows. She is bit of a clean freak, so when she sees the dorm dirty, she will often go out of her way to clean and nag a little if something is too dirty. Like any umma, Hanbi is extremely scary when she gets angry and it makes even the most emotionless members cower in fear. Even though she doesn't lose her temper too much, it does happen.

When it comes to music, Hanbi is fully invested into it to the point, she is called an perfectionist. She tries her hardest to make sure that when she goes on stage for a live, she is fully ready to give the best performance. She hates making mistakes and will become rather depressed when she misses a note or forgets a dance step before going off the practice. She is extremely passionate when it comes to singing and music in general. Other than that, she is a bit competitive especially when it comes to things that she knows she is a good at or when someone directly challenges her. She isn't very experienced in love and will become very confused when someone flirts with her because she doesn't get it.

                             ★The PAST.

                                     » Background: Hanbi was born in Incheon as the youngest child of the Ahn family. She mostly had a regular life and mostly in her childhood, she often tagged along with her brother. Her brother who was the loud to Hanbi's shyness, was the one who introduced her to music. He was a mischievous child and tended to drag her into big problems such as the kitchen incident where he burned his finger on the stove. Whenever Hanbi cried, her brother was always there to sing her children's song which always made her feel better. Soon enough, she loved the songs so much, she started singing them with him making her interest in music grow.

Her parents noticing her love for music, signed young Hanbi up for music classes where she learned to play the piano. She opened up a little and soon started making her own small group of friends. When Hanbi finished elementary, she knew that she wanted to do music as a future and constant thing, so she asked her parents to sign her up for a music school. Even though her parents didn't agree with it at first because they didn't think it was a practical, they decided to let her because they never seen her so passionate about something before.

Hanbi wasn't the best student at first, but soon grew to become a part of the  Top 10 in her class. Seeing her love for music grow day by day, her older brother told her about auditioning for companies. At first Hanbi wasn't sure about the whole thing, but decided to give it a shot. Starting when she was 15, she with permission from her parents, went to Seoul with her older brother and started auditioning for various companies where she became friends with Youngjae at one point. She tried for two years until she was 17, when SM decided to accept her.
