He is cheerful and has a positive way of thinking. He loves adventures and drags his older twin along whenever he wants to do something exciting. [Though his brother also loves adventures] He generally loves eating spicy food and ironical to his attitude, he doesn’t like sweet foods.

He doesn’t easily cry but whenever his twin brother is hurt in any way [emotionally or physically], he feels for him as well. He laughs the loudest at corny jokes especially when it’s his brother who makes them.

He loves eating the food his brother cooks and he in return, makes artworks for his brother. He jumps up and down like a kid whenever he is told “Good job” or “You did good today” and runs around shouting like he won the lottery.

He is not the total opposite of his twin brother but at some points, they differ a lot. He has the sweet tooth while his brother craves for the spicy food. He stands as the one responsible whenever Minwoo gets into trouble and he takes the blame.

He doesn’t socialize much but because of their REALLY IDENTICAL looks, they sometimes mistaken him for Minwoo so he gets to talk to idols and be friends with them. [Of course he tells them he’s not Minwoo though.]

Both of them love playing “Who’s Who?” game and they love seeing the other members’ eyebrows cringe in confusion.

The words he loves to hear most are “Take care of yourself” and “Don’t tire yourself too much.” He always wants to hear the from people he loves most.

Family

Background: Their family background is a bit of a sensitive. They were adopted and up to date; they haven’t found their real parents. They were raised like they were really part of the family and with that, they [he and his hyung] are very much thankful.

However now, the only people they have with them are each other and their little sister because the family that adopted them died in an unfortunate fire where no one survived. Their foster parents along with their 2 other children. [One boy and one girl]

They weren’t in the house because they were playing outside the house at that time along with their little sister. She was the maknae of the family. Sometimes, his hyung [Shinwoo] blames himself for the accident because he could’ve prevented the fire from spreading if only he was inside the house. [Everyone was asleep at that time.]

Parents: Unknown. Their real parents are still alive though. But they don’t know where to start looking for them. [He, Shinwoo doesn’t want to look for them anymore however his hyung wants to look for them still.]

Siblings:

Han Shinwoo [17] - Minwoo’s older hyung whom he loves so much and would give even his life for. He is his other half. He wants to never be apart from his brother and wishes that they even marry at the same time. [Double wedding]

Han Minwoo [17] - Shinwoo’s beloved dongsaeng who is one of his weaknesses. He and Jihwa are the only ones who can make Shinwoo’s heart melt just like that. He feels unsecure when he’s away from Minwoo thus he wants to always be with him. Though Minwoo doesn’t like staying in the same bed with him ‘cause he bites.

Han JiHwa [15] - She is their precious princess that they are willing to die for. They do not allow anyone to hurt her and would totally heat up like erupting volcanoes when they find out someone had injured her in any way possible. She is the only family they have left.

What did your family say after they found out that SM worked you nearly to death?

: Since their family died when they were only 12 years old, there really wasn’t any interference from them. When their family died, they inherited all their possessions which cost hundreds and thousands of billions in dollars. [Which means they’re really rich]

They used the money for their education and eventually, they [him and his hyung] that they should start looking for a job to be able to maintain their support for Jihwa ‘cause they know the money will not be enough to support her needs and wants.

Other things I have to know about your family?

: Basically, their [him and his hyung] world revolves around each other, their co-members and Jihwa. Though sometimes, his hyung opens up the topic about trying to look for their parents, he coldly avoids it and his mood would suddenly drop.

Training

Background: Both Minwoo and Shinwoo suffered a lot during training since they would always be teased and bullied by the choreographers and mentors for not being able to follow the steps properly and not getting the notes right.

That is why Minwoo strived hard on becoming the best dancer he could be and Shinwoo trained harder on his singing skills. This brought about the emergence of their now well-polished talents.

They were both deprived the love of a family at a young age so they weren’t really under the supervision of anyone who was older than them. They stood as their own parents for the sake of Jihwa and their selves.

When they went to audition, the only thing they had in mind was Jihwa and their future.

Before Audition:

Before audition, they were both thinking hard on how to handle the money that was left with them. and with the help of a few friends, [those who are older than them since they were only 12] they managed to handle the businesses well. They were both left to run the companies but thanks to some connections, they got to hire people to run the companies for a while and later on, they will be passed on to Jihwa's name.

How Long where you trainee?: Both were trainees for 2 years

SM Case

What do you think of SM after you left?

: Minwoo used to think that SM was the best place to be and he was really excited to join in but when he started his training, he instantly hated them. He is like a kid who is easily disappointed especially when he feels like people around him are being too much and uncaring and over-the-top.

: Shinwoo only agreed to audition because Minwoo asked him to. He originally just wanted to stay home and take care of Jihwa and go to school like a normal kid but eventually realized the responsibilities he had on hand. When they left SM, he knew already that the company was not a good one. He knew that it was not really a company that values their idols but a factory that treats their idols like products and turns them into perfection bu when they’re defective, they throw them away.

What did you do in this one year until you and your band went to a different Entertainment?

: Minwoo and Shinwoo took Jihwa on a tour around the world. But they practically stayed longer in Japan because Jihwa’s favorite boy groups, KAT-TUN and Arashi are from Japan and they had to bear with her fangirling and had to go with her on concerts and buy her concert goods.

How do you feel about performing with the other members again?

: Minwoo is always the one who is very excited whenever they perform together and he was the most affected when they heard they would stop performing together as a group. Shinwoo had to tell cheer him up for a month [which is a rare case. Shinwoo NEVER cheers anyone up.] So when he heard that he’d perform with the other members again, he lightened and brightened up in a snap.

: Shinwoo also was glad to hear they were performing again. He just had to sing again on stage and there was no way that he was doing it alone or with his twin only. He really has this family-like feeling whenever he’s with the group which brings warmth to his heart. Seeing the group complete makes him feel so light and calm and peaceful. Though they’re a bit out-of-order at times. xD

Lover: Kim Kibum of Super Junior loves to . ;) [You know what I’m sayin’]

Ex-lover: He used to date Sulli but he just wasn’t into the aegyo thing anymore. She was becoming too… aegyo-istic.
