background. gayeon came from a normal family -- not so rich, yet not so poor. eversince she was little, she's always got all the attention she needs from her parents. that is, until her little brother is born. he was born when she was nine years old, and she lost almost all the attention she used to have. because of this, she hated her little brother and swears that she will not forgive him at all. however, as time passes, she started to get along with her brother and as she became older, she learnt to love her brother more and more.

on the day of gayeon's 19th birthday, her father had to be sent to the hospital because of cancer. because of this, her mother had to work hard each day to pay his hospital fees and to feed her children. being the good daughter she is, gayeon decided to find a job to help her mom. when she found out about paradise resort, she was more than happy because she thought she would fit perfectly there. with the thought of her parents and her brother in mind, she works hard everyday without even a single complain.

personality. baek gayeon used to be that weirdo everyone tries to avoid in high school. she acts as if she's close with everyone, and always tries to fish attention from others. once you get close to her, she'll start clinging onto you and not letting you get away from her. the amount of people that succeeded in getting away from her is zero -- which is why nobody really wants to befriend her in the first place. eventhough many people try to avoid her and call her a weirdo in front of her face, she just laughs it off. no, it's not that she doesn't care -- the thing is, she doesn't even realize that they're hating on her. she takes their insults as friendly jokes and eventually tries to get to know them even more.

she's the kind of girl that can easily be ordered around, and people often take advantage of her because of this. and she happily obeys what other people say, without even realizing that they're taking advantage of her. so don't be surprised if you see her doing things that she's not actually supposed to do. she always tries to do her best on everything she does -- mostly because she wants to impress others, resulting in a good outcome in almost anything. she also gets jealous pretty easily -- she hates it when someone else 'steals' the attention she has.

why do you want to work at the Paradise Resort? 

i need the money, and i thought i would fit this place perfectly!

which section of the resort do you want to work in and why? 

the theme park; because i've always loved theme parks! i think they're just really fun and amusing. and the hotel; i don't know, i guess hotels are just interesting to me. i've always wanted to work at a hotel, too!

what job positions interest you?

ride operator, guest service, or.. housekeeper, i guess? 

what is your specialty?

well, umm.. i don't do much, to be honest. but i'm quite a hard worker and i try to do well on everything i do. at home, i'm usually the one responsible with chores. i hate seeing messy stuffs all over the place. and also, i love making other people happy; so i really would love the ride operator job! seeing their happy faces and all.. i would be really happy! 

what kind of people do you work the best with? the worst with?

umm, i'm not sure. i think i can get along with everyone, though! but personally, i like working with people that are hard-workers. it's not that i'm lazy, but i always feel the need to work harder when everyone around me works hard, too.

history. it was gayeon's first day at work, and she was just taking a look around the resort when she bumped into junmyeon. she quickly apologized, and said that she would do anything so that he forgives her. he told her to help him with his cashier bussiness. however, she's not good at it and she messes up quite a lot. he gets even more mad at her for messing up.

relationship. because of the incident, gayeon feels really guilty and keeps trying to apologize to him. she would do anything for him to forgive her, and he makes her do many things. but one day, he finally feels guilty for making her do many things, especially after seeing her being ordered around by other people. he tells her he's sorry and eversince then they became good friends. everytime someone tries to order her around, he would stand up for her and tell them that they should stop taking advantage of her. she told him that it's okay, and that they're not taking advantage of her. but he doesn't think so, and he still stands up for her no matter what -- trying to take a good care of her no matter what.
