after being born in gongju, south korea in the year 1993, ahyeon moved to france at the age of one. the reason being, her father got himself a job in paris as a doctor. growing up in paris, she started to forget her korean. though she still hears her parents speaking korean quite often, she usually stutters as she speaks. she came back to korea at the age of 16, struggling to adapt into the new environment.

goo ahyeon, the dreamer who is deeply obsessed with fairytales. she is the kind of girl who doesn't talk about boys or fashion with her friends- instead, she talks about fairies, princesses, and unicorns. eventhough she clearly knows that her stories are boring to her friends, she just keeps on going on and on about those fairytales she watched on tv when she was little. not only in the real world, even in her sleep, she dreams about riding unicorns and spreading fairy dust all around the country. she likes to daydream about becoming a princess and marrying prince charming, or maybe cooking for seven little dwarfs. whatever it is, her obsession for fairytales is just unstoppable. she collects unicorn dolls, princesses' barbies, and anything else that has to do with fairytales.
no matter how many times people try to tell her that those fairytales aren't real, she still doesn't care. yes, she does know they don't exist and all, but she likes to dream about them and imagine herself being a part of that world. maybe because she's been obsessed with fairytales all her life, she tries to act like a princess eversince she was little. this affects her personality quite positively, in which she becomes a warmhearted girl, who can't stand seeing other people suffer. she always tries to help everyone around her, and puts other people's problems before her own. she cannot get mad, not ever. because princesses don't get angry at people, as she says. she hates seeing other people sad, and she'll cry too if she sees someone else crying.
however, not all of the princesses' personalities go to her, because she's still an irresponsible kid until this exact moment. when she's told to do something, sometimes she simply doesn't do it just because she's too 'busy' daydreaming about her fairytale stories. with peterpan being one of her favorite stories, she finds it fine to be irresponsible at times, because 'why not just have fun during your childhood?' she's also really energetic- well, too energetic sometimes. no one knows where she gets all her energy from, but she just never seems to get tired at all. maybe some kind of fairy used a magic trick on her or something- hey, who knows, right? because she can actually jump around here and there for a full hour and not get tired, even a little bit. scary, eh? however, on stage, ahyeon is not as childish as she would be backstage. she still talks a lot about fairytales in variety shows, but she doesn't seem as obsessed, thankfully.
