appearance: harumi has a black, wavy hair that goes down to her waist. she has side bangs that she actually dislikes. she is 168cm tall and weights 50kg, giving her a slim look. she has thin lips and fair skin, and she's also got some dark circles under her small eyes. 

style: harumi's the kind of girl that doesn't dress to impress. she likes wearing anything that's comfortable for her -- things like jeans and t-shirts, along with a pair of sneakers. it's just for work anyway, it's not like anyone's gonna pay attention to the way she dresses.  she dislikes her side bangs, so she usually just pulls them back with a hairpin. since her long hair can get pretty disturbing while she's working, she likes to tie it up into a high ponytail, or sometimes messily roll it up into a bun if it gets too annoying.

personality: never has anything great achieved without danger. that was jung harumi's life motto -- and she sure does hold on strongly to that motto of hers. she is never scared of taking risks, and she never lets anyone get on her way. any chances that come to her, she takes it no matter how risky it is. she is also very straightforward -- too straightforward, if i must say. she says anything that pops up in her mind, even if it can really hurt other people. 

ofcourse, many people dislike her and talk trash about her, but she doesn't care at all. she really hates losing in an argument -- any kinds of argument. even if she already knows she's wrong, she doesn't want to admit it, no matter what. also, she is really impatient -- she can't stand it when people are slow in understanding. however, she's secretly very caring aswell. although she never says it, she always feels really guilty whenever she hurts someone.

background: harumi's father was korean and her mother was japanese. she was born in ulsan, south korea -- her father's hometown. when she was two years old, her father passed away and she had to move to japan with her mother. they lived in her grandparents' house in saitama, japan together with her mother's siblings and their children. because she was in japan, she never spoke korean anymore, and just like she forgot her korean. her mother still made her learn korean, because it's also her mother language, but she didn't have anyone to talk to in korean.

as soon as harumi graduated from university, her mother passed away. she was sad, of course, but she tried not to show it. because she doesn't want to be troublesome to her grandparents, she decided to go back to korea and get a job there. when she first came, she never thought that being away from home would be this bad, but turns out it really is. she wanted to come back to japan, but she knew she couldn't come back just yet, now that she already came this far. eventhough it's hard, she decided to continue on what she's currently doing.

↷ choi hyeju | 21 | loyal, patient, clumsy, unpredictable | hyeju was harumi's friend in middle school who moved to japan from korea because her father had work to do there. she was the first person that harumi ever actually approached first, because harumi wanted to know someone from korea too. but then, hyeju went back to korea when they almost graduated middle school -- however, they still keep in touch with each other. when harumi decided to go to korea, hyeju was the first person she told about it.

personality: lee sungyeol's totally the kind of guy that harumi hates. he is unbelievably slow in everything he does. and by unbelievably, i mean unbelievably slow. although he is, he tries his best on everything he does, and he sure does do great. he is a hard-worker, and he doesn't give up easily on whatever it is he's doing. he often tries to get attention from other people, and he never realizes that he annoys them sometimes.

first meeting: it was harumi's first day of work. she was just looking around, when sungyeol suddenly approaches her. as he said hello and smiled widely at her, all she did was roll her eyes and walked past him. but no, he wasn't mad or offended. instead, he got curious about the girl.

relationship: sungyeol and harumi turns out to have the same job at the shop. because of his slowness, sungyeol tends to ask many questions to harumi -- which makes him look more like the newbie than her, eh? she gets annoyed, of course, and gets mad at him pretty often. but apparently, because of her bad korean, she frequently makes mistakes as she speaks. sungyeol always ( innocently xD ) corrects her mistakes, and ofcourse, she gets even more mad at him. and one more thing -- he always mispronounces her name as hareumi, and she always gets mad because of that.

why do you want to work here?

i've always adored wedding dresses -- they are just really beautiful. my mom used to work as a wedding planner, and so i went to many weddings with her and saw many wedding dresses. eversince then, my dream was to make wedding dresses when i grow up.

what do you want to work as?

bead specialists; but if i can't, i'd choose to be an embroider.

what are you good at?

well, i'm used to watch my mom's co-workers sewing up beads, and they even taught me how to do it! i often to do it at home, too. i'm pretty thorough with the things i do aswell.

are you going to live here too?

no, i'm not; i'm renting an apartment not so far away from here. but whenever i have to, i wouldn't mind staying here.

what do you think of your boss?

i honestly don't like his attitude. he annoys me at times; and i'm sure he annoys the others too. he needs to calm down a bit, seriously. i know he's tired and all, but being tired doesn't mean that you can do anything as you please -- even if you're the boss.

scene suggestions: 

↷ a scene where harumi confronts myungsoo for his attitude. xD

↷ harumi getting totally mad at sungyeol, and then apologizing as soon as she calms down. she doesn't usually apologize for anything, btw. and then sungyeol getting surprised at her apologizing.

↷ sungyeol keeps following harumi, babbling nonsense to get her attention. and then he says that her name is too hard to pronounce, and so that she doesn't get mad because he mispronounces her name again, he gave her the nickname jungmi.

↷ namiko comes to visit harumi in korea, and she sees sungyeol keeps trying to fish attention from harumi. she teases harumi for having a boyfriend -- in which she doesn't. she tries to deny it and sungyeol's curious about what they're talking about ( they're speaking in japanese )
