[Fan Account] KFEST Manila (UPDATED!)

Intro
— I've been attending this event snce its first official convention and I was not disappointed with any conventions they produced. To be honest, I was a little disappointed today but more over, I feel so freaking happy in exchange. I really have a lot to explain and to rant about. So... keep on reading if you want to know! I will also explain what happened regarding the CANCELATION of the event. :)

Meeting my friends accidentaly
— I was too busy running around, TBH. I was the one responsible for a friend of mine's looks for her cosplay. I didn't have any time entertaining those who keeps on calling for my name and those who pokes me (I'm really sorry). But in the end of the day, I got to cheer for my friends who performed. I even got my friends' numbers (I recently lost my sim card). I was too overwhelmed when they all said that they missed me. I was missing out and they keep on telling me to hang out with them, though I really can't. I even took a picture with some of my friends! Photos keeps memories FRESH. I've always wanted to take a picture with all of them!

Messed up schedule
— Supposedly, I am gonna run for errands and gonna get stuck in front of the crowd. But it turned out that I became a crowd-staff. you guys know what I mean? No? I've been telling everyone to MOVE but they wouldn't. I was too mad. My face was smashing the barricades and I cannot breathe anymore. There were Korean kids there and my group (I think) was the only one who could speak korean. Actually, I can say that the Koreans was too freaken'-scared because they kept on saying "musowo" a lot. They're like 12-14 years old (the two girls were 14, IDK about the other two).

When we left our place (because of the cancelled event) we roamed around. I thought everything's gonna be normal... but then a woman poked me at my shoulder and kept on asking if I am _____'s girlfriend. I kept on telling them "not". I was mad, to be honest. I couldn't do what I need to. I was also looking for a friend that time. ._.

KFEST cancelation of EVENT
— Unfortunately, something bad happened. Actually, REALLY BAD. I also did not expect that kind of chaos. There was a stampede outside the venue because KFEST (officially)announced that the tickets were SOLD OUT and they could not do anything about it (they also announced that the tickets would be limited so they better grab their tickets fast).

They had to cancel the event because a lot of human being were hurt during the stampede. They just prioritized the fans' safety but now the fans are complaining about the cancelation? Actually, if there weren't these kind of happening durign the event, we might all be enjoying the show instead of someone crying right now because hey had their toes twisted. I have a lot of friends out there who's hurt.
Why don't we just understand that the thing that happened earlier was UNEXPECTED?

If I were to blame someone, it'll be those who caused the stampede and not KFEST. I mean, if there weren't a stampede, there'll be no cancelations. It wasn't KFEST's fault that they had limited tickets. If you actually look at it, that was a good idea. Looking back, KFEST1 did not have these kind of big chaos because of the limited tickets. Yes, a lot were disappointed and I am one of those. But we did not do anything stupid like that nor made a scandal.

There were parents inside. Add it up with Grandmas who was waiting for their kids' performance. There were also a lot of Cover-group fans who waited for their bets like Super Simple and such (i am one of those).

I'm not going to be plastic, but I think majority of the new fans . I don't care if everyone would hate me for saying these. But I really hate how the fans reacted about the chaos earlier. I hate how they act. I hate how their brains work.

Where's your brain, hommies?

INCIDENT + Bulls I found
— I found out about the Rupert thing. A lot of my friends on facebook kept posting about this.
I really do not want to blame Rupert (whoever he is) but he should be responsible for his fangirls who kept on chasing him. His "fans" were too magaslaw at makulit that they had to chase him (IDK where). There were fangirls who kept on screaming names and that started the chaos. Connecting it to me experience... The fans along right side kept on screaming that cause the fans closer from us scream too. Everyone thought it was Xander (Feeling mo po, putangina) and that caused the first chaos.

It was said that he walked to a path that was supposedly for Xander's way and even waves his hands on his way. He kept on taking pictures with his fans there even though the guards were shoo-ing him away already (though he does not have a ticet to actually enter the event).

Because of the chaos, some fangirls were down on the floor, sprained their foot ad even had cuts. And all of those were because of him.

I'm not a fan or a friend of that Rupert guy but please, do not blame it all on him. There's their side of the story as well. It's not my place to share the story but kindly know the other side of the story as well. He didn't expect that as well you know.

We also know that the Kpop in our community is also growing so a bigger venue should have been rented. Last year's kfest is also crowded. The organizers should have anticipated more participants since they also invited Xander.

Oh well...

I was in Mega kanina pero when my friend and I saw the crowd, we decided no to go na. And buti nalang, we didn't kasi mauubusan lang din kami ng tickets and seeing your post here, it really does seem chaotic.

Si Xander lang din naman sana ang inaabangan namin even though I was in the fan party yesterday.. Was he not able to perform?
