junee was born in a wealthy family. her father is the CEO of a successful textile company in Korea while her mother is the head-editor for a popular fashion magazine. both of her parents are always busy, she has never thought of having dinner together when seeing them face-to-face is almost impossible. her father and mother does monitor her, asking her condition, whatsoever but only via e-mail or phone. things like that has happened since she was in middle school, exactly in the 3rd year. her father's company rocketed after his product was praised by the infamous fashion designer, Lie Sang Bong. while her mother, got promoted as head-editor when she just entered high school. of course, she was happy for them but that's not what she wanted. she has been seeking for a family, family she lost a few years ago, where she can find warmth and affection inside. since then, she has tried hard to gain attention from her parents by being the best at school.

perfection is there when we can handle our imperfection well. it is her life motto. she is a hard-worker to the extent that she forces herself. being in the middle of ambitious and pesimistic at once always success in making her anxious rate increases. for example, the teacher gave a project where the first completer was free from attending middle-term exam. she would be doing research day and night to complete it but in the end, she got extremely worried if she had thrown herself in a black-hole -being hated or considered intolerant just because she didn't need to attend the exam-.

on the other side, namjoon is quite confused with junee's reaction. he always wants to melt down the ice wall between them by starting a conversation or bringing up a humour. but junee still doesn't respond. as time passed, he found the reason behind her behaviour and began giving her more attention.
