nothing.

JUST.
roleplay, the thing i was introduced back then in 2012. my first thought of it that this new thing will be fun to do, since you got to know more about the figure you were roleplaying when you dig google for some informations. at first it's like that, until you've been in the rpw for more than 1 year. everything change. new vocabs you can hear everyday: ooc, drama and face-chasing, not forget to mention also, bashing. those things happen frequently, either you're joining open or closed agency, or being a freelancer. bringing us back to old times when roleplaying is really roleplaying will be very hard. no matter how far you try, with all your effort, to build an opened or closed agency where you put bunch of rules so people will be friendly, lessen their ooc, talk to each other, it's still impossible.

why is it stated as impossible? first, some of people join, getting close to each other, bringing the mood up and giving a happy and friendly vibe to the base. then, more people start joining in, the community gets bigger. the timeline becomes lively as time goes by and there, everyone is happy. it happens everyday until the first event is held and ends successfully. numerous or even lots of people join into the roleplay, baam. it passes 60s. what will happen next? the mentab is flooding, your timeline is flooded also with people's introduction and so. some feel ignored, some feel left-out, some feel uncomfortable and decide to leave. people will start complaining of how the place lost its fun and friendly vibe, like "it's not as fun as before" "it doesn't feel like a family anymore" "i like when the member count was still under 50". please. the main reason somebody open a roleplay base is so roleplayers join and it becomes crowded right? who wants their agency to only have less than 10 members? it's normal if it gets crowded and the agency will be big, will be more-known.

in the end, those who join first and feel uncomfortable, known as "original members" will leave, making the others feel uncomfy also and leave the place. voila, the base goes back to its main state, silent and still having some members which maybe aren't close to each other.

i write this in my point of view of what i feel when i'm roleplaying and i don't mean to offend either one of you, roleplayers and agencies. i just have the urge to spill it out because i can't hold it anymore. thank you and i apologize if you feel offended.
