She can do individual people, but if she's aiming a whole group with the same spell, the attack appears differently, but more effective, larger, and stronger. She could handle close-range sometimes, as long as it's not hand-to-hand combat.

Extra: Her book holds spells that she herself created, as well as her family in the past generations. The name magically changes into it's current owner as the book is passed down from one generation to another.

Personality: Serenity is a calm and collected person. She's very organized and smart. Her intelligence proves her strategist mind to be quite clever. She's a powerful mage who learned how to battle and fight since she was a child, thus making her a powerful, serious, and stern girl. She's a hard-worker, and a great fighter. It's rare for her schemes and plans to fail. She normally rules her life and things go her way because she's just that difficult to cooperate with. She's very arrogant, and with a haughty demeanor, she's practically a living proof of a devil. Many people despise her for her cold attitude, but still respect her as she manages to keep their land safe from attacks most of the time. She's quite a leader, but others decline and quote, "A leader has companions, a ruler has workers." It referred to her as an uncaring person that only cares about herself, but this is untrue. Serenity is actually a very caring and mature person, but everyone misunderstands her for someone evil or bad because she has trouble showing her emotions, resulting her to appear careless. Many challenged the brainiac lady with riddles, mysteries, and other things, but being the quick-thinker she is, Serenity solves every puzzle thrown at her like it was just flipping a page in a book. Many feared her for her intelligence, but she uses her powers for the good, and for the land's protection. People who are close to her see her soft, kind side. She gives the best advice a person could ask for, so she's the first approach of anyone who has the guts.

Bio: Serenity is currently living the life of a royalty. People treat her like a Queen, and she acts like one too. She's well respected by everyone, and that's enough for her, to gain her citizens' respect. She really likes books, novels, reading, and being challenged by genii like her. It flatters her when they know something she doesn't, but not when they say everyone should know it. She hates it when people underestimate her, and she likes teaching people lessons. Of course, no one knows it's her who does it, but it really is. A hobby of hers. A well-known habit of hers is when people give her the world's easiest riddles and mysteries to solve, she would yawn. Smoothing out her skirts and tidying her hair is also a habit. What Serenity really hates is when people ask why "Serenity" is her name, when she clearly doesn't appear happy, or joyful. She's always pressured and stressed with work, what else can they expect? Her past is something no one knows about, and someone figuring it out would upset her, and she would threaten them to keep their mouth sealed. A fear of hers is her enemies using her past against her, her close ones against her, and her vulnerable side coming out when she's weak and cannot battle. Her close friends are practically the other 14 girls. Something important? She never fell in love, thus not knowing what it's like to love. Her family is dead, her brother is missing, she could care less about his safety.

Background: Serenity was born with a stern, but caring family. Not fully lovable, although her mother cared for Serenity and her younger brother whenever they were injured or depressed or stressed. Their father was always working, but would eventually teach them about the world, give them lessons on fighting and battling himself when he was free (even though they have their own tutors and teachers since they were homeschooled), and even managed to tuck them into bed at night when they fells asleep. Her younger brother, Stephen, would always play with her, and Serenity was actually serene in those times. She knew sometimes her brother would keep secrets from her, and when she pestered him to spill, he came up with a truth, with a part of it a lie. Serenity knew the lie was a lie, but Stephen would never reveal that part of his secrets. She grew suspicious of him over the years, and one day, when she was 18 and he was 16, their family's manor burst into fire. That day, her parents were killed inside the blazing fire with 2 assassins escaping from the scene, as well as Stephen disappearing. She didn't know where he was, everyone thought he was dead, but she knew he was alive. The blood they shared had signal waves, connecting the two. She would have known he died, but he didn't. She could feel he was in pain sometimes during the years after the incident, but she didn't care after a while. She knew he was the reason of the fire. The truths/lies tying together that he held from her for 5 years... she solved the mystery. He betrayed his family. He planned their murder (but the lie was that he would plan their funeral when they die, as he said to her a couple years back. she didn't think of anything. now she knew what he meant). Serenity didn't let herself be fooled ever again. She had already lost her smile when she was 15, the year her mother died from an incurable illness. Now her brother betraying her family gave her trust issues, and the personality she has today. Any thought of him, her fists would clench, her brows would frown, and her eyes would show the blazing flames of anger. Serenity was the heir of her family after that day, and she decided to become who she is today. A powerful mage, a strategist, for her beloved country. She became one of the best 15 in the North Kingdom's army quite easily, because she was already a strong mage that had a strong grasp on her 3 categories of magic at a young age, with a clever mind that comes up with the best strategies. It's been said that no matter who's against her as an opponent, she would always beat them at intelligence and strength in magic.

Love Rival - Kim Kibum

Personality: Kibum is a trickster, one who likes to tease people and challenge them. He likes outsmarting people with his intelligent brain, and not to mention his clever tricks. He's a mature person, yes, but he can be quite annoying. He likes to get what he wants, he likes to play around with people... but that doesn't mean he's careless. Kibum has the best knowledge about herbs, antidotes, healing, and whatnot. The biggest problem he's ever faced was a certain incurable illness that people rarely catch, and end their life with. He gets so desperate and determined (and defensive when people criticize him) when he can't find a single possible way of healing them. Those who mess with him, he teaches a lesson. A good trickster he is, they never bother messing him ever again after that. Kibum normally smirks and chuckles at people when they're dumbfounded, but he absolutely hates people who underestimate him and his skills. He's practically a nice guy, but it's kind of tough to get to that layer, because you have to deal with the annoying hell side of him first.

Bio: Kibum is a healer, the one of the best you can find anywhere. The challenges he gets are always accomplished, except for the incurable sickness. He likes it when people's reactions toward his teasing is scoffing, counterattacking, bickering, etc. He finds it funny when people curse under their breath at him for his tricks. Teasing people randomly is considered a habit to him. He hates it when people touch his things without permission, when people insult him about his skills, and when he's forced to do favors. His only fear is catching the incurable sickness, and spreading it to his close friends. Something important? He secretly studies and tries to find a cure to the sickness everyday, but always fails miserably. He doesn't technically have anyone he can trust with his secrets.

Background: Kim Kibum was an only child, he was born and raised as a normal human being, but his father was a priest. His father taught him how to heal, while his mother was a doctor, so she taught him herbs, cures, every type of sickness there is, and signs of each illness. He learned how to treat burns, cuts, splinters, poisonous itching, mosquito bites, etc., at the age of 4, and he began studying everything there is to healing when he was 7. He grew up dealing with every problem, and he gained the interest in teasing, planning, and scheming people. He became an expert in every illness there is, but that damn incurable illness. No one knows how it came, and how to deal with it. He ended up as one of the best 15 because of his incredible skills and strategist mind. 

Relationship: The two always bicker, and Kibum always teases her, smirks at her, and laughs at her. He noticed that she didn't know what love was and would make her confused about it when he asked questions involving the topic. She would always hate it when he's around, but she can't help but feel uncomfortable when he's not since she's grown used to the daily routine of having him beside her. He's always such a tease, she loves getting revenge on him by pulling a few pranks. Sometimes they argue about plans and strategies, but she can't help but start liking him. Kibum likes to scare her by popping out of no where at random times. They don't really notice, but the two spend the day together everyday because of discussing plans, and their ceaseless bickering. Serenity finds out about his attempt in finding a cure to the incurable sickness, and she can't help but smile at that. That same time, she would sometimes give him some ideas from her own knowledge of antidotes and cures, then Kibum thinks she's in love with him. When he confronts her, she declines calmly and says it's because her mother had been a victim to it that she wanted to help so no one else could have the same fate. When the two learned about these facts from each other, they respected each other more, and yes, they grew quite close without realizing it. It's funny sometimes, because they're arguing is super childish, and he teases her about her height, her style (compared ot others, she's dressed quite fancy for a casual/everyday), and others. He actually manages to learn a bit of her past little by little, and just can't help but pity her sometimes. He asked if she has "another layer of personality", and she said no, unlike the rest of the girls, she appears the same way to everyone because of the lack of love she grew up with, although she is a little softer and kinder to her close friends.

Back-Up Love Rival - Cho Kyuhyun

Class: Thief

Race: Half Breed -- Human and Unknown

Personality: Mischievous, evil, playful, prankster, funny, tainted, troublemaker. Serious and mature when the situation is solemn. A mood maker, and knows when he goes too far.

Bio: Likes- pulling pranks, tricking people, winning over arguments

Dislikes- losing in arguments, the enemy, being misunderstood, using violence when it's unnecessary

Fears- His secret being revealed to public and his close friends (especially to the enemy)

He has no family and his background is unknown since he had amnesia (remembered nothing but his name and his skills) before being labeled as one of the top 15 best. Kyuhyun has no idea how he ended up like that, but he figured it's probably because he gets away with everything, and his skills (especially when stealing something like everyday)

Important? No one knew or recognized Kyuhyun before the day he woke up without remembering anything. His memory loss makes everything all the worse. No one had heard of him before either.

Background: Unknown. He made it in because of his skillful talent in snooping around, stealing, and sneaking. He even makes a wonderful spy somehow.

Relationship: Kyuhyun always goofs off and plays around with Serenity while she finds it quite annoying how he'll never leave her alone. He also reminds her of her brother, Stephen, but she knows it's not Kyu because of the DNA results Kyuhyun had which hadn't matched anyone in the country's documents. Kyuhyun's playfulness just reminds her of Stephen when he was younger.

{Kingdoms}

Requests:

- During a battle, while Serenity is distracted with a couple warriors and knights, an assassin stabs her from behind, and she falls from the roof of the castle she was on top of. One of the girls screamed, calling her name, but Serenity was losing consciousness. Kibum was luckily near the spot she might land, so he caught her in his arms, and escaped, carrying her bridal style. While hiding with her in their hideout, he heals her injury, and she couldn't help but soften up to Kibum a bit when one of the girls told her she was saved by him after the battle.

- Stephen appears from behind a couple trees while a group of 6 (consisting of Serenity, Kibum, 2 other girls, and 2 other Super Junior members) is taking a journey to a place through the forest. Serenity normally never shows a surprised expression, but the shock her body registered was never seen before anyone's eyes before. Serenity immediately raged (but never budged from her spot), as she had confronted him, and scolded him, as well as not let him explain what happened to him about the fire incident 8 years ago. He begged to let him speak, but she didn't let him, and finally screamed that she didn't want to see him, hear him, smell him, think of him, or even breathe the same air as him, so that he should just leave. Stephen was about to take a step forward, but she threatened to slice his head off if he did, and said to leave her alone for the last time. Stephen decided to obey and took his leave, but decided to visit her some other time to explain that he was actually being controlled as puppet by the enemy (the country their fighting against) and that it wasn't his fault and he was sorry. When he did, she couldn't help but let the tears fall (never once had she cried so much in 10 years), and hugged him, and forgave him. Stephen decided to be her secret spy, and the others wouldn't know about it until Serenity felt it was time to reveal her past, so Stephen stayed hidden, under her care. (Meanwhile, Kibum feels jealous and until he learns it's actually her younger brother, he glares at the boy and distrusts him.)

- There should be moments where Kibum hugs her tightly when she's feeling weak, or depressed, and she doesn't realize it but unconsciously hug him back and even cried on his shoulder once (during the Stephen incident at night when they decided to camp and everyone but them fell asleep.) There should also be moments where Kibum kisses Serenity's cheek when they're alone to (but she doesn't think of the way where he could possibly love her for doing that). She should sometimes slap his arm, or stubbornly kick his leg (but she never gets paralyzed or shocked, okay? xD Maybe surprised, but not shocked). Kibum would just laugh off at her blindness toward his meaning.

- There should be a time where they are battling against their enemies (not from the first suggestion's place, much earlier. like a little battle, or invasion), and Serenity is taken off guard because a guy throws a punch at her (she dodges but she can't fight hand-to-hand), so Kibum saves her by getting in front of her, blocking his punch, and punches him back hard (Kibum's good at hand-to-hand combat, okay? xD). When he's done beating the guy up, he turns around and helps Serenity off the ground (like a gentleman lol xD) and when Serenity sees a couple men running towards them behind Kibum's back, she freezes their legs with ice, then they're whole body. The ice breaks into pieces (along with dead guys lol), she looks back at Kibum, and they both smile, then turn around, and fight with their backs against each other.

Questions: ...It's been a month since you last updated... will you actually write up and finish the story with the motivation you have (had)?

Extra: I didn't focus on Kyuhyun too much. XD Hwaiting with the story! ^^
