Freerunner/Traceuse's perspective of the drama version/tips for prospective runners and fighters

I am not gonna lie.

I love it.

I love EXO, I love the story so far. I love love love the incorporation of parkour.

The moves are sick. Very clean, professional, and I am 100% sure it's a stunt double.

Let's be real.

Now, this is definitely going to affect the fandom.

Or more like, the "ultimate Luhan stans"

before you go all gung ho on "oh it looks so easy"

It's not.

Trust me.

I've been doing it for a long time and I recently recovered from a surgery that was caused by said sport.

Don't go for those moves on the first day.

Appreciate the sport for more than Luhan. He didn't invent it.

Be careful and keep in mind that being able to do these stunts requires a lot of strength mentally and physically.

Not to be weight bashing, because I'm not the most "fit" person out there (as in i'm not super skinny. I have my fluff but I have a lot of muscle), but if anyone is really considering this, don't stuff up on junk food.

Yes, you need the carb energy, but protein is the better route.

Take care of your body, keep hydrated, and know your limits.

Now, similar things can be said for fighters.

Many of you may want to go into kickboxing, wushu, taekwondo, etc. after joining fandoms like this.

To be completely honest, if you want to rough it and tough it street style (as well as be practical), I suggest Jeet Kun Do and/or MMA for hand-to-hand.

JKD is the Bruce Lee modified fighting style. My dad's teacher was his direct student.

A lot of science is involved and it's very practical.

MMA is Mixed Martial Arts.

the coolest gym for it is Dog Brothers, but if they're not in your area, don't worry. There are many great schools around.

MMA takes a little bit of everything. TKD, Muay Thai, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu... a lot more.

Nothing against pure styles, I trained those when I was little. Very beautiful in their own way.

Again, Appreciate the sport for more than the fandom. Know your limits.

Don't start fights. ever.

I'm gonna finish this post with my training partners' America's Got Talent audition
