Background:

Her dad is a Korean and her mum is a Taiwanese. She was born in Taitung, Taiwan as her parents were there to visit their grandparents and having a long vacation there. After much debation between her parents about whether to have Paige to complete her studies in Taiwan or in Korea, they made a decision of having her to complete her elementary school in Taiwan, which she learned Chinese and is pretty good in it. At the age of 13, she return to Seoul, South Korea, she can speaks Korean then as her dad always speak Korean to her at home but it wasn't that great. She also know English as her mum speaks both English and Chinese to her.

What inspired her to be a singer? She like listening to Beyonce, she wanted to be a singer like her a lot. After that when she was in Korea, the korean pop music attracted her too. Being a singer like Beyonce is pretty much impossible. As a singer in her hometown, that sounds achievable. She learned ballet since young, she herself is also into modern and jazz dance. She auditioned for YG by dancing freestyle and was accepted on her 4th try.
