POINT-OF-VIEW

An anti-KPOP says that "KPOP songs and music are recommend for public attention. They're just disgusting on my ears."

Guys, what's your reaction about that?

I failed to understand what she meant by that first line. One thing, I really avoid confrontations with antis because we won't agree on anything and they have the tendency to go off topic and bash me OTL Antis have these preconceived notions and will stubbornly stick to it. Only they can change their minds.

Music is about preference. As I went over the first statement again, I had an 'aha' moment. Let's take EXO's Wolf and the Beauty as an example. Many [esp k-netizens] hate it just because it is different from what they hear from the radio [Baby Don't Cry, My Lady and Black Pearl, fits the radio category]. Wolf might be 'disgusting on the ears'. And in order to appreciate that song, one must listen to it while watching the performance. Remember that they are not only singers, but visual idols. This is how SM attracts fans.

Kpop is not all about the songs/music, but the whole package. The performance on stage. How it is delivered, not only vocally. This is done to gain public attention.

For me, I's quite offensive, but then.. everyone has its own opinions.
So, I just don't mind them.
Besides, its hard to fight back the person whoever said that, because well.. How can you judge a person by his/her opinion if he doesn't know the real facts about kpop? or any korean-related?
That's stupid. You're making yourself stupid.

Thats what I think. :)
