HOLD UP! We gotta take a minute to think about this. This should be a bigger deal to Exotics. Because apparently Yixing's mother recently had a birthday, and we need to take some time to think about the fact that the only reason we have our beloved unicorn, our precious, tender, splendid Zhang Yixing is because Mrs. Zhang was born, fell in love, married, carried him through nine months of getting fat, morning sickness, endless mood swings, strange food cravings, and then went through maybe 10+ hours of searingly painful labor to give birth to Yixing and then raise him up to be a wonderful young man who determindedly chases after his dreams and never forgets to stop and say thank you. AND she stayed with him through the teenage years and supported him even though his dreams would take him far away from her. 

I always have a bit of a soft spot for idols' mothers and for mothers in general. Maybe because I read too many Amy Tan novels, BUT ANYWAY, Yixing's mother is a firm, strong, selfless, courageous woman, so I just hope that she knows how much the fans appreciate her as well. I'm sure Yixing did what he could to make the day special for her. I am incredibly grateful to her for loving and protecting our darling Yixing and letting us enjoy his company for a while, too.
