A fluctuous Korean family

Usually I don't post on AFF blog about so much things on this account but I couldn't help my self but be so shocked at this flagrant.. flagrant.. sadness in this korean family I met. O.o owo They are a family of three, the father, the elder son, and the younger daughter, living in america, cypress(?) Idek the name lol. Anyway.. the guy is my age 15 and the girl is 12 (year5) and on the second time I met them, omg I swear I had a huge shock..o.o Apparently when they were in korea and their mother was pregnant with seoyeon(the daughter), her mum had skin cancer. But she couldn't get it treated because she knew the baby would deform. So after seoyeon was born, her mother went to get it treated but it was too late, it had spread all over her body. So that's how things ended.. seoyeon never even got to see her own mother's face, and the guy lost his mother when he was like 4 or 5.. and it just happens that her grandmother is fully hating on seoyeon because her mother died, and is putting all the blame on seoyeon. Her grandmother won't even talk to her. To her, its like an innocent sin she never committed.. I don't know what to feel atm.. the father of this family is my dad's high school junior.. I was so surprised when I heard this, yet seoyeon is such a bright girl and the boy is like.. so... mature..(expected) and pure(?)wthlol This just sounds so much like a korean drama.. I felt so sorry for them and felt sympathy the whole day, although it didn't actually happen to them.. these things usually happen in dramas, it was such a shock that this happened to someone around me.. but I guess seoyeon doesn really know the seriousness of this all just yet because she is quite young atm.. but the.emptiness of her mother on mothers Day and events would have been so big.. I wonder how the guy coped it.. 5 is just a age where you get attached to your mother.. :0 10 years without your mother is just like.. that means he spent three more years in korea before he moved to america. I feel so much sympathy for them.. I wonder how it will feel at their weddinng when their mother isn't there.. and how the father will feel when all his kids leave..

I can imagine the maturity of the son.
It must've been very empty... :(
