Hi all! I thought I should create this list of the characters, locations, leaders and cities from Ethereal! ^__^

WARNING - I have included a lil background info for each of the leaders etc so this may or may not give hints etc but um...yeah.

anyways this list of course is liable to change and/or grow....LOL most likely grow..oh dear heheh :P

there are a few locations and characters that i haven't even aluded to yet so yeah you get to see some places that will come up..eventually lol

I did say this is gonna be huge :P ^____^

Jang Dongwoo – Water/Ice

Prince of the King and Queen of the Bards of the Waves

High spirited, excitable, loves dancing, particularly on water – Loves Hoya

 

Lee Howon (Hoya) – Fire

Son of a blacksmith, moved to Onyx city as father gained a lucrative contract to work for Nuria – Queen of Onyx City and its lands.

Passionate, quiet, strong, loves dancing, good at cooking and exercising – Loves Dongwoo

 

Name Woohyun – Air

A young top student of the priests of Air from the floating market city in the sky, The Sanctum.

Is high spirited, good at dancing – uses swinging chains and blades whilst dancing as well, a little naïve, but is still intelligent with hidden qualities.  

 

Kim Sunggyu – Earth

A young man who, with the help of his family and close friend Lee Sungyeol runs and co-owns a small shop in the city of Gaia; selling herbs, plants, wooden objects, statues etc, potions and salves, healing kits, healthy foods and bits and bobs, usually directed at natural healing and aimed at travellers.

Specialist in potions and herbs.

Calm, controlled, strong, wry/dry humour, inexperienced in love, but is not naïve.

 

Lee Sungyeol – Wood

A young man who, with the help of close friend Kim Sunggyu runs and co-owns a small shop in the city of Gaia; selling herbs, plants, wooden objects, statues etc, potions and salves, healing kits, healthy foods and bits and bobs, usually directed at natural healing and aimed at travellers.

Specialist in wood carvings and plants. Child-like personality, high spirited and enjoys fun things, shy yet handsome and strong, tall. No dating experience – has a crush on Kim Myungsoo

 

Kim Myungsoo – Metal

Mysterious, dark and cold… on the outside, inside he is kind, sweet, loving, caring and searching for love, friendship and validation. Known nothing of his parents, his family and so has a lot of questions and sorrow. Thief, though more like Robin Hood figure – steal from rich give to poor. Constantly being chased and locked up by the leader of Gallium, perhaps more to it….

 

Lee Sungjong – Unknown

Is a disciple of Melia – leader of the city of Yin/Yang in the centre of the globe – intelligent, young, mysterious; knows nothing of his parents. Melia’s tops student and is treated like a son of hers.

 

Other characters:

 

Leo – able to read minds

Is an old school friend of Dongwoo and Hoya – fell for Dongwoo after hoya left, and then was made to spy on Dongwoo by Dongwoo’s parents, by becoming his boyfriend and also reading his mind – not much else is known.

 

Queen Of The Night – opposite of the king of the sun – her lands are vast as well and are In the southwest part of the globe – the place is full of fire and ash, dust and brimstone metal and death – rules with an iron fist and also has the city of Oscuridad (darkness in Spanish) for her capital within the plains of Oscuridad – unknown plans, keeps quiet but who knows?

 

Nuria – (bright/shining in Arabic) – she always has plans and things in place – cares about looking after her people, doesn’t care much for peace and love, but doesn’t want trouble, however if she wants something, she will go and get it, has no hesitation in burning things to ashes then to dust, a war loving mistress of deadly uality, dangerous, nasty and conniving, keeps the vampires, witches and other ‘nasties’ in her realm – basically slept and murdered her way to the top – Hoya and his family moved there away from Mul when he was younger – City of Onyx – fire based place – West

 

King of Souls – is the ruler of a small kingdom known for the Bridge of Souls – here is where death and decay as well as the gateway into the underworld is located – nasty personality and thing – Kingdom of souls – South East

 

High wizard Libor – leader of the city of metal and might – Gallium – The city is shiny and rich with its metal and gemstone and mineral deposits and is located in the North West of the globe – not particularly a nice person – Libor, but doesn’t really want trouble but isn’t the kindest either. Very good at winning and or fighting wars and being underhanded – has a secret that no one but only he knows – Myungsoo lives in Gallium.  

Cassius – second in command – old friend and council to Libor – quiet old little wizard – wants a quiet life so goes along with Libor.

Dregen – Libor’s young warlock – third in command – nice, not like Libor but does as Libor demands.

 

Lilith Kyuketsuki (Kyuketsuki – blood er – (きゅうけつき) – Japanese) (Lilith- is believed to have originated as a female Mesopotamian storm demon associated with wind and was thought to be a bearer of disease, illness, and death. The figure of Lilith first appeared in a class of wind and storm demons or spirits as Lilitu, in Sumer, circa 4000 BC)

 

Leader of a horde of demons, creatures and ninjas in a place called Hellsgate – powerful female demon, deadly, half vampire, half unknown, but seems to be some part dragon at least, but in human form, ninja abilities, uses powerful unknown magic and specialises in swords and long swords, anything sharp, is evil and terrible.

not much known about – wants the boy’s powers in special gems she keeps about her person – can use these crystals in order to ‘’ the ‘blood’ from special beings then the crystals colour changes, and she can then harness those abilities. – East

Albert – Lilith’s butler, personal assistant/slave.

 

Ezra – beautiful, y, deadly, powerful, androgynous – takes a liking to the boys – leader of a place called – Elysium – a place where anything goes, ual and non ual desires and wants.

 

Grand sorceress Melia – is the leader of a small but powerful land in the centre of the globe – She is a powerful sorceress and the land she presides over has peoples and creatures in harmony from all around the world – interesting place and exciting - where everything is in balance and harmony – where the elements somehow all reside perfectly well together – Sungjong lives here in yin/yang city.

 

King of the sun – king of the city of light and is the direct opposite of the queen of the night and her hordes of creatures and undesirables. He does good wherever and however he can, his lands are vast and are in the cool North of the globe – he also honours all of the old gods and goddesses and that is where the old and main temples remain.

 

Master Qi – the leader of the air priests – his favourite student is Woohyun – their air academy is actually a large city which floats around the world and takes on students to train them about the finer things in life – music, songs, dance, meditation and respect for all the elements mostly air – fighter priests as well as normal people within the city for trade and goods – good relationship with all good and bad leaders/areas – neutral and an exciting mixed place.

Common weapons are swinging chains, blades and harnessing of air element to varying degrees – staffs and sticks also used – city is called The Sanctum – Woohyun lives there.

 

Madame Kafeela – Arabic for Protector – leader of the biggest clans from the North Eastern plains and woods – a large expanse of woodland and flatlands which are home to many people’s that live in harmony with one another – the capital is called Gaia – an earthen based city which also has strong connections with the tribes of the woods which they share lands with. – Sunggyu and Sungyeol live in Gaia.

 

Bards Of The Waves – city on the water in the warm South part of the world called – Mul (water in Korean) – they have developed technologies and ways with water no one else has, their last elemental died fighting a fire demon from the last great battle of the Noir forest, also fought against earth creatures – Dongwoo and Leo live in Mul – Hoya formerly.
