Background : 

             Ayumi was born in Seoul, South Korea to a rather rich family. Ayumi does not have any other siblings. However, due to constant quarrels between her parents, she was really upset all the time. She would keep quiet and sit by herself and start daydreaming while the other kids were out playing wildly. When she was 12, her parents finally divorced and from then on, she stayed with her mother. Because of this, she really hated her father for leaving them behind. However, Ayumi's mother would often encourage her daughter to do what she likes and pursue her dreams.

              From young, Ayumi had many aspirations and dreams but she had always dreamed of becoming an idol. Even though deep down, she knew it was a hard road down there, she never thought of giving up. Ayumi grew to be someone independent and despite having to study and taking part time jobs at the same time, she never stopped dreaming. Finally her chance came when she was 14, she went for SM and YG entertainment auditions and she got accepted into SM entertainment. 

               While Ayumi was training, she also attended school. She was in the same batch as Sehun from EXO-K at School of Performing Arts Seoul. Although she knew that she could get kicked out anytime as a trainee, Ayumi has balanced her studies and training well.

Personality :  

Ayumi is someone who is a great dreamer, she has a lot of dreams since she was young but half of them are unrealistic ones. She's always exploring new possibilities and when everyone blindly agrees, she questions it. She gives a new perspective to something, a new element of surprise to something cliche. She has a great imagination and often giving her members really good ideas, ranging from ideas for new songs to ideas for birthday parties. You name it, She got it.

However, if you are looking for a good listener, she's the opposite; she hardly ever pays attention to others. Sometimes, this really pisses off the people who are really serious about something, but they are all mostly used to that. Ayumi is also someone who is really good at everything; the jack of all trades and if she is willing to put in more effort into something, she would make it big. She's really confident and innocent, she really believes in everything.
