Who want's to be a Superhero? + secrets

Well you can if you enter my friend's competition.

Spread the word, post it in your blog as well. I'm being biased because I'm actually one of the judges so it would be good if at least 2 of my friends here could enter and then maybe share it with someone else.

I have to warn you; we've caught one cheater and we may give her another chance but that will be it. Here's me kind of hoping that I can keep up with this as well as update my stories (though right now I cannot do much regarding when).

Seraphim will be updated soon and I'm still waiting for my review for another story.

Ok onto my discussion

Secrets are very much valued by some and strongly rejected by others. Receiving secrets is almost the same as taking weed. People will say that a little won't hurt you and that it makes you feel good while others prefer to have nothing to do with it as they know the dangers.

The reason I believe why people want to know such intimate details about others is because knowledge is power. A power that may not necessarily come from a good source but also an advantage. If you know something about someone that could ruin their reputation or relationship with someone then it can be used to blackmail or manipulate them to do whatever you desire.

At the moment I'm in a position where I've been hearing secrets. I wondered why and what purpose it was. What bugged me at first is that I could not test the person's words to see if there was any truth in them. That's where trust comes into it all. The more you trust someone, the more you will hope to believe that what they tell you is indeed true.

In the end I've had to forget about some of the things. No point in me worrying over them when I'm not involved directly and I'm taking them with a pinch of salt. It may hurt some if you hear this but sometimes you don't know who to trust. Sometimes you cannot trust those closest to you.

If you hear secrets then fine, do what you need to do but if a person's life is at stake then don't hold onto it. That in my opinon is the only time I feel you should tell someone else about a secret.

I know what you mean. :( But it's a double-edged sword that we can all choose how we want to use it. To heal or to hurt, right? Hopefully, we can all choose to heal! :D
