This is stupid.

So a few days ago I left the house without leaving a note or sending my mom a text. But my little sister knew where I was. And I was with people the entire time. I was gone for about 45 minutes. My mom got home from work and I got back about 10 minutes after she did.

She started yelling at me about people being kidnapped, and murdered and all this crap. So I got grounded. And I have to write a 5 page report about , kidnaps, and murders in the 5 surrounding states in the past five years.

I'M ALMOST 18 YEARS OLD.

Like seriously.. I don't understand why she thinks that me doing a report isn't good. And what the hell am I supposed to say? I guess I can just list everything. But you can't just give me a subject and expect me to give a report on it. JUST GO AND LOOK IT UP YOURSELF. ;A;

Does anyone elses mom do this?

Too look at it a different way, put yourself in your moms shoes. Maybe you wouldn't overreact quite as much but that is your baby, no matter how old you get, your always your moms baby. Just be happy that she is so worried about you. Totally understandable that you feel she is being ridiculous, but being a mom brings the fear level to impossible heights.

My mom too! If I go anywhere without tell her she will freak out and start cryinggg
And definitely will punish me to calm herself down
But that okay because I know she love me and care for me
I'm sure your mom love and care for you very much that why.

What?! Thats ridiculous! My mom only yells at me and warns me! she doesnt ground me! I say the 5 page thing is stupid! why dont you just tell her your sorry?
