BIRTHNAME. Ahn Yeseul { 안예슬 }
NICKNAMES.
             > seulni (sEUl nee) ; Younger sisters ; Yebin started this when she became 5, mixing Yeseul and Eonnie together.  Yejung also picked it up following by example by her older sister.

             > yebi (yay bee) ; dance group ; her group of friends gave her this name. Yeseul didn't grow into her face until her mid-teens. Having a baby face, she got the "stage name" Yebi whenever they performed for their families or posted videos anywhere.

             > byeol / jakeun byeol ; (star / little star) ; called this by her mother when she was young. Not planning to have other children, her mother was convinced that Yeseul was her only little star; destined to do great things. Even if that great thing was just turning out as an amazing human being.

             > seulah ; called this by her parents, a shortened, informal nickname.
BIRTHDATE. 11.27.2000
(11.27.96 - if Seola is used)
BIRTHPLACE. Suwon, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea
ETHNICITY. Korean
NATIONALITY. Korean

LANGUAGES.
korean | 100 % | Yeseul's mother language. Speaks well and uses honorfics ALWAYS unless she is very certain someone is younger than her. Will not drop honorifics unless the other person she's talking to says that it's okay.
english | 15% | can at least introduce herself. Learned only basic english as required in school days.

japanese | 3% | When yeseul was training at One Million Dance Studio, there were a few Japanse students that she made friends with who taught her short phrases. She is by no means close to basic conversation but she'd like to learn more some day.

FACECLAIM. > rina - weki meki
BACKUP. > seola - wjsn
                 > doyeon - weki meki

APPEARANCE. > 164CM | 5FT 4IN | 53KG | 117LBS  < || > An average height for girls her age. She makes sure to keep well within, but on the lower sided of the recommended weight range. Yeseul is well proportioned so she looks taller in photos and videos that get posted. People become shocked when they meet her in person and it always becomes a five minute coversation. She was blessed with a sharp chin and round cheeks and  slightly sharp eyes, with an all around expressionless faec. Leaving wonder to all those who look upon her. Is she fierce, cute or uninteresting? Her resting face is usually the same as her thinking or concentration face. It takes a lot of thinking to change her face to make her expression change. (That practice usually begins with looking in the mirror and then taking it to the dance studio ). Her posture is tall and graceful. When she walks, it's displayed in a confident stride. From her vacant expression, when her smile comes out, she's been told that her face lights up and she becomes almost irrecognisable. That being said, her resting expression is more prominent. This is one of her biggest insecurities. Her overall aura is charmin, but approachable, making it easy for others to strike up a conversation.

STYLE.
                  | BEFORE JYP |
Yeseul practically lived in the dance studio. If she wasn't in leggings and large t-shirts or tank tops, her style remained very basic. With her mind busy on dancing, her fashion sense took the back burner and so did her appearance. Her outfits consisted of plain colors; white, black, grays, denim, and the occaisional random shade of brown. Her only pop of color was a red heart on her favorite hat. Non-form fitting and little to no accessories. The only fashion interest at her at the time was which shoes would provide the smoothest moves and best ankle support in the dance studio. Her hair almost never left a pony tail or it's containment of a hat. If she was training to be a back up dancer, why would she dress to impress and stand out?

       | MID AND AFTER JYP  |
JYP became her gamechanger as far as fashion goes. JYP was when she met Chaeyeon and when shopping sprees started. Yeseul began wanting to show her individuality and use her clothes to bring out her personality since her face certainly wasn't going it for her. Yeseul started delving into all types of styles and patters. Grunge, edgy, cute, comfortable, class and casual, you name it. She started trying out new types of hats and learned that she looks really good in berets. Yeseul even started experimenting with different hair styles besides just a pony tail. She even on a friend date with Chaeyeon and got her ears pierced. Through fashion, Yeseul discovered a new part of her self. Her dance practice clothing stayed the same, just aging with new styles and brands when it was affordable. Make-up experimentation outside of stage make-up also began. Once she found a routine that worked for her, it stayed.  She learned things from their make-up artists and applies it to her own routine when she's feeling like changing up her look.

COMMENTS. adding comments as I go so if they seem to not make sense---- Lol ^^"

+ Thank you for allowing me to start late and for the extenstion!

+ If Rina is taken as a face claim, her birth year will be '96 instead. Doyeon can stay the same as '01 I think. But do whatever you think! :D Also feel free to switch between faceclaims if you like one over the other. And aslo, feel free to use Rina's appearance with short/medium or long hair, too!

+ I completely over looked that fact that Rina was a dancer so if you want to use her as a dance claim instead of Mijoo or Yooa, totally cool with me!

+ 2nd back up for love interest can be n/a if the previous two are taken. :)

+ I know this is one of your jobs but PLEASE FEEL FREE TO LET ME KNOW IF I NEED TO ELABORATE. I'm throwing details every which way and I'm sure I forgot something somewhere-

+ PLEASE let me know if you need elaboration on her r/s with BTS & TXT. She's not really close with anyone but she's friendly to a lot of people @ Big Hit since that's the company she's been with the longest and has become familiar with everyone─

+BTS Fire cover is an actual link with RINA focus.

Even if Yeseul doesn't get picked, I'll follow the story since  I read about every character. There's so much that you get to work with. I'm really excited for the outcome. Thank you for this experience!

SCENE SUGGESTIONS. A confrontation between Yuri and Yeseul. Just so Yeseul recognizes that it's an area that needs attention so she can grow as a person. Also, if they happen to get into the group together it will cut down on in group tension.

Practice scenes, practice scenes, PRACTIE SCENES.
       > with lunation members
      > yeseul with jungkook going           over moves

A company party where everyone can mingle together. I know that might get messy, but something to think about!

A phone or texting conversation with Chaeyeon and her little sisters.

A flashback scene of how each of the girls felt when the found out that they were going to debut.

PASSWORD. Honestly, it would be cool if they brought bad a song of GLAM's to pay homage to their first girl group while debuting their new group ( I like that or In Front of The Mirror. )

Otherwise, I'd like to suggest SONAMOO's Round 'N Round. Despite the significant rap section, I think the vocals section do a lot of showing off with what they're given with to fit the vocal theme of the group!

Anything by SPICA would also fit well! Their vocals were KILLER! (I'll Be There)

"See? I've learned to smile. Look at me now."

PERSONALITY.
( + ) charming, responsible, individualistic,  vivacious, open

Her charm comes from her features that she's learned how to portray it well. A lot of her self conciousness came from having an expressionless face as picked on by one of her friends. From then on, she learned a lot about how to express herself little by little and has become a charm of hers. Once someone becomes friends with Yeseul, there is a warmth that radiates from Yeseul. There's the basic traits that everyone seems to have of being kind and welcoming. When she opens up she becomes a friend that is unforgettable. She likes to crack simple jokes or use sarcasm. She likes to make people laugh as much as she can once she considers them a friend.
Her responsibility of being a big sister carries over into every aspect of her life. Once she commits herself to a task, she will see it through to the end. This also plays a part with being helpful. If she sees someone struggling carrying something heavy or picking a lot of things up at one time, she'll over to help. She's the type of person who is first to volunteer or will skip sleep to help out even with the most menial task.
Yeseul has the tendency to be self focused because of the desire to always improve herself. She lacks in ways of making friends first. Recognizing this downfall, once she joined Big Hit, she decided it's time for that to change. She started asking questions and getting to know people little by little. She picked up on giving out candy and it turns out that giving small gifts, along with helping others is something that she really enjoys doing. Small things that Yeseul does that other people have pick up on and told her about is that she blinks hard, puffs her cheeks when she's thinking, wiggles while she eats and hums while she doing small tasks. These subtleties, she obviously didn't notcie, but she embraced them wholeheartedly.
Her passion becomes contagious. Her smile can lighten up the room or the mood, what ever is needed at the time. When she dances, the energy shoots out from her entire being. She owns every single thing that she does and makes it the best effort she can manage at the time. When she's down, it's almost like someone shut off her light bulb. She becomes groggy and soft spoken, slowly making her way through the day.
When she someone is down, regardless of their relationship level, Yeseul makes sure to reach out and let them know that they're loved and not alone. She became bothered at a young age with all of the suicides and bullying that seems run rampant through the country. She'll offer her phone number, social media, a place to sleep, snacks, drinks, a hug, a shoulder to cry on or even an ear to listen. Offer rejected or not, she always ends with; "I may not be able to make it better or understand what you're going through, but I can make a good cup of tea and listen well."

( = ) determined, subtle, neat, artful, content

All of these traits apply to her sub-conscious personality. Things that she isn't aware of but are quite engrained. Her determination could almost be a borderline negative trait. Once her mind is made up, there little to no chance of stopping her. Where this can become a negative traits is how long she focuses on dance or vocal practice to the point of exhaustion. She doesn't think of her most basic needs of snacks or water when she's trying to perfect a move or a vocal line.
Being an attentive older sister, her ability to pick up on how others are feeling has gotten easier over time. The only instance where it wouldn't work is if Yeseul has a problem with another. (Take Yuri for example -- see relationships). Her sisters, a walk in the park; She can read them like a book. Once Yeseul is around people enough, she can start picking up on little details, but it's not instant. It takes awhile.
Yeseul is N E A T. Mess makes her tense and panicky. She doesn't like it when something is moved out of place or not where she left it. Her room, spotless. Her duffel back, everything sorted neatly and clothes folded. She also likes to help clean up after events and will go out of her way. She doesn't do it for attention, favors or the recognition. Cleaning and neatness helps her mind organized so she can focus on other parts of her day instead.
The art is in her dance. It's in her voice. It's in the songs she tries to compose. She's not even close to being a musical genius but there''s something that gives her actions life. A burning passion inside her change that transforms her when she is given the opportunity to shine. Her moves become precise, her tone, unwaivering.
Yeseul is a generally happy person. There's not a lot that will put her off. Any mention of being emotionless; THAT will inspire self-consciousness to manifest inside of her. She's happy with her life and how she lives day to day.

( - ) self-reliant, abrasive, meddlesome, emotional & overthinker, forgetful

It's no secret. Yeseul relies solely on herself. Almost too much to where it become an issue to as for help. At a breaking poing, then and ONLY then will Yeseul ask for help. Otherwise, it's pushing through as much as she can possibly survive. Being the only one in her family pursuing an idol career she has had to build her mental strength to withstand the hardships of the lifestyle. "You can do better." "It will just get harder." "Why don't You give up". Nevertheless, she persisted, getting stronger and numb to when too much is too much
She doesn't beat around the bush too often. Unless someone is going through a rough time, Yeseul speaks direct and to the point. Sometimes coming off as rude. Along with this, she also has the tendency to no speak before she thinks. Words will roll off her tongue, not meaning them the way that they are perceived. It will usually take a pause or two before she realizes what she said was unnecessary or that it could be taken the wrong way. If and when she gets called out on that, her immediate reaction is apologize, explain herself and try to work out her words better next time.
Yeseul is only meddling when it comes to friends or family. She'll stick her nose where it doesn't belong ANYDAY. She doesn't have a problem doing it especially if someone is being bullied or there is an unecessary situation going on. She can't stand anyone being treated unfairly. THAT being said, sometimes, she'll but in when it's definitely unwanted by BOTH sides. She has trouble telling the different between both situations.
The emotional and overthinking part comes to into play usually when she's stressed. When she hasn't had much alone or down time, hasn't seen her family and has spent the day working on something over and over, she'll becoming emotional (usually short tempered), start think of outrageous situations and eventually end in some tears. Besides her parents, she hasn't really had anyone see her cry. She goes to great lengths to hide it so it is a rare person indeed that gets to witness it. Forgetfulness also piggy backs on her stress level. Listen, stress comes with the job and she knows that. She does well mostly to contain it and keep to her personal rituals to keep it from getting to her but when it does, it comes down hard. Forgetfulness is her first "symptom". She leave her socks or even her favorite pen at home. She's forget small talk conversations 2 or 3 minutes after they happen and become confused when asked about it. When clumisness kicks in, that's when Yeseul should start panicking. She is typically a well balanced, graceful person. Bumping into walls or tripping over thin air is when Yeseul needs a time out and someone to suggest her do so.

BACKGROUND.

[ 2008 ]
Oddly enough, the interesting bits of Yeseul's life didn't come into play until she turned 9 when Yebin was born.  The between Yeseul and Yebin is enough to cause sibling issues alone. 9 years. Despite what most adults told her parents, it never became an issue. Yeseul stepped up to become an older sister from the start. Between school and homework, Yeseul tailed her mother, learning and bonding with Yebin Three years later, when Yebin was on the road to being a mouthy, zoomy toddler, Yejung was born. As a surprise to the entire family. From then on, Yeseul dug deeper into her bigger sister role, becoming more serious and responsible.

[ 2009 ] By the age of 10, Yeseul's resting face started to take it's place unless Yeseul was with her sisters. This was also when she wanted to start dancing. Girls in her housing complex were in a group. Immediately, she was fascinated. Even though Yeseul was a good student in school, nothing captivated her like dancing did in the very first moment she became exposted to it. One of the hottest dances at the time was SHINee's Lucifer. The dance was too far advanced for a group of beginners so instead they started choreographing their own dances and competeing again each other. Yeseul's imagination and love for dancing burned like a wild fire in her heart.

[ 2010 ] From 2009 until now, Yeseul and her friends started dancing more seriously. Yeseul begged and begged to get into dance classes on the weekends. Her parents simply didn't have the time to take her back and forth. Nearly defeated, one of the girls in her dance group invited Yeseul to go along with her to dance lessons at a dance studio. Always starting with the basic steps, Yeseul moved quickly. Being a natural was only a partial blessing. A lot of work was involved for her to move up in position. Eventually surpassing her friend who had been at that dance studio for a year, Yeseul started to back off a bit. Her friend eventually told Yeseul off , calling her a expressionless fish. (Best that an 11 year old could come up with). "Expressionless?" Yeseul DWELLED on that comment every night. Dance is all about expression. She started to catch herself in the mirror, with no facial cue of what was going on in her mind or heart. After awhile, the comment started to eat away at her esteem and affecting her developing dance abilites. After one of the practices, Yeseul's instructor pulled her aside and started a conversation. "Hi, how ya doin'" sort of things. A few minutes pass, the instructor starts asking, "how's your spirit? anything digging at you? You aren't the same recently.. Your face.." Tears streamed down Yeseul's face as she started to explain what was said by her friend and that it really was true. How wasn't she capturing the expression of dance? The instructor sat her down and started explaining to Yeseul that their's more expression in dance than just in the face. "It's in your toes and stretches alllll the way to your finger tips. It can even make your hair fly." After the pep talk, a smile peeked out from her upset demeanor and the teacher responded,"There she is, there's Yeseul,"

After their chat, her instructor gave her "homework" to practice facial expressions in the mirror when no one's around. This became one of Yeseul's fondest memories and even practices it in the present.

[ 2011 - 2013] These are the years that Yeseul started to develop into her own person. She started to voice what she wanted. Her determination became a trait engrained into her very being. More and more new videos of the hottest idols were being released and her passion burned like never before. When she first brought to her parents attention  that she wanted to train and audition to become a dancer, it was an absolute no. The conditions and amount of work are unhealthy for anyone. Yeseul persisted and asked every day for an entire year. Finally, when Yeseul turned 12, her parents sat her down and had a lengthy conversation. If that was something that she really wanted to do, they wouldn't be able to help much financially but they would support her in any way possible. They also covered how the real world will be and it will be hard. She'll cry and have days where she'll want to quit.
"I'll get right back up again and face it."
That was always her response. Yeseul promised her parents that she would send in audition tapes only after all of her school work was done for the week. She started sending in applications and applying to any company scouting at the time. Complete with a resume, Yeseul waited for acceptance. The first few auditions were hard. When she was told no, she took it with a grain of salt. A few tears were shed in the beginning but she then realized THIS is what it is to be knocked down..
"I'll get right back up again and face it."
Yeseul devoloped the habit of asking questions at her auditions. What can I do to be better? How do I fix it? Most times there weren't answers because the judge panel had limited time per auditionee, but other times, they judges were impressed by her audacity. She took ever comment straight to the heart and came back better. 12 auditions later and she got accepted into CUBE, her very first company.

RELATIONSHIPS.
[ NAME | BIRTHDATE | R/S | FACE  | INTERATIONS ]

Han Yebin & Yejung || 03.17.09 , 06.29.12 || Younger Sisters ||  Na Haeun & Hayoon || Always getting along with her sisters, Yeseul is protective when it comes to them. She doesn't tolerate any bullying or unfair treaments from her friends towards her sisters like siblings usually allow. Their favorite things to do together are eat ice cream and go to the park. Yeseul has photos [ 12 | 3 | 4 ] of her sisters on her phone to keep her motiviated during the long practice hours and late nights that she stays up studying. Any time she can take to keep in contact with her siblings, even if it takes time away from her sleep, she gladly does so.

Lee Chaeyeon | 01.11.00 | Best Friend |   I*ZONE | These girls became inseparable when Yesul began training at JYP. Despite only being Yeseul only being there for a year, their friend ship took off fast. Chaeyeon is the reason that Yeseul picked up rapping. There's a lot that Yeseul actually learned, but she's too headstrong to admit. Thanks to Chaeyeon, Yeseul learned how to become more expressive when NOT on the stage. When these to are together, Chaeyeon pulls out a personality where Yeseul becomes unrecognizable. Her smile never fade, stupide jokes come non-stop and her goofiness becomes prominent. While training together, these girls spent most of their time either in the dance studio choreographing short dances to songs or learning chorus dances from popular songs coming out at the time.

Jeon Jungkook | 09.01.97 | Sunbae | BTS | When Yeseul became a trainee, most of her time was spent in the dance studio. While BTS are going through their promotions, they also spend a lot of time at the company, praciticing and preparing. Yeseul would sit in and watch their dance practices at the very least. Watching even the smallest details, she'd take notes to practice moves later. Male dances always tended to be harder than female dances, the K-Pop industry has proved that time and time again. After many, MANY frustrated individual practice times, she approached Jungkook and asked if he would spend once or twice a week, training her to become an even better dancer. Jeongkook caught early on that Yeseul would get frustrated after missing even the smallest details multiple times. He learned to combat this by being playful and pumping her up in between trying and trying again. When BTS has a comeback, Yeseul is lucky to get even one practice in every two weeks. Yeseul has a huge respect for Jungkook and nothing beyond that.

"Yeseul-ah!" Jungkook walked after the girl who was fighting back tears of frustration. Hands and feet separately, she could do the moves fine. Together was a whole different story. She threw her arms up in the air and jumped a few times. Jungkook wiggled a little bit in hopes to amuse her like he has done so many times before. "You're so close. Do you think that you're a failure just because you can't get one shoulder roll? You can do it. If not now, tomorrow. Or the next day. But if you keep grilling yourself like this, your head will get in the way. Let's give it another shot?" Jungkook spoke with a level voice, reasoning soundly to the annoyed girl. He held out his fist towards her. After a moment of thinking

Jeong Yuri 'Risa' | 12.11.98 | Fellow Trainee | ITZY Yeji | Yeseul has a tough time being around Yuri. When practicing as a trainee unit, Yeseul always tries to find formations that will put her at the opposite side of Yuri. It's not that anything has happened. Besides basic introduction, Yeseul keeps her comments short and to the point whenever Yuri is present. Yeseul has a huge admiration for Yuri. As a bad habit, Yeseul has a hard time admitting her admiration and instead it comes out as annoyance and probably jealousy to the outside eye. If she's not talking to her sisters before bed, Yeseul will watch their dance practices and take notes from Yuri's moves like she used to do for the BTS sunbaes.  Yeseul becomes guilty and defensive whenever this is pointed out. Especially to Yuri, she'll snub her or hurry away to collet her thoughts before she says something she'll regret.

Yeseul's thoughts ── How can someone be so good at everything while capturing their purest aura while dancing? Not to mention, she's been around BTS the entire time they've been training? How much more practice has she gottent than me? Will I be able to master dance as well as her? ──

Yeseul's biggest fear with Yuri is the possibility of them getting put into the same group and being a shadow. She just needs to be taught how to admire openly and make a friend rather than hide away and grumble how good someone else is. On top of Yeseul's inner turmoil, she has the guilt of disrespecting an older trainee on her shoulders.

Yeseul addresses Yuri as 'Ms. Jeong' to keep the sense of respcect but stay as distant as possible.

Kwon Raquelle 'Mira'  | 01.08.97 | Fellow Trainee | Ryuwon | Mira is the one person that she wanted to be fully aware if Ryuwon was older or younger. Mira comes off as quite intense. Her swearing doesn't help one bit. Besides being aware of her stage name, A huge confusion that Yeseul had at first was if she should call her Raquelle or Mira. She ends every call of her name with -nim and will do so until told otherwise. Their overall relationship remains as fellowe trainees. Yeseul admires her rapping ability. Yeseul's ability being nowhere near Mira's ability, it doesn't cause her to push Mira away.

"Here." The older girl mumbled, holding out a water bottle to Yeseul. Bent over with her hands on her knees and huffing air, Yeseul straighted up and tried to brush it off,"Ah I have my ow-". Mira interrupted almost immediately in the same hushed tone, "It's empty. You've tried to drink from it three times. Take it." Miri pushed the water bottle into Yeseul's hand and started to walk away. "Thank you.. Mira-sshi!". To Yeseul's complete surprise, she didn't  expect Mira of all people to bring her water, but it was something that she's remember.

REST OF BTS | It is a complete respect relationship with all of them. Since they're one of the most popular groups in the industry, their either busy with promotions, catching up on much needed sleep or preparing for the next comeback or concert. Needless to say their time around each other is most likely quite limited. All Honorifics. -ssi, -nim, sunbae, or their preferred honorific is at the end of each of their names.

REST OF TXT | Since Yeojun and Yeseul are already aquainted (see ♥'s part), Yeojun has obviously talked about her a *few* times to the other members. This doesn't put any distance between Yeseul and the other guys, simply because she doesn't know what they know about her. The members of this group are around her age range so they all collectively decided to drop honorifics and talk to each other comfortably. Once TXT debuted, Yeseul treated them to a case of Banana Milk and repeats to do so after they go on shows or promote their music. She'll greet them all by name every time she see's them or will wave with two hands by her cheeks with a bright smile.
ahn dul se ye! Lunation's Yeseul iminda~

{ahn her last name also a play on hana which is sometimes shortened to han, two, three, ye for yeseul}

STAGE NAME. Yeseul || Upon getting asked about her stage name, she thought a long time about it. She almost chose Seulni but she didn't want her special nicknames from her sisters to be used by everyone and have it lose it's meaning. On the day of stage name turn-ins, Yeseul confidently submitted her given name. Wanting to be known for exactly who she is and only her birth name would give her that satisfaction.

TRAINEE YEARS.  6 Years

              2014 - 2016 @ JYP
              2016 - 2019  @ Big Hit

TRAINEE LIFE. you know the deal with these, in case she had any pre debut activities put them in here!!
[ 2013 - 2014] When Yeseul got accepted into CUBE, she thought her heart was going to stop. Everything that she had been working towards was starting pay off. Her dream of being a dancer was becoming a reality. Despite difficulte auditions and multiple callbacks, Yeseul along with 3 other girls and 4 guys were accepted. She didn't have long to wallow in her triumph or anxiousness because by next week, her official training would begin. This training was nothing like she had ever encountered for. It's not that it was harder, but more intense. More practice hours, less sleep and also dieting became a thing. While the newbie group of trainees were top of the line out of the auditioners, it was made very clear that if they didn't make monthly progress, there were consequences and possible termination in order. Yeseul practiced like her life depended on it. Here she was at the bottom again, just like when she started at the dance academy. Training to be a back-up dancer, she didn't worry about her overall look as much as the others did. She did clean up a little bit when they were recording sessions, but otherwise, it was nothing but dance clothes and a hoodie if ever she needed it. Dividing herself up between family life and trainee life was no easy task. Not as home as much and almost practically living at the company, her hard work never waivered day in and day out. CUBE was her first taste at what it would be like to be a dance or an idol one day. Yeseul would turn her head whenever she became involved in any conversation that revolved around being an "idol". That subject to her was taboo. All there was for her was dance, or so she thought. During her time at CUBE, her team had mini-weekly evaluations and monthly ones to determine progress. She took them very seriously. Even trying her best sometimes, she'd come in rank 3 or 4. She'd beat herself about it a little bit before pulling herself back together and practicing the next test. Week after week, this was her life. Practice and practice harder. She didn't make very many friends at this time. More like acquaintances. She gave respect where respect was due. This was a competitive field, she knew that. It was still unnerving, however, to overhear someones "jokes" about stepping over all of the other trainees to get to the top. Through her year, Yeseul made one friend whome of which she only knows by the name of Ears. He left before she got the change to ask his name or say goodbye. Her birthday came and went just like her time at CUBE.

[ 2014 - 2015] One might say that Yeseul had a backwards way of thinking about how she spent her time at companies. While at CUBE she kept filing audition forms with resumes and head shots attached. If they were filed electronically, she sent dance video auditions. When she got an audition confirmation from JYP, she thought it'd be the best idea to get as many companies on her resume as possible. (The only down side that she didn't think of at the time was that it could also be seen as her not working out at the company and being let go) At auditions, Yeseul met a bright young girl named Chaeyoung. Little did she know, she was talking to her future best friend and her life was going to be changed. Auditions were auditions, the time came and went. Each auditionee went home with the familiar pit in their stomach. Did I make it? A week later, callbacks were made. Followed by a second and a third. A month of waiting later, Yeseul was accepting and listed as a trainee at JYP entertainment. She let CUBE know that she would be leaving and transferring to another company. What would they care, anyways? She was only a year old trainee. On her first day, Yeseul was GLOMPED by an very excited Chaeyoung and their friendship took off. Chaeyoung let Yeseul know very quickly that she was training to be an idol. That meant voice lessons, practice on top of dance lessons and practice. Yeseul used to chuckle and shake her head at all of the work Chaeyoung had to do. Over the year of working at JYP, besides tweaks and changes to rules, it was the same old same old and about 4 months in, Yeseul started getting bored. After enough complaining, Chaeyoung challenged Yeseul to a reinspiration battle. I'll learn one of your dances if you learn one of my songs. AGREE. Over the next few weeks, they both did exactly as they promised and learned each other's role. Unknown to Yeseul, when they went to present to eachother, Chaeyoung let some of her other trainee friends into the room to listen and judge the girls. Chaeyoung killed at the dance. She got Yeseul all worked up, whooping and cheering for her friend. Chaeyoung then motioned to Yeseul and said okay, girl, do your thing. Yeseul remembers feeling not nervous butterflies, but empowering butterflies by Chaeyoungs support. Yeseul began singing. There was tension in a lot of spots, but pure tone in much more. Once she was done, Chaeyoung rushed to her and started pulling on her arms, telling her how good she was. The other trainees revealed themselves. Other "idols trainees". They started asking if she was training as an idol or what her lead program was. When they found out it was dance, most shook their head and others rolled their eyes. It was all good but they kept mentioning that if she had a voice like that, all it needed was some training and she would DEFINITELY be good enough to make it in a group. From then on, it took a lot of thinking. Once again at it with the auditions forms, at the end of the year, Yeseul applied Big HIt  and was accepted to audition. She, with a bit of hesitation, looked over the papers. She didn't want to leave Chaeyoung, but she wanted to keep building. The day after she auditioned, she told Chaeyoung that she was going to leave. Of course, Chaeyoung's initial reaction was to cry both in sadness and happiness for her friend and she made it VERY clear that they were to keep into contact with each other (which they did.) Another year came and went and Yeseul grew into a happier, more firm version of herself. This new company, I'm doing something different, she kept repeating this over and over to herself.

+ her only back-up activity of note was being a repleacement dancer for Twice a total of 4 times on various stages.

She learned dancing as a way of self expression. To break away from the tough or questioning exterior that her face seems to show. Singing became a thing that she picked up a long the way so once the realization came that she would be in a group someday, she started practcing voice as much as dancing.

[ 2016 - 2019] Making it into Big Hit was quite the shock. She had heard about GLAM's scandal but BTS made the company BOOM. Training under the worlds most popular boy band's company? HAh, no time to worry about that. This time, things are different. Yeseul auditioned as a dancer, gave a small singing segment and passed through, with much deliberation, just like the three times. Once she got through and started her first week of training along with the others, she was asked, what do you want to do? For a week she deliberated and finally decided to take a change. I want to be an idol.
Her schedule from then on took pounding. The competitive level was still there. The work was hard on both sides. She started taking voice lessons through a company staff member and piano lessons on the weekends so she could play to her own songs. She passed more in dance tests that she did in voice tests. Yeseul started research of how to take care of her voice. Starting with vitamins and water, Yeseul began the road of becoming a serious vocalist with dance as her specialty. But how to make it her own? She felt like she was back in the same line of not belonging to an expression.  The more she sang and the more she danced, Yeseul got better. Her vocal tension went away as her range expanded. She even started to self-learn rap. Practicing to speak in tone a rhythm was harder that most people practicing let it on to be.

In this time frame, her dance became the most superior of her skills, followed by voice and then casual rapping. Her determination lead her this far followed by the love and support from Chaeyoung and other trainees that she worked with in the past. After a year, Yeseul decided that she didn't have enough yet and wanted to stay. Just because she was good, doesn't mean there wasn't room for more improvement. She started making her way with new friends and trainees, staff members and CEO's alike.

It wasn't until a year and a half in that she realized that Ears was at the same company.

LOVE STORY. first meeting; The year Yeseul was at CUBE, she overlapped with Yeonjun's years at CUBE. She left before him.

"Hey! E a r s! Down front!" Yeseul left out a short-tempere breath. The dance she was practicing required her to start back further in the dance studio and make her way up towards the mirror. Being 5ft 4in, she stomped up to the taller boy, happily dancing away  to the music playing in his headphones. Yeseul grumpily tapped on his shoulder. "Yah!". The taller boy jumped, taking out an earbud as he looked at the not-so-menacing sweat covered girl.
"Do you mind? I'm trying to practice and you've gotten in my way three times already."
Yeonjun smiled and took out his other headphones, tucking them around his neck and over his shoulders. "Yeah, I mind. I've seen you practicing that all week and you keep messing up your feet. I thought that I was doing you a favor so you'd stop and take a break to realize your mistake."
What Yeseul didn't know was that Yeonjun was only guessing on the practicing all week, which she actually had done. The dance that she learned was a basic skill test that CUBE keeps in place to make sure their dancers are up to par. Being a dancer himself, Yeojun had already learned it and struggled in the same spot himself, along with all of the other trainees in his group.
Yeseul's patience was thin enough already. She'd been practicing since after dinner. It reaching 10 pm now, her hours of effort meant nothing if she kept messing up in the same spot.
"Oh yeah, tough guy? You're so sure, then show me!" This was one of the first times she's ever had a frustration outburst. It didn't help that she was sweaty and tired.

Yeojun let out a soft  laugh as he went back to the area where the designated start spot was and begun the dance. He didn't need the instrumental track since he had practiced this until he was almost driven mad. His hard work had him pass he test top in his group so none of it was in vain.

Putting her annoyance aside, she started ordering the boy around once he was done. Yeseul had him show her the problem section move by move. Confident that she was older than him, she made sure to used her age as an authority figure. He just went along. He'd finished his practice schedule for day. All that was left was to sleep. Why sleep when you can dance is usally Yeonjun's mindset.

After an hour of getting the moves set in stone, Yeojun collapsed on the floor, breathing heavily an clapping, cheering between his breaths. "Woo!"  Yeseul bent over, her hands at her knees. She was starting to see stars after practicing it over and over for at least the last 10 minutes without a rest. Yeseul plopped on the floor next to him, drinking from her black water bottle. There was a few minutes of silence before Yeonjun glanced at the girl.
"Good job, stinky." he lifted his hand to give her a thumbps up. It took her a moment to realize what he'd said. Her widened eyes immediately turned into a squint as she replied,"What do you mean.. stinky? Huh!"
"Look at you! You're covered in sweat~" he teased. Yeseul scrunched her nose as she took a drink from her water bottle once more.
"Hey... thanks, by the way." She nodded, nibbling on her lip. Her actions earlier ran through her head as she realized that she was short-tempered with complete stranger. She went on to finish her sentence,"I'm Y-"
"Ah!" He sat up quickly, putting a finger to his lips. A playfully friendly smiled curled up at the corners of his mouth,"No names." Yeseul blinked in surprise.
            "But.. why..." she mumbles slowly.
"It's more fun that way, right?" he sat up and tilted his head, looking at the girl."Now we have code names. I'm Ears, right? And you're... stinky!"
The boy stood up from his spot and started making his way to the door. Thoroughly confused with his words, Yeseul sat and stared at him in silence. He turned and gave her one last piece of advice.
"Seriously, please go shower. You're drenched in sweat and that isn't good for your skin, right? Seeya!"

Due to their clashing schedules, they didn't see each other much. Yeonjun left and the end of the month and Yeseul at the end of the year, going their separate ways.

INTERACTIONS. It's a lot of fun boy likes girl, girls likes boy teasing and sarcasm. On the other side, it's long talks and sharing spicy rice cakes. This is THEIR snack that they always eat together. There's not a lot of skinship. It's mostly just hanging out and finding out more about eachother. Yeojun has a bad habit of becoming a bit more agressive with his sarcams when his other members are around which usually has a tendency to upset Yeseul.  She's quick to bring it up too, but not when everyone else is around. She likes to give him the fair opportunity to explain himself and realize what he is doing isn't fair. Their texts are labels in their respective nicknames "ears" and "stinky". They quite rarely, unless in a professional setting call each other by their first name.

STATUS. Good Friends
ENDING. It would be SUPER cute if they were together, BUT! I feel like it would be too soon in both of their careers for dating news to spread. I'll leave it up to this decision. Not together and close friends or together. Doesn't matter! :)
