2 hours
What happened yesterday is just ugh.
It was a very hot day yesterday and boy, I was sweating and it's icky. I could not wait to get inside the house and take a long, cold shower. I wanted to shout when I learned that I left my keys inside the house and the house is locked. I just wanted to kill anyone that time. After the shower, I planned to go have my picture taken for our forms but I couldn't because THE HOUSE IS LOCKED.
Our back door has this metal bars so that no one could easily get inside our house. and damn, that metal was padlocked. I could easily pick a door but not a padlock. I cursed at myself for not knowing how. but I still tried picking the lock.
I spent 2 hours trying to pick the lock, contemplating whether to break the window or not. I know I could have called my parents but my phone was inside the house. I went to the nearest payphone then only to find out that I have no idea what my mom or brothers or my dad's phone number.
But after 2 hours, which I felt like it was not, my mighty Dad fianlly arrived. I was soooo happy to see him but yeah... he got mad at me for being irresponsible. BLABLABLA.
I was on the verge of tears as I went inside. It is my responsibility to cook rice for them but since I was stuck outside, I was not able to cook and my dad scolded me again.
For me, trying to hold back tears might be my specialty, aside from trying to contain my feels.
2 HOURS IS NOT REALLY THAT LONG ESPECIALLY WHEN YOU ARE TRYING TO PICK A PADLOCK WITH A PAPERCLIP.
