Personality:

SangMin is an unpredictable, impulsive boy who doesn’t care so much about the consequences of his actions. Outgoing, y and charismatic, he loves attention and is a master at the art of social interaction. His crave for attention could be due to his parents absence during his childhood. He could be rather flamboyant and overwhelming, but that‘s just because he always have a lot to say, hundreds of ideas and opinions that he must shout out to the world about. He loves to converses and do appreciate an interesting discussion. Sangmin is a boy full of energy and have always something up his sleeve, he is not a prankster, but a bit opportunistic, he always have a reason why he does what he does, and always have some kind of plan. He is a real party animal and love to have fun! Even thought Sangmin keeps on reminding everybody how perfect and awesome he is, he too got some bad personal traits. Sangmin can seem really selfish and nagging with his self-assured and bossy attitude, but he only gives you advice for your own good, he is really caring and a good listener, and cherishes his friends from the bottom of his heart. Maybe that’s why many people ask him for consolation and tips of all sorts.

That Sangmin speaks before he thinks, that’s nothing new and it’s not that appreciated. But due to that habit, he hardly lies and would never talk about anyone.

Family, Friends, Rivals and Loves

 

Family:

-         Mother, Won HyoJin, 37 years old, she is very quiet and obedient, a houswife

-         Father, Ryu SeungPyo, 45 years old, he is very prude and old school, he works as the chief operating officer at an successful international trading company.

 

 

 Siblings:

SangMin doesn’t have any siblings at all, which makes him really lonely and a bit bored when he’s home all alone. He has always wished for a little baby brother but with no result. 

Family Background:

The Ryu family is a noble and respected family in the business world. On the outside they look like a normal all loving family, who loves and treasure their only son Sangmin holy, but the family isn’t that pure and tender as many people believe. Ryu SeungPyo the father and head of the Ryu family work as a chief operating officer, his high rank in the company makes his salary really high and the Ryu family is rich. Even thought they are rich they rarely show it, and to spoil Sangmin is unimaginable, they are a very strict and old school family. From the beginning the Ryu family comes from Gwangju a little town outside of Seoul, but when SeungPyo was young he moved to Seoul to seek money and fortune. The family had been rice farmers for over decades and SeungPyo didn’t want to live the rest of his life with peasants, he wanted to meet new people and travel around the world. When SeungPyo was 26 years old he married Won HyoJin, not due to love but business. One year later, HyoJin became pregnant. At that time SeungPyo worked hard and was at the golden age of his career, but HyoJin’s pregnancy was difficult and by caring the baby she risked her life. HyoJin and SeungPyo wasn’t in love with each other, they saw their marriage as their duty, but SeungPyo couldn’t stand the sight of his wife in pain and after a difficult labor which she barley made thru alive, they moved back to Gwangju so she could rest. Sangmin grew up in a very cold family, the parents didn’t love each other and they only saw Sangmin as the heir to the Ryu family’s wealth. Sangmin was very alone during his childhood and always wanted to play with someone. The parents was always working and they came home late at night, and when they had one day off, they only wanted to rest, and never played or took care of Sangmin. Everything became worse when his parents moved overseas to China; they left him in Gwangju where he had to live with his grand mother. He was ten years old, lonely, and with no friends. His parents came home during holidays, but Sangmin felt so abandoned when his parents moved to China and when he met them, he couldn’t really connect with them and they grew apart. Even thought they bought him small souvenirs from their trips, and they gave him expensive gifts during his birth day, Sangmin had understood at a very young age that this whole ‘happy family’ was only fake, and they basically didn’t care so much about him, they just took came home because the had to. Sangmin lived with his grand mother for five years, those five years where the most happiest and blessed years of his life. During those five years Sangmin met Sooyoung who became his best friend.

Seungri had left Gwangju to debut as a member of Big bang, and when Sangmin became fifteen years old he decided too, to move to Seoul and start chasing his dream of becoming an idol. His parent haven’t come back from China since Sangmin left for Seoul, they have only communicated thru the phone, and Sangmin’s father have no idea about his son’s choice of career. Sangmin knows that if his father ever finds out about his life as an idol he won’t be that supportive. SeungPyo might not make Sangmin quit the group but he would probably cut off all ties with him and never speak to his son again, which is probably worse. 

 

 Friends :

-         TOP, from Big bang, is like a role model for Sangmin, he is calm and mature

-          Ravi, 18, from VIXX, a funny and very charismatic boy, he is totally crazy and love to have fun just like Sangmin

-          Hyunseung, from beast, he is a nice and really random guy sometimes. They like to chill out and love to take a coffe together 

 

Friends background:

-         Sangmin met TOP thru Seungri; they have a special kind of relationship. They don’t need to talk to each other or do something together to have      fun; they can just sit down quiet and enjoy the other ones company without doing much.

-         Ravi and Sangmin have been friends since Sangmin came to Seoul. They where both trainees and they met at a party. They just had some kind     of connection when they first met. They both loved having fun, and when the two off them are together they turn everything to chaos.  

-        They met randomly at starbucks, the waiter had mixed up their orders, so Sangmin got Hyunseung coffee, and Hyunseung got Sangmin coffee. At first Sangmin didn’t realize it actually was Hyunseung from the famous boy band beast he was talking to, but when Hyungesung reviled himself Sangmin got the shock of his life. Hyungseung found Sangmin really interesting and funny, so they started to talk. And now they pretty much hang out every day when they have time, buying their favorite coffee at Starbucks.

 

Bestfriends:

-         Choi Sooyoung, from girl’s generation, she is nice and sweet, she is understanding and a great listener. If Sangmin have any problems    Sooyoung is the first one he would talk to.

 

Bestfriends background: 

Sooyoung was Sangmin’s grandmother’s neighbor. She often visited Sangmin’s grandmother and played in their big beautiful garden. Sooyoung and Sangmin attended the same school, but they where in different classes and they did not talk to each other.  Sangmin had a bad reputation at school and was known as a quiet and lonely weirdo who was creeping everybody out with his silent voice and stuttering. Sooyoung and Sangmin had met each other before, at his grand mother house when he visited her with his parents, and at school. But he had never talked to her; Sangmin was very shy as a young boy and didn’t even dare to speak to his classmates or boys in his own age, so speaking to a girl was out of the question. When Sangmin moved to his grandmother, Sooyoung started to approach him, little by little. She found the boy interesting, he may be a bit dull and timid, but as you got to know him better you discovered all his good traits, like his (slightly obsessive) love for red things, his passion for music and his drawing skills.

Sangmin and Sooyoung were only ten years old when they first met, but their first meeting would be the beginning of a hundred years old never ending friendship.  

Sooyoung was Sangmin’s savior when he was the loneliest, and now as the leader of elactric12 he wants his band members to feel protected, by him, just like Sooyoung was towards himself. He wants his band member to trust each other, share their tears and sorrow, joy and love. He wants the band to be just like a warm and happy family where everyone loves each other! And of course he wants electric12 to rise to the stars becoming famous idols, and shine as bright as the electric lightning bolts shooting in the sky.  

 

 

 

Rivals: Kim ‘key’ kimbum from SHINee

 

Reasons of being rivals: He actually doesn’t have a real reason why he hates Key, he just don’t like him. Maybe it’s because of his personality? Or his wardrobe size (Which is much bigger than Sangmin, and which Sangmin is really jealous off), maybe it’s because Key is really annoying when he is with Sangmin. Nobody knows how, but after Key and Sangmin’s first meeting, Key got Sangmin’s phone number mysteriously and now he wont stop calling Sangmin, he keep on asking questions like ‘Have you eaten?’, ‘What are you doing?’ and ‘I miss you’ which is getting on Sangmin’s nerves. And as soon as the boys met, Key is always teasing him,  pinching his Dongsaengs cheeks, doing aegyo and keep on telling Sangmin how cute he is and how much he wants to kiss him. Sangmin likes when people praises him but Key is just TOO much, and he treat him like a little baby!

 

Plan on reconciling?: Someday, when Key for once can take Sangmin seriously.

 

Love interest: He have mixed feelings towards his hyung Lee seunghyun (aka Seungri)

 

How did you met him?: Seungri and Sangmin came from the same city. Their love for music and dance brought them together. Seungri was known in their city for being part of the dance group Il hwa and Sangmin who also danced was there biggest fan. They soon met, because it was a little city and Sangmin was making a name for himself, he was getting more popular in their town because of his singing and dance skills. They met and Seungri felt responsible for the young and shy thirteen year old boy, so he decided to teach Sangmin everything he knew about dance and song. Seungri was everything Sangmin wanted to be, he was handsome, funny, a great singer and even a greater dancer! Sangmin grew very found of Seungri, and when he became older, unknown feeling started to swell up in his chest every time he met his cheerful hyung. Was it love or just adoration? He did not know, he had never felt these kinds of emotions before and was confused by these feelings. But something he new for sure was that Seungri only saw Sangmin as his favorite dongsaeng, and nothing more.

How did you meet him? : Sangmin met Key at SMTown live 10 world tour, where Sangmin was a back up dancer for TVXQ. They bumped in to each other and naturally started talking, they both shared a passion for fashion and they had much in common. Sangmin’s feelings towards Key was neutral, but when Key suddenly got Sangmin’s cell phone number and started to send him an immense number of messages, he wished he had never met that man. But in the near future, the hate for his Hyung would slowly turn into a crazy and funny romance.

Any drama that have fashion as a theme, maybe fashion king or baby faced beauty, I love those dramas! I would love to play in a drama or movie with one of my friends; it would be fun and an awesome experience!

2PM’s hands up or beast beautiful night!

 

3. If you can be the ambassador of a brand, which brand and with who?

It’s so hard to choose! There are so many awesome and cool brands out in the world! I think I would be the ambassador for Bean pole, and I would want to do it with Seungri hyung or maybe TOP, because he is really photogenic and hot!

 

4. If you can sing a song for ost, which song and for which story?

I have no idea, maybe ‘say yes’ with T-max from boys over flower. I like that song, it’s catchy.

 5. If you can duet, with who?

IU, it would be cool to do some kind of collaboration with her! She has a beautiful voice and I think our voices really fit together!

6. If you can be in the variety show, which show?

 Totally running man! It’s so funny! Hello baby would be nice to; I’ve always wanted a little brother!

7. What you will do if the netizens throw you some bad news about your group or about you?

First off all, my band members (and me) would never do something bad, I trust them and they are good people! But if it would happen I guess I would be a little angry and disappointed at them and myself. I would feel guilty, telling myself that I could’ve prevent the incident, or could do something about the bad news.  I would apologize to my fans and try to make up to my hyungs and dongsaengs.

I want Seungri to break Sangmin’s heart in TOUSAND pieces!!! >:D                                                                                                                                                               No. I’m just joking, but I really don’t want them to be together in the end. (Maybe Key could later try to cheer up Sangmin, if you know what I mean ≖‿≖). And a scene when Sangmin’s father discovers what his son has been doing the latest three years, would be cool.

Electric12, the new boy band who will be debuting the 14 June. It’s collaboration between pledis and starship entertainment, and the expectations are high for the twelve boys. Sangmin, or Blaze, a boy from the little insignificant town Gwangju, will soon debut as one of those twelve. We on Crazystereo magazine will be interviewing this handsome and charismatic young lad.

 

CS: How does it feel to soon be debuting?

 

Blaze: It feels great; we have trained and worked so hard for this! I’ve always dreamed about becoming a singer and now when my dream is only a grasp away I can’t feel anything but excitement!

 

CS:  Where did you come up with the name Blaze?

 

Blaze: Well blaze is another more "fancy" word for flame. The name describes my personality and my never ending will to become an idol. The name Blaze portrays my soul, the untouchable and forever burning passion for music! 

 

CS: If you could be someone else for a whole day, who would you be?

 

Blaze: I would totally be G-dragon! He is so rich! I would spend all his money and do, like, what ever I wanted! *evil grin*. Or I might be Key, and do plenty of bad stuff with his body and ruining his life, MUHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!

 

CS: Zombie apocalypse, what do you do?

 

Blaze: Hide and then seek for shelter! I would pack a bag full of necessary survival stuff, protect my friends from the brain thirsty zombies and fight to my last breath!

Blaze: Only three? You could never describe my personality with ONLY three words! Anyway, I would say, fashion king, wild and totallyingamazingandawesome

Suggestions: You could write some kind of scene where all the members start to fight. They could start some kind of subgroup, like EXO-M and K. Just some ideas, you don’t necessarily have to do it, but a fight of some sort would indeed be interesting.
