The problem with writing long stories...
Is that they take longer to finish, therefore you cannot write as much and get them completed as often.
Maybe it's because I personally like long stories to read. I don't mind one or two/shots because I have written both but I find I like stories that are at least 10 chapters in length.
If you want to be a serious writer then you have to write long. Most stories are between 10 to 'x' number of chapters depending on the length of the plot. Tbh I don't take notice of word count much but more rather the page or chapter length OTL.
I started writing novel-length stories before I got into fanfics so maybe that's part of the reason.
For anyone who wants to know about updates I am pausing Joker of Hearts for another week because of a little something I'm doing but so far no one seems to have entered which makes me a little sad.
And I'm getting The Mediator reviewed because one it's crap is so deep I need someone else to wade through the filth and find out what's wrong with it.
But Seraphim is getting started up again. I realise the dangers of putting a story on hold for too long. People forget it exists and so no one comments or subscribes. If I was popular then it may be different but I'm not going to cry over what I don't have (much ;___;)
Shame I cannot write longer blog posts. Have a good week ^^
