Fashion Style: Casually, HyoMin prefers shorts and comfortable top over girly dresses or skirts. The only time anyone could see her wearing anything feminine or cute is when there are probably proms or dinners which a dress code is given for anyone is attending. Even with a dress code, she would slip in her own style and change the heels to sneakers or flats instead. HyoMin is quite the lazy girl when it comes to anything other than tennis. She would be lazing around when it's on weekends at home when she is not in training session and hope that school would end quickly when it comes to weekdays so she could head off to the courts to sweat herself. This girl is totally an athletic girl especially when it comes to tennis. Yup, when you see her on court, she definitely has that 360 degree turn of character. You could hear her shouts and cheers with the squeaking sound of her favourite Nike shoes. Or sometimes you could see HyoMin sweating herself off at the school gym during P.E since she is left alone to do what she pleases because of her title as the national player. You can say that her title is quite valuable to the school, and the Principal is intending to keep HyoMin pleased. This girl is quite the stubborn one. When she decides on something, there's no way making her turn back on her decision. Not even her parents could do anything about it. She does what she wants but in the end, she would respect her elders and stop being the selfish and stubborn girl she is and listens to her parents.

All in all, HyoMin search for quality over quantity. Being the slightly popular and well-known figure, HyoMin would sometimes be surrounded by fans or people pretending to be her friends. She would opt for a girl who is sincere, friendly and understanding. First of all, she needs sincerity because she has been back-stabbed so many times by people who she considers as friends and she felt really hurt. Secondly, she likes girls who are friendly and does not choose who their friend would be. And she looks for an understanding person. She is always away from school for tours and extensive trainings, so sometimes, she would need her friends' support and sometimes she does feel lonely and would need them to cheer her up.

Background:

Growing up with strict parents, HyoMin would always try to make her parents proud of her. She is not really intelligent as her marks are quite the average, but she tries hard not to fail. Then she is introduced to the world of tennis by her dad; where she learns so many new things and she likes the challenge it gives her physically and mentally. She would train really hard but her parents would not let her become a professional at first but later on when Lu Han spotted her at one of the local tournaments when she was younger, he approached HyoMin and her family and told her that she has a potential and Lu Han would help her. HyoMin's parents promised that if she could win the first major tournament she enters, her parents would allow her to be a part of the tennis team. When Lu Han introduced HyoMin to her coach, a stern yet good lookinng Daniel Henney as coach and personal trainer, she trains even harder and joined the first ever junior tournament in Malaysia. She sailed her way through the finals and won; with much difficulty against an 18-year-old Turkmenistan player. Her parents then allow her to pursue tennis even further but she still has to promise them to go attend school and graduate.

Lifestyle:

HyoMin lives with her parents in their bungalow at a 15 minutes drive distance from school. There are only 3 people in her family and HyoMin would consider her family as moderate. But with the incomes she gets from advertisements and endorsements plus winning tournaments, she could as well buy things that she wants without asking from her parents. But considering that she has a coach and Lu Han, she let him manages her earnings and trust that he will do his job well with handling the money.

Personality > Quiet is what people see in L when they first saw him. He is a guy of few words but when he says something, it sure means a lot or it's just that you are his friend and he values his friends very much. With his quiet demeanor, he observes people well and from this he could understand people easily. He is an understanding person who would not judge you yet tries to understand the real you. The reason why many likes to be friends with him is that he does not jump into conclusions and would think things through. Even when people mess around with him, he would stay calm and try to analyze the situation. L is also a well-known nature lover. If you look through his collection of pictures, you could see that his pictures mostly concern of beautiful images of the scenery and it would always include a beautiful person in the image. Many envy him for his potential on taking great photographs, but to him, it's just his way of enjoying the beauty of God's creation.

HyoMin accidentally caught L taking a picture of her while she was playing tennis at a local tennis club with her coach together with her manager. At the exact moment her turned to him, he snapped the picture and even as a candid, it came out really well. Lu Han approached L to ask if he was from a newspaper company or something but HyoMin saved him by saying that it's just her friend from school. L was very surprised with her confession on him as a friend since they don't really know each other well although he had secretly took pictures of the girl for quite some times. She asked for a break and slowly approached L, who looked like he would evaporate any moment. But HyoMin slowly asks if it's alright for her to see the picture since it maybe her own picture. Indeed it is when HyoMin saw it, and he even scrolled to a few other shots he took while she was on court. HyoMin had pointed out several points which L also noticed and they chatted for a while until Lu Han came around to tell her that break time was over. While at school, they would have lunch together sometimes at the rooftop when he found out about her hideout during lunch; dozing off under the blazing sun. He would bring along two huge umbrellas that would provide them both shade and he would hand her the bread he bought for two to HyoMin. And sometimes, during Physical Ed or when both of them have free periods, they could be seen at the gym, laughing and working out together.

Lu Han is an uncle of Tao and they are quite close to each other. When he first came to Seoul, he found out that his uncle works as a manager of a national tennis player and he is to be schooled with the girl. HyoMin's first impression on him was of a panda and when she voiced out her thoughts to Lu Han, the two of them cracked up. Tao was puzzled by their reactions and Lu Han explained it to him in slower and formal Korean added with Chinese, to be specific, in Mandarin. Tao had smiled and liked the girl from that very moment. As for HyoMin, Lu Han who never asks for help from others actually asked HyoMin to take a good care of Tao and if possible help him to brush up in his Korean. HyoMin really like the fact that he is hardworking at what he does. Tao is also the understanding type where he does not fuss over HyoMin since he knows that she is sometimes tired of her trainings and he would come up to her with his specially blended juice which he says with some broken Korean that it would give her the energy she needs. She is always charmed by his understanding nature and enjoys Tao's company.

How do you wear your uniform? > HyoMin wears it like any normal student would, she doesn't break the rules and not intending to. At school, she has to set her image right since people are always on their toes to pint out her flaw

What about your future? > HyoMin hopes to become a professional tennis player and when she grows older, she would opt to open a tennis academy

Anything else? > If she couldn't become a professional, she could attend Education Universities and major in Physical Education. As for her side job, she would have Lu Han to settle that for her until he stops becoming her manager

So tell me what's your secret? > Hmm. HyoMin's secret would be that she actually wishes that she could dress up more girly but she has no sense at all when it comes to fashion. And she thinks that maybe L could read minds since when they decided to hang out during weekends, he would always drag her into designer or clothes shops and make her try each and every one of the clothes he coordinated.

How do you treat Myungsoo? > He is always making her laugh at his randomness when initially he was all quiet and she was too lazy to say anything. At school, they would not be really close as they are outside of school. L respects her privacy and he understood how much her peers were giving her the pressure she does not need. She would always smile when people gave her things and asked for her autographs, and L would always be carried away by the sea of crowd. HyoMin would always feel guilty most of the time, and later after school, before she goes to court to train, she would always spend some time with him and give him all her attention

Is there something only he does know about you? > Most of the thing that L knows about her is also known to the public. HyoMin's life is like an open book and she could not do anything but to accept the life that she wishes to lead. It's not that bad, but oh well, she does not care really, she's just lazy to think about other things. But L does know that she is just lazy to dress her self up but wants to do so. So that's why when they hang out, he would pretend like he wants to have fun dressing her up when the truth is that he wants to help her get all pretty since all she knew about in her whole life is only tennis.

How did you guys met? > They met during one of HyoMin's training session and that L just came back from school from a photography club meeting. He was surprised to see her there.

He never saw her there before and HyoMin was there since Lu Han suggested that she tries

different courts so that she could adapt to different types of court when her new tour starts.

How does he treat your love interests/does he get along with them? > Being the understanding guy he is, L gets along just fine with Tao and sometimes the three could even be seen together although Tao is already a senior. He would sometimes help Tao in his Korean since HyoMin is sometimes busy and absent from school from probably an extra training before an important match comes up.
