EXO Highlight Medleys

Oh my god. Oh my god. It's actually happening.

I cried. I cried real tears and wanted to throw up from excitement.

My favorite clips were "Wolf", "Let Out The Beast", "Heart Attack", "Baby", and "My Lady."

The only thing I'm worried about is that a good half of this album sounds super pop-like and the vocals are edited a bit more than I'd like.

The songs I'm excited for the most, all appear to have a more hip-hop/r&b vibe which I think with EXO's singers, they'll pull off extremely well. I mean, Kyungsoo, especially, you know he'll belt those notes out like no other.

However, it seems the EXO sound I fell in love with has been pushed aside. This album basically feels like a weaker version of MAMA, with sounds I've felt I've heard before and could go to other kpop groups to hear. But I hope to be proven wrong because I truly want this to be the best release of this year.

"Baby Don't Cry" and "My Lady" sound different than I expected. From the original teasers, I was never a big fan of them since I'm picky about ballads but these new clips have impressed me.

"365" is definitely my least favorite at the moment. It's got such a cheesy edge, I think it'd be more suitable for a younger group and not 20 year olds.

I don't think I ever heard the leak version of "Wolf", but from all the jokes there were about it, I thought it was gonna be absolutely terrible but nope, I like it. The bass, the crickets, the dubstep touch, all pleasing to my ears.

It'll be interesting to see what songs are picked as singles and end up with MVs because MAMA choreography was filled with hard, precise, dance moves and not much story-line but I don't see that happening with these new tracks.

I do have a fear that EXO's long break may have hyped them up too much and fans could be disappointed and hate this album and other people that have heard so much about EXO and are going to use this album to get into them, will be like "This is it? This is what everyone was talking about? Really?"

So yeah. There's my spiel.
