Description: One thing interesting about Eunkyung is that, even though she's full Korean, she has bright blue eyes. Her father had ocular albinism and the gene was passed on to Eunkyung. Everyone often stares at her eyes due to their bright color, which makes Eunkyung slightly uncomfortable. She also has a scar above her left , which is explained the background section.
Style:
Eunkyung's style is very simple. She enjoys wearing shorts when it's warm out and jeans when it's cold. She also likes to wear heels, especially ankle boots. She'll wear ankle boots during any weather and sandals with a heel/wedge when it's warm out. As for shirts, Eunkyung hates tops that are really tight and revealing. She really doesn't like tight tank tops or tight T-shirts. She'll wear a tank top underneath a loose sweater, but not on its own. She's more conservative and doesn't like showing cleavage, afraid that the shirt might slip and reveal a bit more. She likes skirts and dresses as long as they aren't too tight/revealing. She enjoys wearing necklaces and sometimes bracelets. She doesn't have her ears pierced, so she usually doesn't wear earrings. Whenever she does wear earrings, they're clip ons. She alos likes to wear headbands and, sometimes, hats.

` The Closer You Get, The More I Hurt You

Personality: Eunkyung is very kind and caring. She’s a hard worker and a determined young girl. She is emotionally sensitive, but doesn’t let it show. She always appears strong and assertive. She hates admitting weakness and prefers to fight through any pain that is thrown at her. If Eunkyung ever complains about anything, then you should listen because something is really wrong. She is very easy-going until it comes to something that she really cares about, then she will stand up and fight for herself or the thing/person she cares about. Eunkyung is also a very smart person. She’s very observant and good at reading people’s emotions. She’s able to pick up on situations very quickly and resolve them. She’s great at drawing conclusions and is excellent at solving puzzles. If she were to take a modern day IQ test, her score would be about a 170.
Eunkyung is rather introverted. She doesn’t like to share her feelings and prefers to keep all of her own worries to herself. She is shy around new people and finds it hard to keep conversations with people she doesn’t know. She loves helping people and wants to make sure nobody in the world is sad. She will easily sacrifice her own happiness for someone else’s. It’s hard for her to say no to people, so that makes it easy for people to take advantage of her. She’s always willing to share and help people in need. Even so, Eunkyung is very competitive. When she is put in a competitive situation, a fire lights within her that nobody can quench. She will keep going until she collapses in order to win. However, if she loses, Eunkyung will be very kind and congratulate the winner with a sincere heart. But, she takes her loss as motivation to work harder to win next time. She has a lot of fight in her and strives to be perfect, even though she knows she isn’t. She’s a perfectionist with herself, but not with others. She can easily accept other’s faults, but not her own, and it drives her crazy. She works hard to try and hide her imperfections, and she’s very good at hiding them from others, but they’re always there, of course, and she easily sees them. She’s also very humble, and becomes embarrassed by compliments.
While Eunkyung is a kind, strong, humble, diligent girl, she’s also stubborn, self-critical, and a perfectionist. She hates fighting and tries her best to keep people from arguing. She has a soft spot for animals and children, loves music, and is extremely smart. Eunkyung's personality is one that just blends in with the others, which makes her great for her job – spying.

History: Eunkyung's story begins with her father's story. Her time was during the Joseon Dynasty, in the late 1500s. While her family had noble blood, they fell out of nobility due to her father's illness as a child - ocular albinism. Back then, nobody knew what was wrong with his eyes and why they were a bright blue color. His father had tried killing him as an infant, but his mother protected him. People in his town constantly beat him and tortured him, claiming that he had the soul of the devil showing through his eyes. They called him a monster and ridiculed him. He could not attend school because of his illness. So, when he was ten years old, his mother packed him up, left their home and his father, and moved to a trading port - Busan.
In Busan, things weren't much different. The kids and threw stones at him. He would go home everyday with bruises on his face and body. His mother worried for him, but there was nothing she could do. She taught him kindness, and told him that he had to prove to the other kids that he was not the devil - that he was a kind person. He would go out everyday to help the people working at the port and the workers came to see past his blue eyes and liked him. While the kids still , and even some elders also feared him, he made many friends with the workers at the port and was even able to get himself a job, a wife, and a new life.
Eunkyung was born on October 6, 1575 as the second child, the second daughter. Unfortunately, as soon as she opened her eyes, her father knew what life held for her, and he did not like it. She lived a hard life, always being teased and criticized for her blue eyes. The other kids would call her a devil and a monster. They would beat her up and throw stones at her, telling her to go die, just like the kids did to her father when he was her age. However, just like his mother had done with him, Eunkyung's father taught her to be kind. He taught her to make friends with kindness, not act the same way as those kids who made her feel bad. Eunkyung would always be kind, and the adults who knew her father were always kind and giving to her. She learned from them and became kind to everyone. She learned how to read when a person liked her and how to understand what people would tell her. She learned to read the bullies who were going to hurt her and run before they could. Until she knew you weren't a threat, she was very reserved, but nice and giving - always kind. She made one or two friends through her kindness, and her older sister, Eunmi, always protected her from bullies. Eunkyung was very grateful for her sister and her father, who always took care of her and taught her kindness.
However, Eunkyung's improving life was about to take a turn for the worst. On May 23rd, 1592, when Eunkyung was just 16 years old, a fleet of Japanese soldiers arrived in Busan, demanding passage to China. The people at the port refused, and the commander of the fleet ordered his soldiers to kill the people. One of those people was Eunkyung's father. The next day, a fleet of Korean soldiers had arrived to defend Busan, but they were overwhelmed. Eunkyung and Eunmi worked to gather their things and leave with their mother, but when they were leaving with many other citizens, they were caught in the battle. Many people were killed, and Eunkyung witnessed it all. She heard the screams, saw the flying arrows, and ran through the spilled blood. However, when an arrow suddenly flew near them, aiming straight for Eunmi, Eunkyung jumped in the way of it, protecting her older sister and catching it right in the heart. Her mother and sister stayed by her side for as long as they could before Eunkyung demanded that they left, telling them that there was nothing they could do for her and they had to leave before they died too. They left, and Eunkyung died in the burning streets, alone. But, she was happy, because she died for her sister, whom she loved very much.

` Never Forget Love

Love interest: Zhang Yixing (Lay - EXO-M)
Back-up love interest(s): Jung Ilhoon (BTOB)
Heavenly Virtue/Deadly Sin: Envy

Birthday ; Age: October 7th | 17
Ethnicity: Chinese
Nationality: Chinese
Personality: Yixing is very sneaky and manipulative. He's the kind of person who can pretend to be your friend, but immediately stab you in the back. He has many flaws to his character and he hates them, but wouldn't want it any other way. He's very envious of things and can be enraged very easily. However, despite being easily jealous and angered, he's able to control his emotions well so that it doesn't show. Yixing is also very stubborn, not being able to listen to reason. He wants everything out there, but can't have it, and that makes him jealous of whoever has what he wants. His manipulative side helps him get what he wants, but it still isn't enough.
Despite these flaws, Yixing is also very smart. He's able to learn quickly and can pick up on habits and people's emotions. He's able to read a person's face and understand their feelings without them even speaking a word. He's very observant and sees things many people don't. Because he's able to control his inner feelings, he's able to act like any person someone may want. However, because he's so manipulative, he's still able to spread his jealousy out there and make others feel his pain.
Yixing is also competitive. His competitiveness comes from his insatiable desire to want everything, which also includes wanting to be the best. He works hard at what he does and is excellent at it. He loves dancing and is one of the best dancers in the school, but he's still envious of Eunkyung's fluid dancing ability. Sometimes, when Yixing is with people who know him, he ends up losing control of his emotions, and he hates doing that. He hates having no control over his emotions and needs control at all times.
Overall, Yixing is very smart, manipulative, jealous, angered, controlling, stubborn, and competitive.
History: Yixing was born in Yuxi, Yunnan Province, China in 1850. He was born into a peasant family that had very little money to spend. They lived in an old shack and could barely afford to put food on the table. Despite all of this, they still tried to love their children as much as they could. So, his father was able to raise enough money to send Yixing to a school so that he could learn how to read and write. However, this plan backfired on Yixing parents when he ended up going to school and was teased for being brought up in such a lowly family.
Yixing had no friends. He had no one to talk to. He was bullied everyday and became envious of the children who had money to spend. He became envious of the children who got good grades and didn't have to work at the age of ten to help make money for his family. He was envious of the children who had normal childhoods while his was flawed, all because of his parents. He hated his parents for forcing this life on him and he always wanted more for himself. However, Yixing could not hate his parents much longer, for in 1855, the bubonic plague spread through Yixing's province in China.
The plague didn't reach his town until 1862, when Yixing was twelve years old. His mother caught the plague and died a month after catching it. Yixing watched as his mother's body was thrown into the pile of many other bodies, known to people as "just another victim." He also watched as noble victims were given fancy funerals for their passing, and he, once again, became envious of what nobles could do. His father became an alcoholic after his mother's death and would beat Yixing. Yixing was forced to quit school, and his envy for his classmates only grew more, as they were able to continue school and he was not. Yixing was simply a child with so much loss that he envied those who had so much gain. One day, Yixing walked by his old school on his way to work and one of his old classmates saw him. He and a bunch of his friends approached him and started to bully him, calling him a loser for not even being able to finish school. They criticized him and his family. Yixing didn't care about their criticism, but all he could think about was how jealous he was. In a fit of rage, Yixing pushed the bully down. They fought and the bully's friends stood back and watched. WIthout thinking, Yixing picked up a rock and hit the bully's head over and over again, wanting him to shut up and wanting him to have nothing, just like Yixing had. It wasn't until the bully's friends pulled Yixing off of him that he had realized what he'd done - he had killed him. Yixing ran away as fast as he could, not wanting to see their faces anymore. He couldn't stand them, and he couldn't stand what they had.
In 1868, when Yixing was 17, almost eighteen years old, he caught the bubonic plague that was still spreading. He fought for as long as he could, always thinking about what his death would do to the world. His father had no remorse for him and he knew that he would just be thrown into the pile of victims with his mother. He knew that noble coffins would pass by his corpse, being honored as great men while nobody would even glance at him - not even his own father. Yixing's envy only grew as he thought about his death. At the end of his life, the only thoughts that passed through his head were jealous ones, and he hated everyone in the world for it. He remembered that bully that he had killed, and he remembered everything about his life. It was then, seconds before his death, that Yixing realized that his death would do nothing to the world. Nobody would be affected by his death, and, once again, he envied the people who did have an effect on the world.

How you met: I like how they met in the plotline, but I want to add to that. After they meet on the streets, they meet again in the Dance Club. Eunkyung approaches Yixing and speaks to him, but he sneers at her and brushes her off. She is then asked to dance a small combo, and he becomes jealous of her dancing skills, but he is also intrigued by her (and her blue eyes, of course).
How you guys act around each other: Eunkyung and Yixing both have something very important in common - they cannot read each other. Because they're both very good at reading people, they both react differently to the fact that they cannot read each other's feelings and facial expressions. Eunkyung finds him intriguing and always wants to talk to him. He is one of the only people that she cannot read and analyze, and she finds that very odd. She is, obviously, very kind to him and wants to befriend him in order to get to know him better. However, Yixing is cold to her, constantly complaining and being jealous of her dancing skills, looks, and personality. Eunkyung won't quit though and continues to pursue his friendship. Even though she's very kind to him, there are times when she becomes frustrated and scolds him. One of the most interesting things that Eunkyung notices about Yixing is that he is the only person who has never commented on Eunkyung's eyes. Everyone Eunkyung meets says something about her eyes (sometimes good, sometimes bad), but Yixing has never said a word. He notices them though, and he doesn't want to admit it, but he's entranced by them and jealous of her individuality.
Extra scene requests:
-A scene where Eunkyung takes pictures of Yixing, who is hanging out by the river (if there's no river, then just a park or something naturey(?)). She takes the pictures, develops them, and keeps them in a safe place
-A scene where Yixing sees Eunkyung talking with Sungyeol and becomes suddenly enraged. He approaches Eunkyung and questions her. They argue and during the argument, he finally opens up to her and tells her he loves her. She responds that she also loves him and they kiss (ssooo original, right? ;))
-A scene where Yixing sees Eunkyung with her friend, Taemin, and becomes jealous. He interrupts and Taemin leaves them alone only for Yixing to grill her on who Taemin was to her. Eunkyung tries to explain, but Yixing is too enraged and jealous to listen, so she walks away, telling him that she will tell him everything when he's ready to listen
-A scene where they make up and live happily ever after? xD
