About Myself

My name is Anne. I'm thirteen years old, and I live in Canada (which is why my spelling might be different sometimes), although I was born in Korea. My birthday is March 1st. 

I love reading, and I always have. My favourite moments are when I stay up late reading the latest novel; I love the feeling I get when I flip page after page into well past midnight, wanting to read and keep reading until I know exactly how the book ends. 

I also have an unexplainable love for K-Pop. All I know is that I was mesmerized by EXO when they debuted, and ever since then, I've fallen in love with group after group as I learn more about them. My biases right now are Myungsoo of Infinite and Taemin of SHINee. (So cute~)

I don't have any experience being a reviewer on Asianfanfics, although I have lots of experience editing stories and essays of my friends. I can catch small mistakes that most people miss, and I know I can be a good reviewer. (Not to sound cocky or anything, but I've been told by many that confidence is key ^O^)

Top Three Favourite Stories

The thing is, I haven't been on Asianfanfics for too long, and I've only been really active for the past few months. I haven't gotten to read too many fanfictions... so the ones included are the my favourites of the ones I've read so far. 

1. Eragon by Christopher Paolini (Novel)

Eragon incorportated all sorts of genres: adventure, fantasy, romance, magic... It kept me reading with interest; there was not one part of the story that was boring or uninteresting. The whole novel was full of excitement. I just can't get over the characters ^o^ It incorporates a young fierce dragon that acts like a human teenager, a fifteen year old boy who has the curiousity of a child and an incredibly old man with the physique of a someone no older than 30. I've read it so many times; I just can't get enough of it! 

2. My Next-Door Idiot by Lambchop

I absolutely adore this story. IT'S SO FLUFFFFYYYY XD It's honestly the fluffiest, cutest, most romantic fanfiction I have ever read. I just couldn't stop smiling at all of the cute moments while reading this story. Sigh~ It's just so interesting!

3. Seducing Mr. Pauper by muzikmaster

This is another really cute story! I haven't read it completely yet, because I only started reading it a few weeks ago and it has like 56 chapters, but I already love it! The characters are just so amazing! It is a really interesting and unique story, and very enjoyable to read. 

Favourite Genre

For some reason, my favourite genre is different when reading novels and fanficitons. I have no idea why; but I really enjoy reading paranormal romance novels, while I love to read comedy/fluff fanfictions. I just really like reading fluffy stories, it makes me feel all nice and warm inside XD I'm fine with any genre, really... I would say that my least favourite, though, is angst. Reading about depressing stuff makes me feel depressed ^^

1-3 Pieces I Am Most Proud Of

I don't have three pieces... In terms of fanfictions on AFF, I only have one. I used to have two, but I deleted one of them due to personal reasons. 

The Pretty Boys

I am currently writing this fanfiction with my friend Candy238. I am proud of it, it took us a while to plan it out and there are people enjoying the story here on AFF. It warms my heart when people comment or subscribe ^^ ~ <3

Favourite Pairs/Groups

Hmm... Well, I ship Kyumin (hence my username) and Myungzy, but I don't really look for stories with those pairings; I'm fine with reading a story with any parings... and for groups, I personally like it when Infinite is in a story but again, I'm fine with anything.

Review - Plan B

Title

I like the title! It fits with the story nicely, and it definitely caught my attention! It's unique, and I love how it relates to the ending.  

Forward and Description

The description is nice and simple, and does give the reader a vague description of the story, but I think it's a little too short. It's only one sentence.

"Seo Joohyun has everything planned out, but when nothing goes as planned; Yoona will always be there to help."

The semicolon is unnecessary. It could just be, "but when nothing goes as planned, Yoona will always be there to help."

You could be a little bit more descriptive. I know it's a oneshot, and the descriptions should be simple, but you could still add something more. I think the "Yoona will always be there to help" part is a little bit awkward. You could change it up a bit:

"Seo Joohyun has everyday of her life perfectly planned out. Yoona is the opposite and spontaneous; she hates planning out what she's going to do next. However, one day, when nothing is going the way Joohyun planned, Yoona steps in to help." 

I don't know, something more like that... I know that was horrible but you get the jist: just be a little bit more descriptive. The description should always make readers wonder about what's next, and make them want to read on.

The forward usually gives a little bit snippet of the story, but because this is a oneshot, a quick and short author's note is acceptable. 

All in all, though, the forward and description are nice and simple, and I like that.

Visual Appearance

Everything is nice and neat, which is always good. It was organized and easy for me to read. A poster is optional, but it's always better to have one than not. 

Plot/Storyline

The whole story is very well written. It was very descriptive, so I could imagine everything in my head as I was reading. I think it's a very unique storyline - Joohyun has everything planned out perfectly, and one day it just doesn't work out. I really like that it didn't just end with Joohyun and Yoona riding off into the daylight or something like that, but you told the readers how it all worked out in the end, and how Joohyun tutors Yoona after school and everything like that. I really really REALLY enjoyed reading your story! 

Characters

I love your characters! I love how Yoona has a shy but spontaneous personality, she reminds me a little bit of myself, since I'm a bit like that. I also love Joohyun's personality: she's shy and introverted and cute, and this perfectly organized person. She reminds me of my best friend Candy ^^ Overall, I really loved your characters; they're not the typical "rich-and-pretty" girl, or the even more common "poorer-than-poor pretty girl." They're believable characters, and I really feel like I can relate to them. I also liked how the characters stayed in character, and kept their personalities. It really annoys me when a person will have one personality one chapter, and they will become someone else in another chapter. Unless it's done on purpose because that person is living a double-life or something, it really annoys the heck out of me. I really your characters, I really feel as if you took them out of your own life, because you described so well how they felt about everything. 

Flow

I really liked how the story flowed. Throughout your story, I got to know about Joohyun and Yoona's relationship with eachother, while the story moved on naturally. Nothing felt rushed, everything moved at a perfect pace. There's nothing else I can say besides GREAT JOB! 

Writing

Your style of writing is awesome. :P You described everything so well in such a subtle way, so that I was learning about everything even when Yoona was delivering a single line. I don't know if you get what I mean, but WOWOW! I also love your use of vocabulary; you used all kinds of words that I didn't even know, and I love that you didn't use the same words to describe everything, because that can get annoying sometimes. I also really liked it when you put one line in its single paragraph, so it's really powerful and I can feel the strength of its meaning. XD Don't know if you understand what I mean there either, but your story was really awesome. ^^

Personal Enjoyment

I really enjoyed reading your story. It was perfect in every way. My emotions were being pulled for Yoona, I felt like I was watching a movie XD I was just wishing for everything to work out. Awesome story! It's just incredible ^o^

Subscribe? Y/N

I didn't subscribe, just because I really like more fluffy stories, where it's full of romance and comedy. It was a really good story, but it just wasn't my favourite style.
