DIARY: being grateful

This post has nothing to do with my stories, BEAST, and AFF.
As what the title said, it's a random post about being grateful in life.

I am 20 years old this year, currently studying Information Systems and I will be graduated on June/July 2012.
But, if everything goes smoothly, I will finish my study on February 2012.

Talking about graduation means talking about your future. Your job. Your continuation as a grown up.

Being the only daughter in my family, I brought up this topic with my mother this evening and looks like we have completely different perspectives of life.
My parents love me so much that they want me to have a good job, earn money, and live happily.

The thing is I realize that my passion is not working around computer or technology term.
Instead I have interests in Human Resources Development, which is totally the opposite of my major's aim.

In my opinion, after 3 years studying as a university student, I think the lessons we learn in our majors are not the core of attending universities.
You need knowledge. You need network. You need to learn how the world actually is.

It's because I attended Information Systems major, I know what my passion is.
I met interesting persons, experienced new things, worked for various environment.

But please don't get it wrong. It doesn't mean you don't need to study hard.
I'm trying my best here as well because I believe we need to do our best in everything so we will never regret our past.

My point is that I'm always grateful that I can learn new thing from new experience.
Your future is not something that you can direct in a second but a second can change your life for sure.
It's alright if you feel dilemma or confused about your future;
take your time but remember that time is not something you can take back again.

Use it wisely.
And, remember, be grateful.

Have a blessed day. :)
