naturally, rei is a shy and quiet girl. she doens't really find much need in talking much, since she believes that actions speak louder than words. but if she's really close to someone, she'd speak alot more. it's not surprising that rei finds it hard to express her love to the people around her. she finds it awkward to just say 'i love you' to her friends or family - she rarely ever says that to her parents or brothers. which also means that she rarely says 'i love you'  to the fans. she would normally just make a heart with her hands when expressing her love to fans, and she'd hug her friends or family when expressing her love to them. even though she likes hugging people, she isn't really into skinship. she doesn't holding hands, neither does she like it when people put their arms around her waist. rei also doesn't express her care and concern very well. for example, if her friend is cutting food, and she's worried that he/she might injure him/herself, she'd push the person out of the way and go 'why not i do it instead', instead of saying 'be careful, that knife is sharp'

when rei meets new people, she would bow to them, but not say anything at all. because she doesn't talk alot, and normally doesn't have any expression on her face, she might be misunderstood for being rude, or not wanting to be near that person. she also has the tendency to keep a small distance between herself and the people she's just met. one would think that being such a quiet girl, she'd also be meticulous and hardworking. but they're completely mistaken. rei is a very lazy girl, and procrastinates around the clock. when someone tells her to do something, they'd have to give her a ten minute's grace before she'd get off her lazy and do it. she is also a very heavy sleeper - not even an earthquake could wake her up. the fool-proof way to wake her up is to wipe her face with an ice-cold towel. but she would usually swat your hand away and go back to sleep. also, rei can sometimes be quite violent. she's stronger than most girls, and has learnt aikido as a child. whenever she's angry, she'd hit something/someone close to her. so it's best to know when she's angry, to avoid getting hurt. her friends have told her that the force of her punch is as good as getting punched by a professional boxer, to which to laughs it off and claims that she was one of the weakest in her aikido class.

rei is a very caring and sometimes over-protective person. she often looks after her brothers, and makes sure that they don't get in trouble or get hurt. she sees it as her responsibilty to take care of them, since she's the oldest of the three siblings, even though the second oldest is her twin brother. she's over-protective of them, like when they get injured, she'd stop whatever she's doing and check up on them, and make sure that they're fine. afterwards, she'd continue asking whether they're still hurting or not, even when they've told her a thousand times that they're okay. she is also quite self-sacrificial. if there's something that others don't want to do, she'd volunteer to do it without a second thought. this sometimes leads to people taking advantage of her, making her do everything that they don't want to. if someone is doing something that could potientionally cause harm to that him/her, she'd volunteer to do it instead, with the thinking of 'it's better if i get hurt than them'. she often puts others before herself, and has been told many times not to be so kind.

Biography ⋮ 

rei was born, along with her twin brother, in a well-to-do family. however, they're not stuck up like most stereotypes. although they don't often volunteer in orphanages, shelters, etc, they find a way to help, like donating money. rei was actually supposed to be the younger twin - that is, if she and her brother were born naturally. however, their mother decided on doing a c-section, and she ended up being the older twin. growing up, rei was often told that she and her brother look exactly alike, even though they're fraternal twins. the people around them often call them 'little twin stars' ever since they were young. bceause little twin stars are a pair of fraternal twins too. her parents have never really put much pressure on her being older, like telling her how she's responsible for her younger brothers. instead, they tell all of them to be responsible for themselves, and that they shouldn't blame it on anyone if something happens to them. however, she still took it as her responsibility to care for them. 

ever since rei was a child, she had enjoyed dancing alot. her parents sent her to various dance classes, her first being ballet, thus making her pretty skilled in that form of dance. her favourite type of dance, however, contradicts to her personality. while most people would expect a gentle, quiet and feminine girl to love ballet, rei's favourite type of dance is pop. it doesn't mean that she doesn't love ballet, but she just finds pop more interesting. rei started singing when she entered elementary school. she had been asked to join the school's choir, even though she really wanted to join the dance club. this was because the school's choir was lacking in alto singers, and they had a compeition coming up soon. she joined until after the compeition, and found that singing wasn't really her cup of tea, even though her teachers praised her for singing well. she ended up joining the dance club.

because rei is often very quiet, the bullies in her school believed that she would never dare to say anything even when she was being bullied. and it was true. she was constantly bullied everyday in school, be it them asking her for money, or physically attacking her. that was when she started taking up aikido classes. just because she was quiet didn't mean she was a push-over. soon, she started fighting back and the bullies left her alone.

Stage personality ⋮ her stage personality is very similar to her actual personality. she doens't talk much. on stage, she doesn't smile much either. but offstage, she smiles much more and laughs too. when laughing on stage, she usually covers her face, because she thinks she looks weird when she's laughing. many people think that her personality is similar to that of vixx's leo.

Trainee history ⋮ when she was 14, she went to korea on a school trip, and was scouted while shopping in dongdaemun with her classmates and teachers. at first, she had denied, stating in broken korean that she's japanese and was on a school trip. the casting agent then told her about sm's global auditions in japan, and encouraged her to go for it. when she got back home, she thought about it for a while, and decided to go. from there, seh joined the company. she has been trained for 3 years before debuting. when she first got to korea, she barely spoke a word of korean and therefore did not interact much with her fellow trainees. not that they cared anyway. during breaks, other trainees would usually sit around and chat with their friends, but rei would continue with her training, leading many people to think that she was trying too hard. other than that, her trainee life was pretty uneventful. it was usually the same routine everyday - wake up, go to school, train, sleep.

Personality ⋮ like rei, yixing is also really quiet and shy. but that's only to strangers. when you get to know him well, he's a loud and somewhat childish person that enjoys fooling around. he's good at telling jokes, and his blank face often makes people laugh alot too. yixing is a training maniac and can continuously dance for long hours without stopping for a break. maybe just once in a while to drink some water. he is also a very talented guy that enjoys writing his own songs and recording them. yixing is a very forgetful person, and would often have to repeat the process of leaving his house, and re-entering because he forgot to take something along with him. he often loses his things, and has to go around looking for them. yixing is also quite an accident/injury prone person, constantly knocking into things when he walks, tripping over thin air, etc. 

How you met ⋮ while rei was walking to her practice room, yixing was nearby and happened to trip over thin air, dropping the books he was carrying. rei, being such a caring person, rushed over to check on him, and made sure that he was okay. she asked him about how he fell, and yixing just laughed it off, saying that he's a very clumsy person. from then, everytime rei sees him, she reminds him to be careful and look where he's going.

Relationship ⋮ rei has a crush on him, but they're currently just friends.
