BACKGROUND — An was born as a the 2nd eldest of 4 siblings and the eldest daughter of her parents. Her family isn't rich nor poor, just middle. Her father work as a full time chef at a hotel while her mother owns her own boutique in myeong-dong. Music was never a big thing in their family, but both of her parents can sing. When her brother got interested in dancing and singing, An followed out of curious and learned how play piano,guitar and dance. At age of 14, she got into a band and her grades weren't really great and not good either. She was also a trouble maker, she usually skips class for practice or wanders around Seoul. She wasn't really a good kid until she got into high school, she changed her image and started working on her studies for her parents.After entering high school, she gained popularity because of her looks and nicknamed queenka, which she feels irritated and embarrassed. In exchange of good grades, her parents let her audition to be an idol and follow in her brother's foot step.

SINGING — Her voice is soft and sweet yet has a raspy sound to it. Some says she sounds like IU and a little of LEE HI. Even though her voice is soft and sweet, she sure can hit a high note like IU. Singing was the only thing she's good at beside instruments. Her voice is her secret weapon.
ACTING — She's good, really good. All of that lying in middle school had made her turn into a good actress. She can cry on command and her expressions are really good. STAGE NAME — Ann ONSTAGE PERSONALITY — Ann still kept her calm and cool self. But for entertainment sake, she acts like a goddess. She always smiles and acts shy, she kept quiet unless someone talks to her. Though she does exaggerate her expressions a little and talks softly and sweetly. To add a little cute image to herself, she acts clumsy and innocent. TRAINEE LIFE — She auditioned for more than 13 times and failed miserably. When she was about to give up, she went to do a street performance where she sang IU's song "Ugly Duckling" where she cried. Someone took a video of her performance and put it online, that was when her popularity shot up and two months later, one of the staff recognizes her and told the president. She was contacted and asked to come in audition and she sang the same song sincerely and finally got in. When she first went to training, nobody talks to her nor looks her way. They completely ignores her existence, even when she moves into a dorm, no one bothers to show her way. When training with partners, she was always the one without a partner. She tried to ignore it and told herself that it's ok, since she was always alone in middle school. But after 6 months as a trainee, thing got worst. People started spreading rumors about her being fake and has connections with the CEO. She ignored it at first but then even the trainers are afraid of her. After a year she stopped coming to training and shut herself up in her house. But when she saw her brother work hard on becoming a composer and a singer, she got back up on her feet and went back to training. After returning to training, everything went surprisingly well. She was transfered to another group of trainees and finally found a friend that was a sunbae.

PERSONALITY — He is funny and full of charms, he's very cautious about his looks and yet he does all kinds of stupid things to make people laugh. He is considerate of others and doesn't really cares if that person is ugly,pretty,rich or poor. He likes to support people no matter what, even if it will hurt him in the end. He is very naive and soft hearted, he get hurt easily and yet easy to put a smile on his face.
He likes to take care of people and always easily bossed around, though nobody dares to bully him, he got too many fan girls. He doesn't like the idea of do it because everyone's doing it. He rather be the stupid a dorky one than the popular and good looking one, even though he's all of that in one and he doesn't know it.
He likes girls who are serious at something she really likes doing and not a hyper girl, prefer the mature and cool. He is very gentleman but always gives girls the wrong message.
HOW YOU TWO MET — It was went Mingyu was late for school, he climbed the school's gate and saw An sneaking out with her guitar. He followed her out of curiousity and she lead them to a park near Ilsan and played her guitar and sang. Mingyu was captivated by her voice and clapped when she was done, it shocked her. At first she ignores him but he kept asking if she was planning to become a singer and that was when they started hanging out for awhile until he moved away.
RELATIONSHIP — At first An really dislikes him, from observation. Until she actually met him, he was the first to compliment her voice beside her own family. She appreciates his accompany and always looks forward to school because of him, but since she was a sunbae their meeting time are limited at school.After a lot of time hanging out and sacrifising his image just to hang with her, made her appreciates him more and she unexpectedly fell in love for him. Mingyu at first really didn't know she was a sunbae and always talk to her casually, until he met her at school in senior building. He really admires her for being able to know and have a goal for her future. He always liked her and he allways tries his best not to make her feel like an equal to his friends since she's special. An never knew who recorded and put up her performance, it was him. He was hanging out with his friend until he heard a familiar voice.
