Imagine the universe without people.

Can you? Can you describe it? How can you describe it when our own opinion of it and thoughts of it are abiding to our physical and emotional responses as humans, and by the science us humans have found, created, and made sense of?

If there aren’t any humans, then there is no universe. You can’t give it a name. You can’t describe it. It’s just there. And everywhere.

No one will ever know anything. If there is life on other planets, they are just as desperate when asked that question as us. They do not know of our existence. They only know of theirs. And with that, there’s too many viewpoints that are too far apart to form any proper opinion or answer to that question of what is the universe like without people?

We don’t mean anything, the universe doesn’t mean anything, how do we? We’re too disconnected to mean anything. On Earth we feel we have the right to mean more and to have a God and romance and love and war and even less important things, but do we? “Rights” were something created by humans. Not animals. Not Earth. If we created it, it doesn’t matter. Does anything matter?

I’m not asking this in a negative way, but in a thoughtful one. Does anything matter?
