Actually it also depends which day you're bidding for. I think Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays are in greater demand, mostly because I guess a lot of readers are on those days too.

Well the starting bid is 100 points, but if you want to win the bid, on average the range is 3500-10000
Honestly, you could just wait until a lot of people have run out of their karma...I never thought the winning bid could be less than 4000 but then it happened :3
