Infinite H "Fly High" Review

In an attempt to strengthen my writing, I've started to write short reviews of albums. These were on another blog but I'm moving them here instead.

Infinite H's Fly High is a five pat jam min-marathon with a mix of hooks and beats that may not seem terribly original but reedem themselves in thanks of nostalgic qualities. It's the sort of album that might've been played the week just before the last day of middle school, while you're hyped, rolling through the neighborhood on your most prized possession- a bike with little value whatsoever but it's yours- ready to round up "the crew" for a game of freeze tag.

It presents the kind of tunes one might hear coming from the opened windows of vehicles parked outside the nearby corner store, the tunes you remember several years later as you get up from an afternoon nap and see there's still time for a quick joyride just because. Only this time in a car and not on your boke. You brush your teeth quick, grab a pair of your favorite jeans sitting on the dryer, ring up a friend, andhead out for classic chocolate covered vanilla ice cream cones or small cups of forzen yogurt with a single fruit choice.

This album is simplicity at best. Enough to rock to, but not overbearing. You don't want to cloud your day with too many friends, there's no point in adding gummy worms, sprinkles, and oreos to your treat and jeans are perfect because with the weather so nice, why waste the time dressing up?

The standout sng is definitely the single, "Without U" ft. Zion.T. This song coms on just as your friend-date is over and you're pulling into your driveway, wondering what next? A possible club visit, perhaps? It also may be the reason I stray from using the word "swag" ironically because damn, how else can I describe it? Even though I know I've listened to this song like a hundred times, I can't help but always return to it. I try to convince myself I need a break, but it's too hard. It's a new old-lover I can't fight.

From the second I finished my first listen through, I was already impatient, wanting more. So please, Infinite H, remain infinite and hurry up.
