Style:
» In regards to everyday wear, Jieying is relatively girly, yet simplistic. She has her fair share of sequins and frills, however Jieying ultimately prefers the comfortable style. It's hard to find any skin-tight clothing in her wardrobe as Jieying is particularly fond of loose and airy dress. She ultimately is a fan of vintage-inspired clothing and will often be spotted sporting her signature hipster-skirt-and-hat look ( ♦ ¦ ♦ ¦ ♦ ¦  ). At home, Jieying does let loose; in summation: sweats, sweatshirts, socks ( ♦ ¦ ♦ ¦  ). Jieying ultimately keeps accessories on the minimum, but there is one necklace she always wears: the bottle cap necklace. She'll keep her shoes pretty simple as well; without all the necessitated urges to wear stilettos or combat boots, Jieying is actually rather fond of flats and mary-janes.
Other:
» both ear are pierced with lobe piercings
» she has a laparatomy scar that she is insecure about

— only you
Personality: softspoken, knowledgeable, loyal, selfless, frank

» Jieying is more popularly known as a silent-type person; she is hardly ever the first to initiate conversation and typically doesn't say anything unless necessitated. In contrast to her nature, though, she doesn't emanate a deathly, mysterious, or cold aura; it's rather comforting and pleasant in a tranquil and serene way. Most would say she is elegant or poised. In the rather rare occassions that Jieying does speak, though, it is evident that she is a softspoken person. Her voice is timid and quiet, and others often strain to hear her over the surrounding environment. However, it is also shown that Jieying is very wise and knowledgeable; she is a realistic person who knows how to give adequate advice without uplifting false hopes or berating crushed egos, and is the willing type of girl to selflessly put others before her. Many who observe Jieying will often say that she is unable to go against anything that anyone says.Though it may not show through her vacant demeanor,  Jieying possesses a strongly rooted sense of loyalty and reponsibility to her friends and family, Tao especially.  Typically, she is very straight-forward with her answers; the soft-spoken girl is not to be underestimated because if the situation calls for it, Jieying can and will be frank. Jieying is more complex of a character than people give her credit for, whatnot with her quiet and reserved nature.

Habits:
» rather than repeating her sentences or questions, Jieying just blinks until she is responded to.
» staring into space
» humming Fur Elise when performing her chores (doing homework, gardening, any task)
» Jieying plays with her bottle cap necklace when she feels discomfort
Triva:
» Jieying wants to be a pediatrician when she grows up

» she's a fond listener of classical music
» her hair was dyed brown in the summer after her high school graduation
» she has a deathly fear of insects
» Jieying's favorite color is red
» she collects soda bottle caps
» the bottle cap necklace she wears is actually the same bottle cap Tao gave to her as a token of his apology. They were in elementary school when he had jokingly insulted her; the joke didn't convey to Jieying, however, and it had caused her to cry. In compensation for being a "big, fat jerky", Tao presented her a bottle cap.
» huge sci-fi nerd
» Jieying is rather introverted, therefore she isn't necessarily physcally fit (ironic for an aspiring doctor)
» in fact, physical education is the biggest joke in the world (to Jieying at least)

— i love you and only you
Love interest: Huang Zitao → 18 years
What you call him by:
» Zitao
» 哥 ¦ Ge (shortened version of older brother in Mandarin)
» 熊 ¦ Xiongmao (means panda bear in Mandarin)

How you met:
» Tao and Jieying have known each other since they were in diapers — literally. If you ask any one of their parents, they would be able to recall the first meeting beautifully, because after all, it was the blossoming of an amazing companionship. So go ahead: ask anyone of their parents. In fact, you can ask Jieying or Tao themselves — the story is the same. It was a sunny spring day in the year 1994 maybe, making both Tao and Jieying about one year of age. They were in a sunny park in Beijing, minding their own businesses; Tao was in his beloved sandbox, and Jieying on a rocking horse just a meter yonder. However, seeing little Tao build his own sand fortress, one year old Jieying wanted in on the giggles as well; and so stumbling over to the sandbox with her father hot on her trail, Jieying approached the dark-eyed toddler with the blue shovel in his hand. She pointed to the lump of sand laying lifelessly before Tao and his stuffed panda. "I want to play, too..." Jieying bashfully announced. Silence was shared between the two adolescents before Tao stifled a laugh and flashed her his most handsome – and rather toothless – grin, handing Jieying his favorite blue shovel.

How you act around each other:
» Tao is the only person in the world who can push at Jieying's buttons and get her to speak and act comfortably. He knows her inside and out, from her insecurities to her most prideful feats; the same goes for Jieying with Tao. Jieying might still be softspoken around Tao, but it is evident that they're close, that she cares for him. Tao is always giving Jieying his undivided attention and always abiding to her words, just like a child would to an adult; it may strike as a servant-master relationship, but if one probes deeper into the depths of their relationship, they will find that Jieying's relationship with Tao is more of a mother-son companionship (as peculiar as it may seem). Jieying is constantly worrying for Tao and for his well-being – because Tao does have the tendency to be childishly reckless  whereas Tao is redundantly assuring the former of his perfect condition, despite the dubious glance Jieying would give him in return.

» However now with the transformation that Tao had underwent, it seems as if their roles have been reversed. Tao is now the one to fluster himself over Jieying's well-being, whatnot with all those hours she spends in the garden with those damned insects. And it seems that now it's Jieying who is assuring Tao that she is a big girl, that she can handle herself without his assistance. Rather than the mother-son relationship that had once existed between the two, however, the reversal is more complex but just as peculiar as the original relationship — because no longer do they resemble a parent fretting over their beloved child, but rather a boyfriend worrying himself over the sake of his lover. And unbeknownst to Jieying, Tao is constantly trying to impress her, constantly trying to better himself for Jieying.

» But in summation, if there is ever anything Jieying needs, she wouldn't even have to call for Tao because he would already be there to catch her when she falls; and Jieying is proud to say that she could do the same for Tao. They're really so close that it's a part of the norm for Jieying to stay up with Tao past the most ungodly hours just to ensure that he's finished with homework; that it's a part of the norm for Tao to visit Jieying at midnight because he knows she's having trouble sleeping; that it's a part of the norm for: "Can you please watch it!? Do you want to get your arm chopped off? Jesus, be more careful!"; that it's a part of the norm for: "Shut up, Zitao." "Jieying, pay attention to me." "Zitao, please." "Jieying!"; that it's the norm for late night mandu runs and early morning coffee breaks. Bff's-4-lyf.

— family time
Does her family want her to go to this college?
↷ Not necessarily; Jieying's parents would have much preferred it that Jieying remained in Beijing to finish her studies there. Jieying has no siblings, and being the only child, it was hard for her parents to endure their only daughter moving a couple hundred miles away for university. However, once they heard new of why Jieying wanted to study at Mei Hua, they complied with slight hesitance. Her parents, still to this day, are reticent in allowing Jieying to study at Mei Hua; the only thing that is keeping them from flying over to Korea themselves to kidnap their daughter back to her motherland is Jieying's vivacious long-term goal to become an internationally active doctor. And what better place is there aside from Mei Hua for Jieying to embark on the journey of international studies?
Best friends/Friends:
friend ↷ Liu Yiyun (Amber Liu) » 18 years » four » Jieying often describes Amber as her own source of sanity. With all the bustling students around campus, it seems Amber is the only down-to-earth one left. They're just close friends that walk and talk with one another; it helps Jieying, especially since Amber is a girl and understands the feminine issues women have to deal with. And at least now it saves Tao the humiliation of having to be explained the process of the menstrual cycle. Though the only times they actually do interact are mainly at school, Amber and Jieying wouldn't hesitate in calling each other to have a nice cup of coffee just to hang out.

— " I Want The Old You Back "
oo1. How did you feel when he changed into a man. Did you like it?
↷ Hm, I'm not exactly sure... I was shocked, definitely.. and... It's not the Zitao I'm.. accustomed to? In more ways than some, I suppose I do like the change a little. Before Zitao.. 'changed', I was just always worrying myself over him; he just got into trouble all the time, be it with teachers or other students, and I just— I guess it just feels nice, now, to have Zitao worry about me as diligently as I had with him. It's a pleasant feeling, and even though the change is for the better, I'm not going to deny that I'm gonna miss nagging that brat.
oo2. Do you like the childish Tao? or manly Tao?
↷ A quarter of my heart goes to the childish Zitao, and the other three quarters of my heart goes to manly Zitao. The manly Zitao.. it makes me see him in a new light — a good, new light.
oo3. How did you feel when Tao told you he changed to meet your ideal type?
↷ It felt like.. all the realization that came to me at that moment had knocked all the wind and sense out of me. I'll admit that I have had moments where I wondered, What would it be like if Zitao were my boyfriend? And I will admit that I might, maybe, probably, most definitely see Zitao as more than just my best friend, but.. that realization that he had been trying to change himself for me all along.. it make me incredulous; I feel like it's coming to be too much like a romantic novel to be true.
oo4: What is your ideal type?
↷ Someone strong and independent. A man with virtues and morals. I'm not well built in physique, so I want to trust a man who will be able to protect me and care for me. I want a guy who is able to make decisions for himself, someone who's mature enough to understand what I am saying; I want to be able to have intellectual conversations. I'm pretty choosy — it's because I'm not looking for a yesman, I want an equal.. you know? If I had to name a person or an idol, I think my ideal type would be someone like Tablo.

Comments:
» I'm dooooOooOOOoooooOOoOne. I hope you like her, haha. I don't know why, but I always thought this type of girl seems to suit Tao. LOL, and I know you like popular ulzzang, but it was hard to choose because they were all cutesy-aegyo filled and I just — they're not Tao's type, ok. LOL.
Suggestions:
Scene request:
» for some unknown reason that is up to the author, Tao and Jieying get into a heated argument. It escalates, and for the first time since their friendship blossomed, Jieying yells at Tao. She raises her voice and slams her hand angrily against a hard surface (ie. table, countertop), and it's the first time Tao has ever seen Jieying so angry. Preferably, they're at Jieying's place of residence, so Jieying can tell Tao to leave. After he does, Jieying decides to sleep the night away and the next morning as she is about to leave for class, she finds a bag full of soda bottle caps lying at her front step with an apology note attached: Bottle caps for all the times I've pissed you off, and more for the times I will piss you off in the future.

» Maybe Tao and Jieying can be called the Bottle Cap Couple, I don't know LOL.

» scenes involving their late night runs to go buy mandu; scenes involving their early morning runs to get coffee; basically Tao/Jieying bonding time

» it's Tao's first time seeing Jieying after his change; as she sees him, Jieying is undeniably stunned. Her first instinct is to run her hand through his hair, which is now red  a blazing, flaming, hot red. Tao blushes, and lifts her hand gently away and asks her almost shyly, "Do you like it?" Jieying responds by saying that her favorite color is red, to which Tao says, "I know." Before Jieying can say anything else, the bell rings, and it's time for class.

» the school is holding some kind of an event (a festival, maybe) and the photography club kids are going around taking pictures to post onto mei hua's university photo gallery online. One of the photography club kids snapped a really pretty shot of Jieying smelling one of the flowers at the courtyard and when Tao sees it posted on the online gallery, he secretly saves the photo for himself onto his laptop (WHICH JIEYING LATER FINDS. IT COULD EVEN BE SOMEONE ELSE WHO FINDS IT BUT TELLS JIEYING LOL)

» OOH. Maybe for the confession scene: Tao spots Jieying speaking with another classmate, and they're smiling/laughing, haha and Tao gets jealous. Somehow, Tao confronts her about it by rambling how bad that other guy she was talking to earlier was up to no good and that she shouldn't talk to him anymore, etc. Basically, delirious Tao is letting his envy overcome his speech and Jieying gets impatient; she demands "what's up" with Tao lately and Tao literally gets fed up because damn it, he likes her. So he goes (something along these lines): "You go around noticing other guys, but you won't even spare a glance towards the one that's literally fighting for your attention." To this, Jieying is confused and asks, "What?"
And stupid Tao, "Heck, I even changed— no way, I didn't change; I literally transformed for you!" (DUHN DUHN DUNNN)

Sorry, I read too much manga, I'll stop ok thanks bai.
