Personality: Head-strong and independent. She speaks her mind and for herself. She isn't one to hesitate on making decisions, and rarely regrets the decisions and actions she makes. She isn't one to become easily shy or nervous or embarrassed around others. She is head-strong and doesn't shy away from danger, instead she learned to face a problem head on. She was bullied a lot when younger, but then got sick of their constant teasing and learned to stand up for herself; thus, becoming independent. She is very straight forward and will tell the person straight up what's on her mind. Not bothering to sugar coat her words. She will not pay attention to something that is not of her interest, instead she is portrayed as a slacker because of this. She was called a "Troublemaker" by teachers of her school for slacking off so much. Mai isn't dumb, far from it, she just hates thinking of something that she thinks is pointless. Instead she puts her smarts into her entertainment, pranks.

Mai is really only described in one work, PRANKSTER. She can't even deny it herself, she loves to prank others and is somewhat of a "TROLL." She is a major prankster and will prank everyone at least once. Because of this, she is well known through her pranks, and whenever there is something "strange" that happened, they blame it on Mai, knowing of her history of pranks.

Mai is somewhat stubborn and is able to get a situation in her favor. Hey, after years of doing pranks, she had to learn of someway to get out of being in trouble. Not only is she a prankster, but she is also the combo of being very sarcastic. She is full of sarcasm and can make witty comebacks that could shut a person up for good. She is mainly known for these qualities, many think of them as bad traits, but she is most proud of this part of herself.

Although she is sort of a child, she is very professional and serious about her musical career. She works hard in training and will push herself to her limit. She is not one to give up, but instead keep pushing forward. This gal is extremely dense and can't take a hint or a sign. Someone could be waving an "I LOVE YOU" flag right in front of her face, and she wouldn't notice it. She knows nothing of love and has never had a crush or love before, so she is clueless on the topic. She denies to like a guy, thinking they are pointless and just get in the way, but her heart says something different.

She isn't the type to show a lot of aegyo, cutesy faces or peppy. happy-go-lucky emotions. No, she plays it simple, always having a neutral expression, may be showing in difference. But, you can't tell between her bored or poker face, since they are quite similar. She does wear a smirk and once she does, then you will know she is up to something devious or thinking of something, not telling or knowing what it could be. Either way, it would be smart to just walk away when she is smirking, cause you won't know what can and will happen. Almost, like a ticking time-bomb, she can go off at any moment.

How she became a trainee: She was first known as JongUp's younger sister, she hate that title. Mai didn't want to be recognized as an idol's younger sister, she didn't want to live in his shadow. she is a dancer as well, similar to her step-brother, but usually just did it for the fun of it. She has a habit of just going with the flow whenever she hears a song. At times, she doesn't notice this but others tell her, that when there is a song playing nearby and she hears it, she would just randomly start to break out and dance along to it. She didn't believe those that told her about it, but she had no choice since she found a video of herself dancing in the middle of the street. It was posted on YouTube and on the homepage. She was a little shocked in the beginning, but after reading the comments for the vid, she became happy that others liked it.

She soon started her own channel that had vids of her just free dancing, and some of tutorials on how to train and perform these sorts of break dances. Just incase for those upcoming b-girls. The videos got a good amount of views and she became a little popular little by little. But, that was how she became known, not how she was really discovered--but this will go with that.

She was discovered and became a trainee through her step-brother. He already debut in TS ent. He knew that mai also had a growing passion to perform, so he decided to show the CEO of TS ent. the first video of her dancing in the middle of the street. She asked him as to why he showed the video and he would always respond "You should be thanksful I did" then walk off, he never told her the reason :p She didn't know if the head of TS ent liked it or not, since JongUp had told her that the CEO had a serious expression on the whole time when watching it.

One day, when in the middle of practicing and planning to make another vid, she made one about every other week or so, she suddenly got a random call from JongUp. She thought he was suppose to be having a schedule today, so she decided to text him back instead of picking up his call. "What?" she texted him. As she was about to put her phone down her phone vibrated. She looked at it and read it, and immediately went wide-eyed. "The CEO wants to meet with you!" he texted back. She dropped her phone, may be breaking it in the process but she didn't worry about that at the moment. She picked up her phone after coming out of the daze and texted him back[thank God her phone wasn't broken] "Why? What did I do?" He responded "The CEO wants to meet with you to see if you want to audition to be taken as a trainee! The CEO seemed to have enjoyed the video!" She dropped her phone again, she was sure it was broken this time. But, she picked it up anyways and tried to text on it, thank God again that it landed on the carpeted floor. She texted him back saying that she would like to audition for the ent. so JongUp emailed her all the info and whatnot needed to sign up for an audition.

The day she went for my audition, she was a nervous wreck on the inside, but tried to be cool and composed on the outside. For her audition she danced and rapped. The judges were saying it was okay and could use some cleaning up on, she felt as though it wasn't good enough. But, the next thing she knew the judges said "Welcome to TS Ent. as our new trainee" she went wide-eyed then a smile appeared on her face, She fist pumped into the air and yelled "YES!" she looked back at them and said thank you with a bow. She just took her first step into becoming someone of their own title, and a big step forward towards her dream.
