For those who are/were in a collab, I need your help :D

Okay so, Summer is almost there and most of you know that I will be having a collab with EnaLovely about my newest obsession: The couple of Yunho and Beni, known as YunBe. And that FabCassies are rising as well which, it makes me very happy <3

It's my very first time in doing something like this (and Ena's too) so, I have some questions about doing a collab, meaning in having a co-author in a story.

1) Who is the person really in charge of updating?

2) Do both of us have the same right in posting the chapters?

3) Do both of us have the same control over the story?

4) As soon as I add my co-author, I'm still the original owner of the story?

Overall, how does this thing work actually? If you have any aditional advice, just let me know, okay? It would mean a lot if you guys can help me with this. You know how much of a perfectonist I am, right?

And to my fellow FabCassies and YunBe readers, I hope you will love my and Ena's hard work. The wait will be worth it. Let's keep spreading the love to thois rare but amazing couple <3

Now the answers to your questions are totally up to you! Like talk with your partner and say who gets to update! And if its a collab then both of you have a right to participate on the project whether it be updating, desingning and so on. As to the control of the story the co-author has the needed control over the story to make the collab work. Now from my knowledge of being a co-author of an rp where i didnt rly update much but there were still some functions that I couldn't control and I forget which but the author defo has the most control over the story. And yes you are the 'owner' of the story now I'm not sure what you entirely meant by that but you did say that this is a collab -meaning two people coming together to produce- and I'm totally basing my judgement on that. The two of you, based on the terms of your partnership -again bear in mind you did say collaboration- have equal ownership and entitlement to the story as a whole. Well lol omg I sound like some experienced writer but tbh I've just had 2 of these collaborationd /facepalms but hey you asked for it :p

Yes, only one user is the author and the main writer, which is you in our case.
But i thought that we could either post our own stories on our accounts, but somehow link them?? for example, to write something in Foreword "this is a collab between (username) and I, we're posting several one shots of YunBe" with full description and you know, to put something like that in the Foreword, and to link each other and to link stories as well?? I don't know, I've never done it before...
Or maybe you thought about working on a long story with many chapters? That would be tricky, since we wouldn't be able to sync our different styles of writing in the same story... I'm confused :D

you still the original owner of the story eventho you have add a co-author...but both of you can access the story fairly(like updating, editing etc)...and whichever from you can post the chapter too..it's like no different between author and co-author..the only thing that i notice is, when you upload the story, on the front page only appear the author name...but until you click to read more, then the co-author name will appear too...

well i am a co-author for my friend's story...since that is her story, i just only help her with the idea and plot but she did all the writing...if must be weird if two people write on the same story...the flow must feel different...i mean everyone have their own style of writing, right??for the readers not to get confused, i think it is wise if only one person do the writing...well, that's my opinion...
