Hi :)

So I am a person who uses photoshop CS6. And I really need advice for making posters. Here are a few posters that I have done ( Doint mind the animation brcause I at making animation, I just wanted to try)

Out of all of these I think the second one came out the best because of the color choice. But I think I could have done so much better If I knew more options to use. And I want to know like how to make my own backgrounds, animation, etc. So I was wondering if you can give me advice, or send me videos on anyting to help me improve on my poster making. 

I was also wondering which program is better to use for posters is it Gimp or Photoshop? or are they they about the same? 

So can you Please send me advice because I would really like to improve. Espically on animation
