Her mom lived for a year with that disease. When she died, Ji Hyun was left with her dad and her brother. Then his father remarried. Her step mother maltreated them when his dad was away for business trips. When her father found out about it, he immediately separated with that woman. Since then, Ji Hyun and Ji Hoo lived with their father and grandparents happily.
