Self Writing Reflection (Source from TaeminnieMie)

[ 1 ] How many fics have you started? (No matter how few it is, you can give yourself a pat on the back for demonstrating initiative.)

Till now, I have 26 fan fictions. 21 of them are completed. The rest are on-going fanfictions. But I kind of worry when the  new school semester starts, I can't keep up with the daily updates anymore. I started a collaboration fanfic with my best friend, 'That Mansion' and I started another angst story just 2 days ago (10.04.2013). But I will still try my very best to update within 2-3 days ^^

[ 2 ] How many fics have you completed? (Now, if it’s greater than zero, you can give yourself another pat on the back for demonstrating commitment.)

21. I am rather proud of this number. Hmm.. but frankly speaking, the number consists of one-shots. So taking away those, I actually have 16 fan-fictions, and 10 completed ^^

[ 3 ] What is your very first fic? What inspired and motivated you to write it? How do you feel and what do you think about it now?

"Love with a Shutter". It is based on B2ST and roleplay between me and my 2 friends. Of course, B2ST is the inspiration and I am someone who have a great imagination, I guess? I love photography and so, the idea just hit me and I am like, okay, "I shall write a fanfiction then."

I kind of thought that it was a good start for me to like start writing and mingle with people here on AFF. I don't really remember how I got to this website and I can't remember which is the first fanfiction I read as well, but I am actually here to start writing.

It was only after I write, I start reading other people's fanfictions. So.. It kind of made me familiarise with the things here and ya.

[ 4 ] Which fic of yours do you think is the most well written? Why?

I do think all of them are good. *shy* I mean, I spent my time into writing it so they are all good to me.

Hmm.. but I did mention it on one of the foreword of my fanfic, "Yeoja in The House?!" that this is the best. The story plot is really twisted and I do enjoy the emotions when I am writing it.

But after that one, I thought "Love Crash?!" is the also, one of the Best. I didn't really have confidence when I am going to write it as it involves super powers. Yarh.. it's EXO and so, I kind of feared? Like, would I be able to write as well as other fanfictions out there.

But then I thought, "Why should I care so much?" and then I just went on with the writing, ideas flowing in, and my bestie did help to give an idea and I went on with it as I thought it was really cool. Readers even said that they hope this could be featured, so I guess it's good ^^

[ 5 ] Which fic of yours do you think is the most poorly written? Why?

Hmm... I have this fanfic on hiatus. The idea came from my first fanfiction actually but.. The idea died.. *sadly*

So ya, it's not poorly written just that, I didn't continue to write it :p

[ 6 ] Which fic is your favorite out of the ones you’ve written? Why?

My favourite? keke, "A 1000th Years of Love Is Worth". Because my Husband is the main character :p DongWoonie~~

Hmm.. I got this idea after watching "My Girlfriend is a Gumiho". So ya, it's Gumiho and those kind of fantasy genre.

Next favourite would be "Love Crash?!", really. I like it ^^

[ 7 ] Which fic is your least favorite out of the ones you’ve written? Why?

"A 1000th Years of Love Is Worth". My favourite is also, my least favourite. Know what, the story line is really sad. It made me cry while I cry though... *too emotional*

And also, my first fanfiction actually. Actually, it shouldn't be 'least favourite' but it should be 'least satisfied'. Due to it being my first fanfiction, it isn't that satisfactory actually. *High standards*

[ 8 ] Which character that you’ve written (does not have to be an OC; can be your portrayal of an idol) do you believe most closely resembles you?

Actually, I based my OC character based on me. Currently, I didn't write idol x idol for the main characters yet. So.. the characters all resembles me ^^

[ 9 ] What are the most common topics and themes that dominate your stories?

My readers would know that I like to integrate FLUFF and ANGST together~~

And then, there would surely be romance, well, I play along the seperation line as well :p

Also, friendship or kinship. I think it's due to my horoscope, I treasure these a lot. (I am a Cancer, June Baby ^^)

[ 10 ] What do you think are your strengths when it comes to writing? Be specific.

My strength... Hmm.. I get ideas flowing in my brains all the time? Like, I hardly get Writer's block, only towards the near ending part, I would think a little slower.

I read, and I understand. So, reading part, I do read other outstanding writer's work and then I spot for points to learn and, by understanding,  I could apply it into my own fanfictions when I write ^^

[ 11 ] What do you think are your weaknesses when it comes to writing? Be specific.

Time might be a factor. School starts soon, I might not have the time to write. *sobs*

[ 12 ] In what ways do you think you have improved since you first began writing fan fiction?

I think I am more skilled in writing out forewords now :p

Well la, my forewords got positive comments and the readers are interested in my story and hence I gained their support ^^

[ 13 ] In what ways do you think your writing reflects you?

I emphasizes on different kind of relationships in my writing. So I guess the part whereby I treasure relationships is reflected in my writing.

[ 14 ] Why do you write?

I write because I want to share. Really, I love sharing. I want to share my thoughts, what's in my mind and what I know with the readers. I have the passion since young actually, I love reading since young and I love writing since young as well.

[ 15 ] How do you evaluate yourself as a writer? How do you define your success a writer?

I think, I’m already a writer and a reader also. I started making posters for y own fanfics and also, my friend's. Writing is not a very easy thing without reading, I am glad I started reading since young and also, I had a vivid imagination and so..

I think I am still learning, I can't really give myself a score yet. Maybe my readers shall give me a score ^^

As for a successful writer, hmm.. To have the love from readers and also, patience as well ^^

I see many other users commenting on other author's stories saying that, "I am not supporting this as it is taking too long to update."

I felt rather sad though, "Why such harsh comments?" so, I define a successful writer as one when he/she has the patience of their readers. But also, they shouldn't take too long to update though :p

[ 16 ] What do you think it means to be a writer?

Someone who is able to express their thoughts with words, weave them into paragraphs and eventually all the different incidents into one whole complete story. The story would then like the readers with the writer, feel the same as the writer, be obsessed with the story and to even feel with the characters.

I do think this would be a hard thing to acheive but, I will strive for it ^^

I hope that this questionnaire will be able to apply to you. Thank You.

P.S. this questions are not mine. Some questions are from other users
