☁ BEHIND THE MASK

personality — This group was made for Minnah cause she truly believes that she's a goddess, or at least of noble blood. Ever since her first trip to Paris, Minnah has felt a deep spiritual connection to the great french nobels of the past. This connection however sometimes makes her coo coo for coco puffs. Her mind is always on how she can make herself and others better, which often gets her compared to Rarity from My Little Ponies not to mention that they both sport the same purple hairstyle. She most likely has the biggest mouth of the group despite being one of the smallest and shortest girls. She just can't keep shut sometimes, especially if she believes that what she's saying is right. Because of her larger than life personality, and her 'goddess' attitude Minnah can come off as arrogant but the arrogant side of Minnah comes out only when she's performing, when she needs it most.

When in casual social settings, Minnah is most likely the one orchestrating the run. She likes to make sure that everyone is having a good time. She's probably also the one holding back your hair when you vomit, and making sure the paparazzi don't get bad pictures of you when you're wasted. Minnah can hold her soju with the best of them and doesn't like to be seen out of order. However, she doesn't like to be seen as a role model because it's too much pressure to be perfect all the time. When having a crush, or in strong like (not love because she's never been in love) she can definetly be shy. So shy to the point where she'll blush when he's near, or stumble over her feet or words. She's definetly not the type of girl to act like she doesn't like them, or even tell them head on.

When on variety shows she can easily be the most charismatic member. She has a cool charm that people like to see but she can also be dim witted at times and she does become embarrased easily. When Minnah first started to appear on tv, she was chastized for sitting to arrogantly (she would cross her legs and sit as if the chair was a throne) but now it's become her common stature and people start to worry when she doesn't sit like that. Minnah is also very ambitious and sometimes likes to take over shows, which audiences love. She even has her own catchphrase, 'you mean like this' where when someone asks her to do something and then after saying the catchphrase she does the action overexaggerately.

background — Minnah was born in Los Angeles, California to two immigrant parents. As a first generation Korean-American, Minnah was expected to make something big of herself. To her parents this meant becoming a doctor, or a lawyer. However, Minnah always wanted to do more with her life than be constricted to one job. However, she also wanted to make her parents proud so up until her sophmore year in high school she stowed away her dreams for her parents sake. When she was in 10th grade, her mother and father moved the family to Edmonds, Washington after her father landed a job there. She enrolled into Edmonds Woodway High School where she would meet Jay Park, future member now ex member of 2PM. For a while Minnah couldn't find her niche at Edmonds. Sure she had her studies but she didn't just want to study all the time. She found herself friendless because she prefered to study than to make friends. However, after two weeks during her lunch break she found a group of people dancing in the courtyard. This was her first encounter with Jay Park. After watching the group Jay Park, who was a junior, came up to her and asked if she danced. She truthfully told him that she had never danced for a serious reason. After laughing, Jay started to talk to her more and she had her first friend. After a while Jay and Minnah started to date casually until Jay was accepted into JYP. He moved to South Korea, and messaged her every week telling her that he was okay...which she would find out later was a lie.

Minnah graduated from high school with a 3.6 and a career of over three leading roles in the school plays and a solo spot in the school choir. She earned herself a full ride to USC, her mother's first choice for her daughter's college education. However, Minnah had previously auditioned for JYP as well after seeing Jay on the internet and was accepted. Instead of going to school, Minnah decided to go to korea instead to join JYP.

After joining JYP, Minnah trained for two years and decided to join a newly formed entertainment agency called Jellyfish, where she is today.
