OH MY GOD YOU GUYS.. \(;A;)/ **LES MISERABLES SPOILER

So before school got out.. We were watching Les Misèrables in my Vocale Ensemble class. We didn't get to finish the movie, so over Spring Break, my mom bought it for me as an Easter present.

Well today, I finally decided to sit down and watch it. To finish the movie.

So I watch it up until the part where we stopped at class. Then I pause, get more tea, and resume.

The revolution happens. AND ENJORLAS DIES. Okay, not alright. He was freakin' gorgeous. But anyway, Valjean escapes with Marius to find a doctor.

So he finally gets out of the sewers with Marius still on his back, and Javert is standing there. And he's like "I'm gonna kill you. I'm gonna make you regret letting me go, you should've just killed me." But Valjean is like,"This boy needs a doctor, give me one more hour and then my fate will be in your hands." He starts to walk away and Javert is like "One more step and you die".

I'm sitting here like,"JAVERT DON'T BE A AND LET HIM GO."

So Javert ends up letting Valjean go. And next thing you know, he's standing on a bridge singing to himself. And it's really upsetting because Javert is like walking along the edges and I'm SO afraid he's going to fall. Javert is another one of my favorite characters mind you.. And he finishes his song, AND LETS HIMSELF FALL OF THE BRIDGE TO HIS DEATH.

I screamed in anger. I had tears falling from my eyes. I'm not even lying. I was angry and sad. At this point, I'm so upset because two out of three of my favorite characters have died so far. Enjorlas and Javert. Both lovely voices and great characters.

So later a little while after, Marius is healed and Cosette and him are together. And to save Cosette's reputation, Valjean leaves to the convent thing. And he's really weak. He's been running for the past 17 years if his life. He had given so much, done so much and has finally come to the point where he can finally be at peace. He's so ready to leave the world, because he has given so much. Then Cosette and Marius find him in the convent. And he's happy that he can see them (since they're married now). And he's finally happy he can be at peace. VALJEAN IS LITTERALLY SITTING THERE SAYING HIS GOODBYES TO COSETTE AND MARIUS.

Then all of a sudden you hear Fantine (Cosette's mother who died earlier in the movie) singing again. And she appears to Valjean. And he's like,"I'm ready now Fantine, I can go now."

AND HE DIES.

MOTHER OF GOD.

But his spirit gets up and walks out of the room with Fantine and they end up meeting up with all of the characters that had died over the course of 20 years due to being victims of poverty, war, misery and misfortune. And also the characters who had died throughout the movie. The song they sang together was amazing. All the people made this huge blockade outside the French Govermental building. They end on this beautiful chord and the screen goes black.

As the credits started rolling, I let it out. You guys.. I'm not even kidding you, I was crying. Really hard. Les Misèrables is such a beautiful movie. But I was still upset that my 3 favorite characters died. I cried for at least 10 minutes after the movie finished. I was so touched by the beauty of this movie. The actors were amazing with their roles. The characters were literally perfect. My heart, throughout the whole movie, reached out to the characters and their misery. I wanted to help each and every one of them. I wanted to tell them it would be okay. Even if I couldn't do much, I wanted to help them.

All in all, this was a great movie and I would recommend it to anyone. The stories of the characters and what they had to go through, I think every one needs to know. But really, I was upset that all of my favorite characters DIED.

But in order for the movie to work so well, they had to die. So I'm glad. I'm glad that the movie was such an emotional ride for me. I was angry, upset, happy, and overwhelmed. Les Misèrables is definitely one of my top favorite movies now! c: ♥
